Located inside Haven City, in the corner across from Sabaidee and just before the doors that lead to the outdoor seating area, it's easy to overlook but absolutely worth finding. We ordered the Banutella Waffles and the Crab Benedict, and both were incredible. The Banutella Waffles were perfectly balanced not overly sweet, with just the right amount of Nutella and banana. The waffle itself had great flavor and texture, definitely not your typical pancake-batter waffle. I could've easily eaten two! The Crab Benedict was the real standout. It was phenomenal, fresh, pure crab (not imitation or canned), well-seasoned, and paired with arugula that added a fresh contrast and pleasant texture. Hands down the best Crab Benedict I've had in the Inland Empire, and honestly, it could rival versions served at coastal brunch spots. Service was excellent, too. Our server was patient, friendly, and clearly knew the menu well. This spot is seriously underrated, and I'm so glad we discovered it. Already looking forward to going back! read more

Came here for the first time today with my daughter. Saw the yelp reviews and had to try this local place out. It's located inside haven city market - so plenty of parking but the restaurant space itself is pretty small and tucked in the back. First impression is everything - it wasn't that busy and there were plenty of seating but we had to wait about 10 mins until we were seated. I was craving something hearty since I was so hungry and was so happy to see loco moco on the menu. I asked for the meat to be cooked medium with a sunny side up egg.... What I got was medium rare.. dont get me wrong, it was very delicious, but I still like my meat cooked a bit more. Overall, it's a cute little breakfast spot with a huge selection of breakfast and lunch options. I'd come back and give it another try. :) read more

Started off with a very long wait time despite several tables being open but upon sitting down, we were able to order relatively quickly. We ordered the truffle mushroom burger with truffle fries, a loco moco and the short rib Benedict, all of which sounded like very good choices. Unfortunately the food took an extra hour and a half to arrive at our table and though the food was very tasty, we found a hair in the short rib benedict! We notified and staff as soon as we found it and after some apologies from the waitress, we ended up waiting another 30 minutes for them to redo the order. By the time we got the food though, our appetite for the food had already been severely diminished The aesthetic and the food choices are really nice but with this unfortunate first time experience, I don't believe I'll be coming back here anytime soon read more

I hardly ever make it to Rancho during brunch hours, but when I'm in the area, Lemon Tree Cafe is on my mind. I was skeptical at first because the menu prices look a little crazy. What you get is well worth it though. Much bigger portions than I expected, and my orders came with sides of seasoned potatoes. I almost feel that this place is doing itself a disservice by not including pictures of at least a few dishes on their paper menu, because the generous portions and cute, aesthetic plating are things that you definitely don't want to miss out on. I tried the fish Benedict and avocado toast and loved them! Fried items were perfectly hot and crispy. I loved the sweetness of the apples and balsamic on the toast. They were somewhere in between light and heavy in terms of brunch options, but both felt wholesome and healthy. The menu was huge and had lots of things I could eat as a pescatarian. I took my relatives visiting from New York to Haven City for brunch, and they loved the vibe of Lemon Tree, which is the only fine-in type of restaurant in the food court. It's beautiful and has a vintage, nature aesthetic that just sorta feels like a picnic, and it's super nice for pics! The presentations of the food is beautiful and the pictures on yelp don't do them justice, and everything tasted absolutely delicious. The french toast was the first crunchy one i've ever had, yet still was so fluffy and soft! We were a large party of young girls too, yet the staff was incredibly accommodating and said yes to matter to the request! I understand how hard it is to be in the server's shoes, yet they held such a positive attitude every time they asked to change tables, swat bugs (we were sitting outside and dealt with beetles), or anything else! Really enjoyed the food here. The service was fast and friendly. Seating was widely available, the server let us know afternoon was the best time to come, as they get really busy in the mornings. It was a really bright and warm atmosphere. Lots of natural light which I loved. The mama's waffle plate was great, the chicken was good even on its own. It was thin filet of chicken breaded and fried like a milanesa type beat, stacked on a waffle with onion rings, bacon, fried jalapeño, side of gravy, syrup and fresh fruit. The bulgogi Benedict was soooo good I thought the meat was marinated really well it had great flavor. The drinks were not bad. I wish I had tried a lemonade or tea. My husband and I went to this cafe this afternoon and kind of disappointed. We ordered the Crab Benedict, chai Latte with Almond milk and the tuna and egg toast. First off the crab Benedict my husband said falls apart very easily and the bread was very soggy. But he did say the potato's that came with them were so good. Second, I ordered the Tuna and Egg toast I thought that was amazing. I didn't think the combination would work but it did. It had avocado, egg, and tuna with cranberries in it. It also came with a side of potato which was great. DO NOT order the Chai latte. It was way to sweet. I could not finish it only a couple of sips and I was done. I couldn't taste the chai all I could taste was sryup and sugar. Lastly the service was OK. We were on a time crunch about 40 minutes to spare but ended up only having 7 minutes to eat it. Also we ask for a to go box and she ended up forgetting. In conclusion do not get the Latte and also if you are short on time do not come here they are a little slow and forgetful but we will probably give it another go but this time with no time constraints. read more

My husband and I have been here multiple times and the food is decent, but unfortunately the 1 star review is due to consistent poor service. On 4 separate occasions we've come to this establishment, waited at the front 10-20 minutes without any acknowledgement. The employees will completely avoid eye contact with us the entire time we wait. I understand if it's busy letting us know the wait time or let us write our name down somewhere but we haven't been offered anything besides cold shoulders despite seeing the restaurant have open tables available. I had returned 3 times, but I keep missing them because they close early at 3 or 4 PM. Luckily, on my 3rd visit, I barely made it. They were getting ready to close. The nice lady was so accommodating. I told her it was my 3rd time coming here and she was gracious to take my order. Of course I ordered the potato & egg avocado toast. It comes with fries or salad... I didn't want them so I asked her to give me extra potato salad and she was okay with that... thank you! Now here come's my small gripe, it was over $16+ for one order which was very surprising to me. Just a tad pricey IMHO. Don't get me wrong... it's a great tasting toast with goodies on top. I've been coming here since they opened. I usually get the avocado toast, which I do enjoy. I think the food tastes great and service is wonderful. My partner loves to get their Nashville chicken. I do feel like they are a little expensive given an avocado toast with a small portion of potatoes is almost $20. I do like where it is located in Haven city market. I think I caught them at their soft opening. Cashier explained not everything is available yet. I ordered the spinach artichoke omelet and was pleasantly surprised with how heavy the container was. It's loaded with fresh veggies that aren't overcooked. The accompanying potatoes, toast, and salad made this vegetarian meal super hearty. Cozy little café located on the southeast corner of Haven City Market; it is the only place open in the morning. Everything else is closed. There are only about a handful of tables and a bar top, so when you do come, expect a small wait. My wife and I ordered their all-you-can-drink mimosas, and some food, of course, lol. I ordered their lemon pancakes. I've never had lemon pancakes, but it seems to be their trademark. They were DELICIOUS! I recommend not putting any syrup on them as it alters the taste. They recommended the Bulgogi Benedict and the Crunchy French toast. Both of them are really good, but I particularly like the Benedict better. The sweet marinade from the Bulgogi really counteracted the saltiness of the rest of the dish. I thought the Crunchy French toast was all right. The crunchiness came from breading the bread with cornflakes. It sounded intriguing and it tasted good, but I didn't think the cornflakes gave it any flavoring, just texture. Not bad for a restaurant inside of a food court! Lemon Tree is located in the back of Haven City Market towards the right side. It's the only place there with a diner type of service. I had bookmarked this place for a while and was happy to finally try it. Of course, I had to get their namesake dish - the lemon tree pancake. It was good but more on the sweet side. I wish they made it more lemon ricotta flavor and fluffier. It was flat, sweet, and covered with sauce. Not bad, just not my favorite. Also, I wasn't sure how I felt about having dill as garnish on pancakes. On salmon, yes. On pancakes? A little odd. Coffee was good but also on the sweet side. The server was sweet and attentive. Went to Lemon Tree Cafe this past weekend and really enjoyed the food! Our server was amazing and kept checking up on us. My friend got the smoked salmon toast which she really enjoyed and said it was super yummy and i tried the Loco Moco. As you walk into this restaurant you can see there is a sign in sheet where my wife and I signed our names down. We waited patiently on the side to have our name called to be seated. Another 2-3 couples came and walk up to the register and were seated without ever signing up. So I guess the signup sheet is just a decoration piece so don't be fooled! After being seated we ordered immediately. A classic burger, fish and chips, 2 matcha lattes and an orange juice. This was at 10:30am. An hour later we finally had some food. (Just the burger, fish and chips were still being made). The server asked us how we wanted our patty cooked and we said well done (for my 3 year old) which you can see in the photo the burger was not well done. I'm not sure it was done at all. When I cut the burger in half it had a putrid smell come from it of raw meat. Needless to say it was. It eaten. The fries were good Fish and chips came an hour 15 mins later they were decent, very greasy though but not many complaints on them. After an hour 15 mins we reminded the server that we never got out matcha lattes or our orange juice. Which took another 15 mins to get, by that time we were about done eating. Staff was mildly attentive. Would give 0 stars if possible. This has to be the worst dining experience I have ever experienced. Wife and I were very excited to try this place out for our anniversary breakfast but will never be going back. Would absolutely not recommend anyone go here unless you have 2 hours of time to wait for some very low tier food. read more

As far as the food goes I would definitely give it an eight out of 10. The breakfast potatoes are huge they are literally like half of a potato cut in half the flavors there because they're definitely covered in herbs and seasonings but you have to cut it up and dice it multiple times to eat a bite size portion of it. The pancakes were pretty basic, what you expect from a breakfast pancake. Any type of toppings is extra they do give you a little side of whip cream and syrup with it when you get it to go. The service was good and the original woman who took our order was very nice she was answering questions. We ordered a cappuccino and the lady that was making the cappuccino unfortunately kept touching her eyes and her eyes were very red so we were kind of concerned about that. We got the loca Moco which was served with vegetables which we thought was very interesting but actually it was a nice touch the portion, to be honest is a little bit on the smaller side although we did share it and then we got a side of potatoes which decided potatoes for us decent portion but the size of the potato they serve is huge. I think it definitely needed a little bit more gravy and a little bit more smothered but overall not bad. I think the food is what is holding this place up and that they have espresso drinks and they're pretty much the only breakfast place inside of Haven city market, which is awesome, and has a get atmosphere however they are very high priced. And by very high priced I mean literally very high priced I know all the prices are going up I know inflation is happening I know the dollar is losing its value but this place is very high price. Also I do remember the food did take a little bit extra time to get to our table. They also do close the earliest I believe it's 3 o'clock maybe two don't quote me on that lol read more

The food was great and it was easily the best eggs benedict dish I've had. The bulgogi had a great flavor and level of sweetness to it, the eggs were runny, and the English muffin was toasted well. I wish there were more red onions and spinach, but it definitely didn't detract from the meal. The potatoes weren't great though - a bit unwieldy in size and underseasoned.
