Ordered a double espresso macchiato - that's two espressos (small volume, not a full cup) with a small amount of foam. Received a cup almost full to the brim. No. The whole reason for this drink is the tiny volume when I'm on a road trip. The "barista" said they way to order that at Starbucks is to ask for double espresso light milk. What? No. A double espresso macchiato speaks for itself. Light milk? No! No milk! Spoon of foam. Every other Starbucks gets the order right. Lame. read more

I got the Apple crisp oat milk. My first time getting a flavored, specialty drink. I don't like I cold coffee, so I decided what to order by looking at the pictures to see which ones were hot (not knowing that, apparently, many drinks come either hot or iced). It was given to me iced. I don't like to say anything, so I tried it. Yuck. Disgusting. Over $6 and I couldn't finish it. In all my years of drinking coffee (including gas station coffee) this was only the second time I threw it out. I hate wasting money. Pretty good Starbucks one of my regular places and they have always been friendly and good with service, today tho they went above and beyond which is why I'm writing this review, I accidently sent my order to the sonora Starbucks (silly mistake but fully on me) and they completely handled it kindly and not only made my order at this Starbucks but did it free of charge. Just wanted to just a giant THANK YOU that James & I sorry I can't remember the other gentleman's name. We had a flat tire on our 40ft travel trailer 9/7/2024 around noon. It was a 100 degrees plus. We were on Hwy Southbound 99 right before the 47th Ave exit ( if you know the area there is not a lot of room for a full-size truck & a 40ft trailer. Capital City got there super quick they sent 2 trucks for our-safety as well as theirs. They were both very professional. We decided to drive slowly off the highway with their help they followed me with lights flashing to let other vehicles know to slow down so we could change the spare safely. Absolute rude server ignored me for 15 minutes while rinsing out blenders and wiped countertops. The Gal at to go window was cooking with gas. I was waiting just to the left of counter. We came up here for the weekend, so, of course, I put Starbucks on my list as a motivator to go for a morning walk. While I don't review every Starbucks I visit, I wanted to take the time to for this location. Both mornings that I've come in, I've been greeted right away, and my drink and pumpkin bread have been ready. The outdoor seating is spacious and clean, and I've really enjoyed my morning pick me up both days. While I love the convenience and efficiency of Starbucks drive thru locations (especially this one being right off the highway), I was really impressed with how friendly and personable the employees are at this location. Efficient and drive through is so convenient with covid...they make it just as ordered and it is always very hot, which is great because I don't mind waiting ten minutes or so to actually drink it....and when you tell them to go lighter on the chocolate they do along with just a touch of whipped cream....great job! Starbucks is my most favorite place to go to get coffee. It's so good a bit pricey at the end of the month but oh so worth every cup.

Very good Starbucks location! The baristas are all very nice and our drinks came out quickly, despite there being a lot of people. I think they are very well staffed, which can be an issue at some other locations. My nitro cold brew was one of the best I've ever had, so shout out to the barista who made it! read more

I nearly fell off my chair when I heard Starbucks was opening a store in Angels Camp. I went to high school in town, actually it was Altaville, but unless you are a local you probably wouldn't know that. Anyway, there really weren't a lot of places to go for a quick snack unless you were a stoner and liked to hang out in front of the mini mart. Um, I don't think so! I'm not a coffee drinker (shock, I know) but I really like Starbucks' chai tea latte. I also love their banana bread and zucchini bread. Not as good as mom used to make, but pretty darn good none the less. I think Starbucks was really smart to open a store in Angels Camp. They get a lot of tourist traffic and locals too. Great place to stop on your way home from a snow-filled day in the mountains! ;) read more

Sometimes I have them over speaking to me because my order is kinda long, but this girl has very good skills and you don't find that very much last time I came in here that was the biggest problem was the people of the same skills, I think that's my problem. This Sbux (stock ticker) has everything a traveling retiree could want: quality made drinks, the NYTimes, a pair of clean restrooms, outdoor & indoor seating, and helpful staff. As a security bonus the CHP & local cop pop in for their evening coffee before returning to their rounds. This is my 3rd visit to this particular Sbux: 2 inside & 1 drive thru. The music isn't too loud to talk over, which is a problem at Bay Area stores. I'm sure we'll stop in again B4 continuing along CA-49 for our trip. read more

This is an A-OK place to stop for a refreshing beverage after camping in the mountains or at the lake. It is easy to find at the corner of Highway 4 & 49 near CVS. I stopped by this past weekend in 100 degree heat & just wanted something cold & caffeinated for the 2 hour ride home. Everyone was ordering Frappucinos, of course, which seem to take longer than other coffee drinks. The folks who work there are very nice & cheerful. I did seem to wait an awfully long time for my drink, maybe cuz I was parched? When it did come out it was overloaded with cookie crumbles. I guess the cookie crumble shaker exploded on my Frappucino. It was good, but waaay to sweet for me so I ended up only drinking half. It filled me up, cooled me off, & kept me awake so I guess that's all I really needed. Next time I'll order something without all the extra toppings. read more

I really don't like to rate Starbucks Coffee Shops too much these days but this store had something that I had never experienced previously in a Starbucks Coffee shop. Behind the counter is a staff of ladies that are so efficient and friendly that it bears mentioning my fellow yelper's. In the hundreds of Starbucks that I have shopped at over the years, I have yet to find one as special as this store. It was so refreshing to see all of these ladies taking pride in their work while giving every customer in the store excellent service. If you are at all near this store and looking for coffee, do yourself a favor and enjoy a hot cup of Joe here. P.S. The GPS on your smart phone is going to place this store in the wrong location, it's about a mile away from what is states on your screen. Yelp's fault, not your phone. read more
