Reached out to Mini Boss 2 replace 4 oxygen sensors on a 2008 Lexus GS350 AWD...George said he could do it for 300.00. We agreed. Based on the 5 star reviews on Google. wished I would have checked YELP. I left a 1 star on google and it doesn't even show up!! I know his 5 star reviews are bogus as ever! George did not come nor disclose he was sending someone. We just got a random call from N.C. #. This guy was Chris and we knew nothing about his coming to do the work. Never disclosed until we asked who was this calling about the work we asked you to do. George as very rude & disrespectful person did not handle anything correctly. This guy Chris showed up late, he was rude, broke a tool, left my keys in the car with doors unlocked & parts gone with him for dang near an hour. Had to call George bc his guy didn't answer George made excuse after excuse for this man, so much so it was disgusting. Ao I asked George so it's acceptable for your men to leave a customers keys in an unlocked car without letting them know you gotta run off? George well he texted you! & George felt that was sufficient. These guys are bogus & the 5 stars are total bull crap. They are NOT PROFESSIONAL, They work is Shoddy and Trash! Chris has completely screwed up my whip! DO NOT ALLOW THESE GUYS TO DO ANYTHING ON YOUR CARS. After Chris finished the work I took the car for a spin... all good on surface roads jumped on highway to find out my car is now got a check engine light on, car hesitating won't pick up speed, wont accelerate, riding rough as ever, now car has never performed like this ever! Called George bc the Chris guy ain't answering George immediately starts defending Chris, then starts talking about how old my car is and that it's the parts I bought being rude, disrespectful, & plenty more, then after he said everything but what should have been said I shared that I will leave my experience in review that touch his l petty spirit! "We'll go ahead and do what you have to do" ok I will. If you want your car messed up! If you want to deal with a rude as man who defends the stupid move his employees make then definitely this is your go to. There is no way you have all five stars and get to me and destroy my car, to the point I have to have it towed to the dealership bc the Rude guy George says since I bought the part he's not in a rush to get anything done & he will get to it once he's back in town the following Thursday. I don't trust issh about George or his Mini Boss Team. If you want your car trashed & the owner speaks about how old the car his after his man's mess your whip up then yes give them a call. They can def get your set up to have your car towed & have the check engines light come on when replacing the O2 Sensors. I know for a fact they can't do the work bc it was not done right & this isn't a chance you should take.if I could share the recorded call on this review I guarantee NO BODY WOULD DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MINI BOSS BULL CRAP COMPANY... Call them at your own risk, & when they mess your whip up please be reminded of this shared experience. George is rude, he comes off cool as a fan on Initial chat yet say something about the work or performance of his guy & you see that rude, over talking bs come out. This how I found my car with the key to the car left on the seat while Chris was gone for dang near an hour.... That code & the red circles are all the errors that came up after Chris messed the car up. And when Lexus is done I'll be back with a follow-up & tell y'all exactly what Chris fk'd up. Stay tuned.... Went to Atlanta the other day for my wife to see the Cancer Doc at Emory. We pulled into a parking garage in midtown, as we had no idea where to park. Got to the gate to get our ticket and the radiator blows. This is at 9 am. So we do the doctor thing come back to the car at 12:30 pm. I called Mini Boss, guy told me they could get to me by 4 or so. Sure enough Mr. Lopez showed up and changed out the Radiator in bout and hour and a half. We thought we were good to go, but nope the fans had stopped working. So Mr. Lopez pushing 7 pm went to get the fans, he had them in by 9. My wife had to get home to get her meds, blood thinner. Thanks for your great work and working as hard as ya did to get us back on the road. Made it home just in time for her to take her meds. Expensive, yes. Requested an appointment online at 10am and called George just to make sure I could get my car looked at on the day of. Was told to give address and year/model make of the car then was never given a time of arrival. Was contacted by Gerardo and told that he would be available between 12-2. I contacted Gerardo at 1:45 to see if he was still coming and was told no and that George would take care of it. I contacted George to ask if there would be any ETA on another mechanic and he told me one should be contacting me soon about when they'll show up. Was never contacted by that mechanic. Short summary: MBMM, and George especially, made me feel comfortable on purchasing a used car that was located in Atlanta that I hadn't even drove myself. His inspection, communication, and flexibility gave me the comfort to fly into Atlanta and go forward with the buying process. He also helped overall with knowing what to negotiate too, and he didn't have to! Whole experience: Mini Boss Mobile Mechanic was no joke, George of MBMM is very experienced and I'd recommend him for anyone needing a pre-buy inspection done on a used car. I messaged MBMM about conducting a pre-buy inspection on a car that was out of state for me, that I was considering but wanted to be sure before I spent money on a plane ticket. George's expertise and seriousness made me feel confident I wasn't wasting my time inquiring about the car and potentially flying in to buy the car. He inspected all of the car, and test drove it as well. Afterwards, he included a detailed list of everything that was good and bad about the car, the car's condition based on his examinations, the costs for foreseen fixes, and went above and beyond offering advice on price negotiation based on those foreseen fixes (which was super helpful for a used car buyer like myself). There was a slight schedule mishap where he had to push back the inspection an hour, this didn't affect me nor the owner much and was of little concern due to his prompt availability (George was available on a Saturday morning the day after I Inquired). Ultimately, George concluded it was a good car for what I was wanting it for which made things easy. As an African American I was not happy with my treatment or service received. I was overcharged for a coolant cap I could have put on myself. To top it off he stated stupid people buy used Range Rovers. This after stating he knows what he is doing because he owns several Land Rovers (LMAO). He didn't even bleed the coolant system. I had to pay 175$ to another shop to complete on top of the 275 I paid him to put a missing cap on the coolant hose. I have a camera in front of my house and even told him he is on camera. That didn't stop his rudeness. As a person that owns a used Range Rover( because I want to) I will not use him again! read more
