It's about time I give Ron and Nan's business the 5 *s it well deserves!…read more Ron is very thorough and efficient when it comes to inspecting used cars and I really did appreciate his 2nd opinion when I was car shopping for a used Honda Accord. He does an excellent job! He goes to wherever the car is to look it over in person. He can tell if it has ever been in an accident and where, if there are leaks, if the engine is good, if there are codes, etc. He checks all electronic equipment on the car to make sure it works properly which is just as important as under the hood. The Honda Accord that I had him inspect from a large dealership came back with a clean bill of health! It's nice to know that he highly recommended buying this car and that it should last me for a long while! I agree and I love the way it runs! Thanks Ron!

It is always difficult to buy used vehicles sight-unseen from thousands of miles away, especially older/classic cars that can run the spectrum from mint-clean to disaster despite looking really nice in well-framed photos designed to be flattering. His inspection was incredibly thorough and helped me steer clear of a vehicle that was the total opposite of what I was looking for from a mechanical standpoint. He inspected the vehicle quickly and sent me dozens of his own photos documenting all of the issues he uncovered. I was looking for a vehicle that I could drive, not repair or "work on". I likely would have had to turn around and try to re-sell this vehicle to someone who was looking to restore it- at likely an enormous financial loss. If you're buying a car in the Atlanta area, especially if you are unable to see the vehicle yourself before buying, give them a call. You will have piece of mind and will know exactly what you're getting. I can't thank them enough.

On November 9, 2025, I scheduled an appointment through Instant Car Fix for the replacement of all…read morefour brake pads. The dispatched technician was advertised as a certified mechanic. Upon arrival, the mechanic acknowledged my electronic parking brake and assured me that he possessed the necessary equipment to complete the work. Following the replacement of the brake pads, I discovered that my electronic parking brake was malfunctioning, and my brake pedals were ineffective in stopping my vehicle. I contacted Instant Car Fix, and the representative successfully reached out to the technician responsible for the work. Rashad informed me that the technician would return on the morning of November 10, 2025, to inspect his work and rectify any issues. However, on the following day, the technician failed to appear. A replacement technician was dispatched at 2:30 PM, and the new technician arrived at 5:30 PM. Upon inspection, they identified that the rear driver caliper had been severely damaged and was now inoperable. The technician described the damage as "hammer-like." The new technician informed me that I would need to replace the entire caliper and bleed the brake system. Consequently, due to the unqualified technician who was initially dispatched, my vehicle was inoperable, and I have had to pay out of pocket for damage I did not cause. I contracted a mechanic of my choosing to repair all the damage, and upon completion of the service, I was informed that the brake pads were installed incorrectly, and my brake sensors were left hanging freely. The mechanic who caused the various damage signed the acknowledgment and satisfaction form for me without my knowledge. I was informed by a supervisor that the mechanic was supposed to review the services completed and have me sign before the job can be marked as completed. If you have an issue for whatever reason, don't expect to get a timely response if you get a response at all.

Whole experience: Mini Boss Mobile Mechanic was no joke, George of MBMM is very experienced and I'd recommend him for anyone needing a pre-buy inspection done on a used car. I messaged MBMM about conducting a pre-buy inspection on a car that was out of state for me, that I was considering but wanted to be sure before I spent money on a plane ticket. George's expertise and seriousness made me feel confident I wasn't wasting my time inquiring about the car and potentially flying in to buy the car. He inspected all of the car, and test drove it as well. Afterwards, he included a detailed list of everything that was good and bad about the car, the car's condition based on his examinations, the costs for foreseen fixes, and went above and beyond offering advice on price negotiation based on those foreseen fixes (which was super helpful for a used car buyer like myself). There was a slight schedule mishap where he had to push back the inspection an hour, this didn't affect me nor the owner much and was of little concern due to his prompt availability (George was available on a Saturday morning the day after I Inquired). Ultimately, George concluded it was a good car for what I was wanting it for which made things easy. I would highly recommend him to those looking for a serious, quality inspection on a car.

George did not come nor disclose he was sending someone. We just got a random call from N.C. #. This guy was Chris and we knew nothing about his coming to do the work. Never disclosed until we asked who was this calling about the work we asked you to do. George as very rude & disrespectful person did not handle anything correctly. This guy Chris showed up late, he was rude, broke a tool, left my keys in the car with doors unlocked & parts gone with him for dang near an hour. Had to call George bc his guy didn't answer George made excuse after excuse for this man, so much so it was disgusting. Ao I asked George so it's acceptable for your men to leave a customers keys in an unlocked car without letting them know you gotta run off? George well he texted you! & George felt that was sufficient. These guys are bogus & the 5 stars are total bull crap. They are NOT PROFESSIONAL, They work is Shoddy and Trash! Chris has completely screwed up my whip! DO NOT ALLOW THESE GUYS TO DO ANYTHING ON YOUR CARS. After Chris finished the work I took the car for a spin... all good on surface roads jumped on highway to find out my car is now got a check engine light on, car hesitating won't pick up speed, wont accelerate, riding rough as ever, now car has never performed like this ever! They can def get your set up to have your car towed & have the check engines light come on when replacing the O2 Sensors. I know for a fact they can't do the work bc it was not done right & this isn't a chance you should take.if I could share the recorded call on this review I guarantee NO BODY WOULD DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MINI BOSS BULL CRAP COMPANY... Call them at your own risk, & when they mess your whip up please be reminded of this shared experience. George is rude, he comes off cool as a fan on Initial chat yet say something about the work or performance of his guy & you see that rude, over talking bs come out. This how I found my car with the key to the car left on the seat while Chris was gone for dang near an hour.... We had been loyal customers of Midtown Tire for eight years and always had positive experiences…read moreuntil today. In July, my wife had two new rear tires installed. At that time, Midtown offered an alignment check for an additional $160. We declined, believing it was not necessary. After only about 6,000 miles, while driving my family to visit relatives for Easter, I noticed the steel belts showing on the outside edge of both rear tires. That clearly raised safety concerns, so we brought the car in to understand how brand new tires could fail so quickly. We were told the wheels were out of alignment and that because we declined the alignment check previously, the damage was entirely our responsibility. My issue with this explanation is simple. If alignment is truly critical to the safety and longevity of tires, it should not be positioned as an optional upsell, similar to an air filter during an oil change. Midtown then presented us with a quote of $1,060 for two replacement tires and an alignment. For reference, the same tires installed in July cost $694. The most disappointing part of this experience was the store manager, Jerome. He remained in the back of the shop and communicated through frontline employees rather than speaking with us directly. My interaction with Dakota was professional and positive until Jerome became involved. When I finally spoke with Jerome face to face, there was zero empathy and no willingness to offer any consideration or compromise. His message was blunt. This was 100 percent our fault. For comparison, I called Mavis Tires, who installed the exact same tires and completed the alignment the same day for $849. Had Jerome shown even a basic level of customer care or empathy, we would have stayed with Midtown for service. Unfortunately, that did not happen, and they have lost a long time customer.

I was hoping for a patch job, and that's what I got, with no issues on the tire since. so instead of paying $800 for a new EV tire the bill was around $60. not too shabby!
