Terrible experience -- avoid this shop if you care about your car or customer service. I brought my car in for dent repairs and what I got back was a mix of sloppy work, new damage, and a complete lack of accountability. Not only did the shop not fix one of the dents we clearly discussed during the initial quote, but they also returned the car with a new door ding and scratches in the paint that weren't there before. To make matters worse, my car had to stay in their shop for an additional week beyond what they promised. When I finally picked it up, it was throwing "service transmission" error messages, which a mechanic later told me likely resulted from them leaving the car idling for long periods -- something they never disclosed or took responsibility for. When I brought up my concerns about the unfinished work, the scratches, and the transmission warning, the staff was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. No apologies, no explanations -- just attitude. This shop might fix a dent or two, but they clearly don't respect your time, your property, or your trust. Terrible customer service! I took my truck there for some body damage. After they worked on my truck, the back-up camera no longer worked. When I took the truck back to have the camera fixed, they said that it was not related to what they did. I told them that I disagreed since the camera previously worked. They were consistently reliable and responsive from my first phone call at 7am to the day I picked up my beautifully repaired car! They had it ready ahead of schedule. They let me know what to expect step by step and they gave a detailed estimate. (Their estimate was the same as another service I had contacted initially who ghosted me when I asked questions.) I took my car here via statefarm and was told it would be repaired in 1-2 days (minor replacement of a mirror). I dropped it off on a Tuesday and went by that Thursday and the car was still outside not having been worked on. I finally called first thing the next Monday and they told me it wouldn't be done for another day. They called later that day and said it was actually ready. The car looks great and I understand they're busy, but taking 5 days longer than the estimate was very inconvenient. They also left the trunk of my car a mess. They asked if I was dropping off and as soonest I said no their interest on helping dropped to the ground. Someone recommended me to go here since I needed to get a quote. They said they were very friendly and helpful. Guess what, they're not. They told me to wait that I was doing to get down helped so I went out and was waiting for someone to come and do the estimated but instead someone called me even though I was standing outside and they told me that They weren't available at that moment. They told me that the soonest they can see me so I can get an estimated was Friday and I went here on Monday. All my interactions with Kelly's Auto Care have been first rate. Jesse, my first point of contact, was very straight to it and customer service oriented regarding repair on my XFR. They fixed significant damage to the front, driver area which was estimated as a two-week job (fender, tires, bumper) within 4 days via an insurance claim. The end product repair work was immaculate. A week later, I was side swiped by a road-raged driver in the same area of the initial repair. Frustrated, I brought the car back to them. Jesse shared some similar stories of this type of craziness happening to other customers (which helped). They immediately began repair work on the car and within 4 days it was ready, again. Took my car in after I was the victim of a hit and run on Northside. Found these guys through my insurance claims department. Along with the damage from the accident I got a few other scratches/dents fixed up that had accumulated over the years from parking garages, people's doors hitting my car, etc. Awesome job! Got a quick estimate and then it took about a week to get my car fixed up. Well worth the wait as they did amazing. Looks brand new and they even washed/cleaned the inside as well. John and crew have been fantastic keeping our family 2006 prius running for as long as possible over the last few years. but all good things come to an end at some point, and now the prius is in it's final death throws. Took my car in after someone side swiped me and damaged driver side back quarter panel. Super attentive, helped with the rental and returning it, and gave me periodic updates. I expected long delays, that is commonplace nowadays, but I got a call my car was ready within two weeks. I had to ask them to hold my car until I could make it there; wasn't an issue. When I picked up, one of the owners gave me a quick walk around and handed me my keys. They seem to work great with insurance holders. Read a couple other reviews and that was not my experience. Must admit I think more people are having my kind of experience when compared to some of these other reviews. I remember when body shops were shady places where you expected to get ripped off. I had a horrible experience using Kelly's Auto Care. Left my car with them after an accident and even though the damage was relatively minor, they took 2 1/2 weeks to fix it. Then I picked it up and it had 7 new scratches on it! They were rude when I told them that and didn't even offer an apology or explanation, but still offered to fix it. It took them another week to fix it but when I picked it up, they didn't fix all the scratches AND MADE NEW ONES. When I told them, they were extremely rude and accused me of planting the scratches myself! Never have I been treated so horribly as a customer. WARNING!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS BUSINESS!!!! THIS PLACE IS NEGLIGENT AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN REGISTERED WITH THE BBA!!!!! I brought my vehicle to have the front panel fixed. When I brought my car in my tire was going flat. I asked them to fix that also while they have my car. The front desk receptionist (Shane Minko) told me it would be $25, which I agreed to. I come to pick my car up at the scheduled time and I arrive not only to a completely flat tire but also my front end bumper had clearly been damaged!! I brought this up to who I'm guessing is the manager (Bryan Lee) and he completely brushed it off saying "We do not drive customers cars". Clearly the car has to be moved by someone to be taken inside your shop to be fixed. The entrance itself has a huge dip that will scrape your vehicle. He then took a razor to trim the damage off. It was very evident that this is fresh damage. When I asked for something to be done he walked to his desk and refused to handle this issue. The receptionist acted dumbfounded like he doesn't know anything and was not any help at all. When I asked for them to at least fix my tire they refused and told me I would have to pay and wait longer for it to be fixed. I then asked them to at least put air in the tire so I could properly drive to a different shop to get it fixed, which they also refused to do. This place has no concept of guest service, proper care of your vehicle or any cares for the customers!!!! I had to call the police to have a report made of this negligence. While waiting for the police my friend was parked in the back of the shop watching them bring two other cars to the back to be serviced and saw their employees hitting this dip in the ground scraping other cars. read more

I have yet to have a bad experience with Kelly's! I've been going to them since early 2013, and no matter how far I move away from them, I've continued to bring my car there. My first experience was after I had gone to Pep Boys to replace my front brake pads. It was late in the day, so Pep Boys was able to look at my car and give me an estimate but not service it. The estimate gave me a laundry list of repairs that "needed" to be done, totaling close to $800! Kelly's, at the time, was within walking distance of my work. Instead of bringing it back to Pep Boys the next day to have them do everything they listed, I figured I'd try Kelly's out. They called me later to say the car just needed front brake pads... which I knew from the get-go! Pretty much, Pep Boys' $800 estimate was them trying to have one hand in my wallet. Kelly's, just in this instance, had proven that I could trust them to not screw me over, and when you find a mechanic you can trust, you don't let them go! John is usually the one that takes care of me every time bring my car there for jobs big and small. Their team truly is the best, and I wouldn't bring my car anywhere else! read more

I'm with Min Y. on this one - Kelly's is NOT the bidnezz. After hydroplaning a bit on the road and getting into a minor accident, I took "Ron Weasley" into Kelly's to do the job. Mike at the front desk was very nice and helped me with the process of getting the damages estimated. The repair was estimated for 3 day turnaround. In reality, it took about a week and a half to fix a front light and minor bumper damage. To add some salt to my carless wound, when I got my car back, the front driver's door handle was missing. I know - first world problem, but seriously, who breaks a door handle during repairs? One of the managers came out, after noticing my confusion and put the blame on me, saying it came into the shop without a door handle, that he was going to order me another one to be shipped right away, and they were going to bill the repair back to my insurance company. I was pissed and could not understand the absurdity of the situation. I was in a rush to meet some colleagues and didn't have the time to argue my point. Fortunately, the handle came the next day and the repair was done in 30 min. That last visit is the last vist I'll ever make to Kelly's. To underestimate my repairs without notifications on their part plus putting the blame on the customer for their mistake are irresponsible practices of them as a business. read more

Kelly's has wifi, fair prices, good technicians, and does not upsell. I couldn't ask for more! I made an appointment for Friday morning so that a technician could start their day with my car. Sure enough, at 8am sharp I was talking to Sam about all the details of the work I wanted done, and by about noon I had an oil change, a brake system flush, and front and rear brakes (and one headlight) replaced for under $400 including tax. I really liked the consultation process we used to figure out what repairs to do and what repairs not to do. Sam gave me individual prices on each job, ranked them in priority order, and explained when I asked why he ranked them in that order, including a helpful visit to the rack so I could see what he meant. He was happy to help me figure out how to keep the total cost under $400 (my target), which in this case meant skipping just one job that was at the bottom of the priority list. I had a very productive morning sitting in a comfortable chair, hacking away at data on my laptop using their wireless Internet connection (50ms latency, 3Mbps down/0.3Mbps up -- or if you don't speak geek, "a nice fast connection"). And nobody even minded that I stayed a half-hour longer than the repair took just so I could finish up a project I was working on! read more

I had accumulated several upgrade parts for my Truck that I never got around to installing myself. My window motor going out finally prompted me to get all of the work done at once. I'm sure most shops don't love installing parts that weren't bought through them, but Sam at Kelly's Auto happily did the work for me. I had several things to get done and despite some adversity on his end (with his suspension guy falling ill) he got me scheduled and quoted out all of the various things. Sorry, I gotta do it. First off, if it were not for Sam, the lead mechanic at this place, I would give this place -1,000 stars. However, I'm giving it 2 stars simply due to the amazingness that is Sam. He's extremely nice, very knowledgeable, and can explain the problems very clearly and honestly. This dude is totally swamped all day and he still manages to be incredibly nice. It's no wonder that he's always the guy who deals with the customer because he is by far the most knowledgeable, friendly, and most useful guy in this place. That being said, this place is a bit overrated on Yelp and needs to be brought down. I think if Sam randomly quit this place, it would completely fall apart and the business would fail in a month. The rest of the people here are borderline unfriendly, particularly the owner. The service is SLOWWWWWWWW, and I'm stuck watching ABC daytime tv a lot of the time because people in the garage are just standing around doing absolutely nothing (other than Sam). I know that you shouldn't expect car work to be fast in general but i'm talking about little things that should move quickly, they take about 10 times longer than they should. I want to give this place props on at least being relatively honest as far as I can tell in regards to pricing, and doing decent work on the cars. But the terrible terrible customer service and incredible lack of speed on car work has made me officially abandon this place for good. I have a super awesome pimped out '98 Honda Civic (custom rims, lights, etc). And yes, I picked it all out myself; it wasn't the influence of any boy. Anyway, my baby has been very good to me over the past several years, but recently, it has decided to have window issues. A couple of months ago it was the driver's side and then the passenger window got stuck open. It wasn't so pleasant to drive around with an open window when it was snowing. It's a long, boring story which involves a few trips to the shop, but to sum it up, I went to Kelly's and had a very good experience. Sam was really nice. He called me when the parts were available and I was able to stop by and get it fixed at my convenience. And, in the midst of all my window issues, my battery died and they were able to replace it. In both cases, I was in and out extremely quickly and the last time he only charged me for the part and no labor. I am hoping not to have to go back, but if I need to, I would definitely recommend it! read more

When my brakes started squealing, I immediately went to Yelp to see which repair shops the fine people of Atlanta wanted to recommend me. After scanning a few reviews, I decided Kelly's Auto was the place for me, and boy, was I right. I dealt with Sam, a friendly mechanic who patiently took the time over the phone to explain what I needed, what else they would check for, how long it would take and how much it would cost. I'm thrilled to say that it took exactly the amount of time (lightning fast!) and money (more than reasonable!) to fix my issue. He called to tell me what they would do before they started the work and stuck to the estimate he gave when I paid. I was terrified that I'd end up being charged twice what it costs and have to leave my poor Camry at a shop for three days, but it was out in two hours and the job is quality. I got my car towed there (by another company) on a Friday and my car was fixed and ready on Monday. Sam is friendly, he may be hard to reach depending on when you call. It took three days but they replaced the bumper, color matched it to my car, did some detail work and thoroughly cleaned out the inside of my car. My car felt like brand new when I drove off the lot. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I brought my vehicle in for a second opinion on some repairs I wasn't sure I needed. They (I worked directly with John, who is amazing) took the time to really look and see what was going on. And they were honest with me and told me they couldn't find anything wrong. Honest! They even told me to come back a few days later (no charges) to have them look at it again after I had driven my car a bit more and because the other place I went to made me so nervous that my car was going to fall apart. They still didn't see anything when I came back. I was treated with respect, didn't feel like I was getting ripped off and you can tell they enjoy people and making sure they are doing the best job. Shortly thereafter I had to get a tire patched. It was done in 20 minutes and only $18. This is definitely the place I go back to for car issues...but hopefully I won't have anymore for a while! read more

I've had to take my car for minor body work on two different occasions, and both times I used Kelly's, one of State Farm's preferred repair providers. -Kelly's was great about providing me with a quote before I had to sign any paperwork. I knew exactly what needed to be done, how much it would cost, and how much my insurance would cover. -Kelly's always provided an accurate timeline for when the repairs would be completed. I was never left hanging, trying to estimate how long to rent a car. -Kelly's staff was always friendly and professional. -Kelly's body damage work is excellent! You'd never know that my car had any cosmetic work done! The shop has VERY limited parking and is located in a kind of awkward little strip off of Howell Mill, but I never had any major issues getting in and out. There's an Enterprise less than a mile down the street, too, so it's easy to get a rental car by either walking a few blocks or pre-scheduling so Enterprise can pick you up at Kelly's. I'm sold on Kelly's Auto Care. I shopped around Atlanta for a place to have a pretty large dent & scratches fixed on the tailgate of my 4Runner. I pulled into Kelly's when randomly driving by and it was the first place I got an estimate from. After checking a few other shops around town, I realized Kelly's is the real deal. Their quote listed half the time and a rate of about $42/hr for the job that all the other car shops priced the work at $60/hr. Total cost was $497 when I was quoted $875 and up from all the others. I'm impressed with the price. Also, I dropped my 4Runner off on Monday and was told it would take about 3 days to complete the work. I asked that they try to have the work completed by around noon on Thursday so I could grab it during my lunch break. They called Wednesday morning to let me know the work was completed and I could pick up my 4Runner. Not only did the work they did look great (flawless!) but my 4Runner had been cleaned inside and out :) I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable car shop.
