This Bakery is the BEST Ever!! The coffee first of all is exceptional. Stayed in Angels Camp for a couple weeks and tried to go there every day they were open. Muffins..bomb, banana bread..bomb and the greatest were the lemon filled rolls. OMG!!! Whatever you purchase, you will enjoy and come back for more. Not sure if I can mention a name but I am! Sarah the owner, super nice and the talent and magic behind all of the baked goods. She makes everyone feel welcomed and cared for making the experience extra special. I came in to order with my mom and my registered service dog, and the owner refused to assist me until I could put my dog "outside" because the owner of the business is allergic to dogs. I kept telling her I can't because my dog is my service animal & all she (the owner) kept saying was that she was allergic. So I told her that I will never support her business in the future. It's not only DISCRIMINATION AGAINST PEOPLE WITH SERVICE DOGS/MEDICAL ALERT DOGS. IT'S ALSO AGAINST THE LAW!!! I will be contacting the county office to voice my complaint. read more

While my partner and I didn't try any of the pastries they looked incredible, we had a cappuccino and an iced caramel Macchiato. We are coffee snobs, we plan to open a coffee shop in our own hometown (currently traveling for camping up CA and getting coffee at all the lil shops we can find). The cappuccino was pulled beautifully, just the slightest bit bitter (you either can under or over pull the espresso, depending on which you'll get a sour or bitter shot) but overall it was damn near perfect. Same with the macchiato, usually harder to tell if it was under/over pulled because of the milk but regardless it was just so delicious and damn near perfect, the caramel made it sweet but there's a tone of nuttiness that's all just from the perfect espresso pull. We were camping over at Glory Hole Recreation center and have camped in Calaveras in the past, if we're ever in the area again we will religiously get our coffee here. HIGHLY recommend. read more

Oh my goodness! So glad to have this place so close to where we live! So far we have tried the smoothies, bagels, avocado toast, and cookies. Everything has been absolutely phenomenal. I get breakfast here several times a week. I've never had a better mocha! It's the perfect combination of really good coffee and chocolate syrup, with some chocolate sprinkled on top. This was our first visit to Lemon Tree Bakery and Angels Camp. We wanted coffee and a baked good. The woman with the navy scarf in her head waited on us and she was obviously not in a good mood. She didn't say hello or even smile. We had to repeat our order several times then when she was ringing us up she said she was nervous. She was very rude. Everyone has their own problems but that doesn't mean you should take it out on customers. If you don't like customers perhaps it is better to work in a different field. No more Lemon Tree for us. read more
