This is still my preferred location for my annual smog. Excellent service, quick and very efficient. Total is $25, there is a $0.96 non-cash charge. It's a convenient location, right off of North Ave and Highland in the gas station plaza. There's a small outdoor waiting area, a small bench with an umbrella for shade. read more

They were quick and reasonably priced. The employee was very friendly and helpful. I use them every year!

My regular emissions spot closed due to COVID so it's refreshing to have Blue Planet nearby to get those tests done and keep the government happy, lol. I got in-and-out each time in under 5 minutes. they are very efficient and nice in a job that I can imagine is monotonous and lonely. read more

Blue Planet Emissions - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Been visiting this location for 4 years now. Fast, thorough, and professional. Highly recommended.

I used to go to other Emissions Testing places in the city. This has been my go-to for the last several years. Quick and professional. Usually there is no wait. Sometimes there may be a car ahead of you. Have never waited more than 5 minutes for my turn/test. $25 + a $1.00 fee if you pay by credit/debit card. read more

It was a little confusing getting into the drive thru lane because you have to drive through some pumps from the way I came in, and then I got lucky with someone leaving a gap for me on a backed up street that I snuck into on the next green and had enough space. With one person ahead of me, I was there for a total of 8 mins or so. It was only 8 mins from the time I stepped out of my car to getting back in and driving off. I'm new to the GA emissions process and another car had pulled up behind me, but I quickly asked if I needed anything else, and he responded kindly and without any surprise or hesitation. I make it a point to say this because I didn't get the vibe that he was jaded and just going through the motions. He's efficient at what he does, but is still very present and kind. read more

Awesome place to get your emissions test done. The line was long when I got there so I waited for 20 minutes in the drive thru line, but as long as your car doesn't have issues, you're in and out in less than 10 minutes! read more

Came here on a Sunday at 12:20 pm. It's located between Chevron and Buddy's at the corner of North and Highland. It's a drive thru service. I waited 4 minutes for the car in front of me to finish and my car took 5 minutes. The employee was friendly and wore a mask. After my car was done, I paid the state maximum fee ($25) and was on my way. Overall, fast, friendly no frills service. I will use this location again! read more

Always very quick! Can pop in to grab a coffee and a snack and peruse the selection at Buddy's right there while waiting a bit but generally I've never had to wait very long at all! read more

I remember thinking "is this place legit?" as I pulled into the Buddy's lot. My skepticism was transformed into 5 stars pretty quickly though! Blue planet emissions is a small emissions spot on the foot print of Buddy's, ran by a one man team (or at least it was this day). I was looking to get my emissions done for my birthday in June, and several places I visited were bloated and slow. Blue planet emissions will get you in and out in less than 10 minutes for $25. Excellent customer service, clean location, convenient location all add up to a place you should consider when you're getting your emissions taken care of! read more

Quick and easy service that was under 10 minutes. The service Operator was kind and ready to answer any of my questions under a moment's notice. I have passed with a clean bill of health for my car. Thanks Blue Planet Emissions. (Cost $25) read more

This was my first ever emissions test as my car just hit 3 years old, and I previously lived in a state that didn't require them, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This was a drive-thru emissions testing, it took about 5 minutes and I just stepped out of the car while the inspector did his thing. About as quick as filling up a tank of gas! Super easy and painless. Glad I found a good spot to do this yearly! read more

Had my emissions done last weekend! The State of Georgia still has not received information!! Tried to call the office 15+ times ... No Answer!! Not happy!! I have used other places throughout downtown Atlanta and the information is there in a couple of minutes. Won't use this place again!! Negative Star read more

Fast! Cheap?! No clue, but for $25 and in less than 5 minutes you're in and out with an emissions report.

This is the 2nd car I've taken to Blue Planet in the last 30 days and they are super fast, courteous and all-around great. I definitely recommend and will use again next year. No appointment needed and easy to find. read more

Very friendly and nice service. Easy in and out, polite and fast. Please note: they do not take American Express or Discover, only Visa & MasterCard. read more

I was searching on google maps for "emissions" and I saw that this place had 5-star reviews and I thought "Who bothers to review an emissions testing place? You go in, you wait 15 minutes, you get your paper, you pay and you leave. What's to review?" 5 minutes. I didn't even have time to finish reading my email on my phone. Happy birthday to me! read more

This drive up spot delivers a quick, easy and quality service. What more do you need in an emissions shop?

By far the best experience I've had for emissions testing. In and out in five minutes, no wait, and friendly staff. Will be recommending to everyone I know! read more

Alright. I'll admit it. I was a bit skeptical when I saw a 5-star rating for an Emissions office... and especially the one connected to the Buddy's parking lot. Well, I'll reach my hand back into the hair and scramble to eat my words in regards to anything negative I have ever said about this place. It couldn't have been a more seamless, affordable, and friendly experience. I pulled up to the small office just after lunch with no one else waiting to have their vehicle inspected. I stepped out of the car and the very nice woman, Jenny, started immediately. I decided to stay outside and chat with her and she went through the process and she was extremely friendly. Conversational and overtly positive. Again, not at all what I had expected, but so welcomed. It took her less than 10 minutes to get through the entire inspection and she ran my card, I signed, and I was off. The customer service was just the best. She even gave me some pointers on heading off to the Tax Office, should I ever need to (God willing I don't) Since both of our vehicles are 2012, we have to get both inspected. I'm happy to say I'll be taking my wife's car here to have it inspected as well. Glad it's just down the road, too. Happy to have this place in the area and I'll gladly patronize them year after year! read more

Pull into the Buddy's at the Corner of North and Highland, the Emissions guys are in the old Florist building...takes about 5 minutes, just enough time for a King of Pops. They were quick, professional and got my emissions done no problem. They used to be where Yeah! Burger is now, anyone in the Highlands area should use them for a quick Emissions test. read more

Service is fast; pricing is reasonable - what's not to like? My experience has been pleasant enough (for an emissions test) that I've been here for three straight years, out of my four in Atlanta. This year, there was one car ahead of me when I pulled in, and I was still done in about 15 minutes. It's connected to the parking lot of Buddy's and the gas station. You might even get a popsicle from the King of Pops while you're waiting. Just so you know - it does tend to be busier in the first week of the month, but I've never had to wait that long. read more

This was painless. Sat in the car until it was my turn. Took about 5 minutes and was done. Very convenient location.

Great place to go for emissions testing! Stopped by after getting gas. In all, it took less than 5 minutes and cost $25. Man who did our service was very pleasant and personable. Will be coming here from now on. read more

Awesome service. So quick and convenient. Super happy I found Blue Planet from their awesome yelp reviews. $25 and less than ten mins!

Came for an emissions test ($25). Done in 5 minutes! Super fast, pleasant, professional service.

Needed my first GA inspection and this location took care of it fast and professionally. Signage for where to pull for the inspection would be helpful as the arrows that were there did not convey to me where they wanted my car exactly . I went around 11:30am on a Sunday and had no wait. I appreciate the fact they had Sunday hours. read more

Five minutes, no appointment, courteous staff, adorable waiting room. Thank you blue planet emissions
