Copper's Ice Cream & Candy is located inside the Copperopolis Town Square! I stopped in today to grab some coffee before our drive home. While I didn't see much ice cream or candy, they did offer some quick snacks like chips, small dry cereal and sandwiches - plus more. They also offered some yummy looking pastries. I saw a sign for their drink special that was a Crème Brûlée Latte so I decided to go with that. It wasn't really anything special - it tasted the same as it probably would have anywhere else, but I would have liked for it to taste more like coffee, rather than pure sweetness. They had 2 separate areas for sitting and lounging - in the front and in the back where the restroom was. It's a cozy little place and staff were very friendly! Check them out!

No chocolate. No Vanilla. Minimal candy offerings. They have changed their name to Cooper's Java House. The store has been remodeled and looks really good. The service was quick and the staff was friendly.

    Interesting map.

Extremely engaging and efficient service! She was greeting people, pouring coffee, making espresso drinks, serving pastries and ringing up orders. Pleased with the coffee selection--my husband had choice of light or dark for his brewed coffee and I had a great iced latte with my preferred Pacific soy. Also had a tasty apple pastry, like an open topped hand pie. Fun historical decor.

    2 scoops. 1 strawberry, 1 vanilla.

We stopped and got ice cream here when we arrived in town and the employees are really nice, but I'd have to agree with a previous reviewer that the overall ice cream flavor was more sweet than actually flavorful. The strawberry flavor had sliced real strawberries in it but the overall flavor was mild. Surprisingly the vanilla had more flavor. The texture was not bad. Somewhere between creamy and fluffy. Not very dense or rich so you may or may not enjoy it depending on your preferences. Still, it's ice cream and who doesn't like that. We each had two scoops and I couldn't finish mine as the portion was huge, but YMMV.

The ice cream was decent. It however tasted more sweet than flavorful. The Moose tracks had little peanutbutter cups however it tasted of just the little b'cups and not really much of anything else. The Praline Pecan too tasted just very sweet and didn't have much of the caramelised nutty flavour of praline. The staff was nice and friendly.

Place was clean and cute. Coffee and service were the worst. Watered down and tepid. Unfriendly and unwelcoming.

There were long lines after 7pm here and pretty much only one cashier taking orders. While ordering took some time, the food came out within 10-15 minutes, so not too bad. I went with their smashburger, which was decent but didn't have much flavor. I think it needs more salt though. It was the type of burger that will satisfy the craving but not something I'd be rushing back for again and again. I also got some chicken tenders and fries. Fries weren't fresh and low key soggy. The tenders were fine but leaned heavy into the breading vs the chicken. The sauces were solid though. I liked the bbq, buffalo, and honey mustard. For a family of 5, we were able to feed everyone for just under $100, which honestly is not terrible in 2026. The food does what it needs to do to provide some sustenance before or after some gambling in the casino.

What's kinda crazy is that the pricing here feels on-par if not just as expensive as whole foods but since there aren't many options in the area for groceries, it does what it needs to do. Some of our must-haves whenever we shop here are the rock-it apples and their jalapeno cheddar bagels and jalapeno cheddar sandwich rolls. Their hot food is actually pretty solid. You can get a family fried chicken meal for $25 or if you are wing person like myself, the salt and vinegar wings are a solid snack to have at the house. The alcohol is a little bit on the expensive side, but at least the selection is pretty solid. We've come here a lot over the years and it's never super busy. The first thing I needed before exploring was a coffee, because let's be honest, I was hungover. Brown's came to my rescue and put the extra pep in my step that I needed. I ordered a vanilla oatmilk latte and it was creamy and delicious. The gentleman barista of the day was very friendly and answered all the questions I had. One of them being, pecan milk?!
