I was referred to Buckhead Collision by the Jaguar dealership for a relatively simple dent repair on my aluminum-bodied car. Since not all places handle aluminum, I trusted the referral. Big mistake. What should've been a straightforward job turned into an absolute nightmare. My car sat in their shop for over three months. I was told, "Just two more weeks," repeatedly--almost like clockwork every couple of weeks, with no real progress or explanation. At one point, I was told the delay was because they needed to install a windshield--a task that should take 15 minutes. That turned into weeks. Then I was told the glass broke and had to be reordered, but they couldn't provide any documentation to support this or anything else the insurance company needed. Now, I'm stuck with a rental car bill because they failed to communicate or supply what's required for my claim. The dent was eventually repaired, but the entire process was completely unprofessional. What's worse: it became clear my car had been sitting idle for weeks, untouched. There's no paper trail, no updates, and no urgency. I feel completely misled. If you value your time, money, and sanity, go somewhere else. Being referred by the Jaguar/Range Rover dealership should mean something--but in this case, it just sent me straight into a mess. I would not take my car to Buckhead Collision again. I have a Tesla Model 3, which needed a new front bumper. Buckhead Collision gave me an estimate to replace the front bumper--$2,583.56--and I was told I would have my car back in a week. Tesla had already given me an estimate that exceeded this one by $600, so I went with Buckhead Collision. Big mistake! Eleven days later, Buckhead Collision called to tell me that they discovered damage underneath the bumper that would cost me an additional $87.79. Would I approve this additional cost? Already annoyed that I was supposed to have my car back four days earlier, I nevertheless agreed to this additional cost. Unfortunately for me, I didn't get my car back for another five days, scraping by with expensive Uber rides whenever I had to go somewhere. Then Buckhead Collision gave me the final bill, which was not $87.79 over the original estimate but rather $305.92 over the original estimate. Buckhead Collision obtained my approval only for the cost of the part, not the additional labor. With the additional cost of Uber rides factored in, I would have saved myself money taking my car to Tesla in the first place. After I got home from Buckhead Collision, I realized that they did not even bother to reattach my vanity plate on my front bumper. I found it laying in the frunk. So I took my car to Tesla Collision Tucker, and they reattached it at no charge. I should have taken my car to Tesla Collision Tucker in the first place. I want to keep this review short, so I won't even summarize the owner's rude behavior toward me when I complained about the escalating cost and time to repair my car. If you own a Tesla, take it to Tesla Collision Tucker. They are decent people. read more

This has to be the worst collision center for Teslas. Even though it is on the approved list of collision centers, my car has sat on the lot for four, almost five days without a charge. It is currently at 18%, and no one seems phased to plug it up, to save my battery. If you are Tesla certified, why wouldn't you at least make sure the car was charged sufficiently? If you are headed to Buckhead Collision on Piedmont Circle 30342 - stop your car!!!! Please read this entire review because it covers several problems with Buckhead Collision at 1900 Piedmont Circle. This is literally the worst business I've ever dealt with. The initial damage to my vehicle was a superficial scrape to an area of the car confined to about twelve square inches - it was an unwelcome gift from a careless driver maneuvering into the parking spot next to my stationary car. Scott Roberson, maybe the manager of Buckhead Collision at 1900 Piedmont Circle, initially told me it was a "routine, few day repair." In each subsequent conversation, Scott Roberson, his nose growing like Pinnochio, extended the time; first to "two weeks," then "twenty days" - in the end, Buckhead Collision at 1900 Piedmont Circle and Pinnochio kept my car for 67 days - to repair a scrape!!!! They will claim delays in getting your car back to you are due to "supply chain issues" but I guess Scott Roberson thought he and I were "buds" because he admitted to me when we were talking face-to-face that Buckhead Collision does unnecessary work to inflate their bills. He wasn't even shy or embarrassed about it! The initial estimate to repair the scrape was $2,000.00 but after Buckhead Collision at 1900 Piedmont Circle got their hands on my car the final bill was $10,000.00 - not kidding! They disassembled a lot of the car even though the damage was in a relatively small area. Buckhead Collision at 1900 Piedmont Circle's workmanship on my car sucked. The bumper they unnecessarily replaced isn't installed correctly - the end of it is sticking out from the rest of the car. Now, I have to take it to a real shop to get it fixed. Next, my car had way more damage to it after I picked it up than when I gave it to them. At pick up there was an array of random scratches, with my car handles suffering the brunt of this damage. My car looked better before I dropped it off. Lastly, when I finally got my car back after 67 days, I found someone else's personal property in the back. I told Scott Pinnochio Roberson and others at Buckhead Collision at 1900 Piedmont Circle and they ignored me - the some other customer's personal stuff is in my garage! What a pathetic business! I would sue Buckhead Collision at 1900 Piedmont Circle and Pinnochio but they are so gross I don't want them near me! read more

A deer decided to impale itself on the side of my car, shops were going to take months to get it even looked at. I talked to Scott, he could get it in his shop and at least get an estimate so I could move forward with insurance. Scott kept me updated throughout the process and was always happy to answer questions, and look at areas I asked as well. I picked up my car and it looks brand new again!! He did such a great job aligning the new hood and new door. There's no uneven gaps or anything wrong with the replacement parts. Doors and hoods are very hard to align and seat properly so kudos to them for getting it right! I will definitely be back if I ever have any other body work or paint work. My insurance company suggested I use this place and it was a terrible mistake. I had damage to both sides of my vehicle and they quoted me 5-6 days to get fixed. After 8 days they call me to tell me they totally forgot about the other side and would need it for another 3-4 days (which actually was 7). So that's more rental money that I had to pay for and they didn't seem to care at all. Weren't apologetic and didn't even offer to cover that extra time in the rental since it was their fault. I asked if they could at least do a percentage off of the deductible which they said no to. So basically they put their customers out from their own mistakes and show zero sympathy nor try to work with the customer to make the issue better. The vehicle was taken there Afterhours and I had a driver show up prior to them even arriving the next day to pick up the vehicle. They charged me 947.00 to get my car out. 500 tow/75 lot fee/300 admin fee/72 covid fee. THESE GUYS ARE TERRIBLE. Please stay away from this company at all costs. I called the tow company to ask how much the tow was, and they told me the cost was $225. They jacked the cost 4x just for the car landing in there lot that day. She separated the bumper from the chassis and the owner (I presume) was nice enough to come out, look at it, understand I didn't want to spend alot of money until I knew if this was going to be a regular occurrence and used his hands to knock things back into acceptable condition FOR FREE! Having a bad experience here. From the very start I was talked down to borderline disrespectful. Voiced my concerns with the tone of the conversation. Got my vehicle back after waiting over a month. After driving for almost a week noticed that I didn't have rear lights. They had me bring car in after a heated conversation where I expressed that my safety was of great concern riding around with no back lights. I was charged for things that were supposed to be covered. Would never allow this to happen to me again. This was Recommended by AAA, now I'm starting to question them taking care of there customers as well. I was spoiled in San Diego, having a different experience here in Georgia. When I picked up my vehicle I was impressed with the quality of work, and the fact it was a lot cleaner that I'd left them. On Friday March 10, 2022 I was instructed by my insurance company that there was an availability to drop off my vehicle for repair at Buckhead Collision. Since I'm a USAA customer, Buckhead Collision is one of their preferred body shops so I figured that everything would proceed without a hitch. I called the previous day (Thursday) to confirm that I would still be dropping off my vehicle and picking up my rental. The lady that normally answers the phone (who always has an attitude for whatever reason) would not provide me with her name, rudely stated "yes you are still scheduled to dropped of your vehicle". I walked through the door on Friday and spoke with the manager Scott, which is the person I dealt with for the estimate. Scott was speaking with a customer already, I was patience and could have waited, however he did acknowledge that I was there and politely placed the customer on hold, which was very much appreciated. Scott said hello sir how can I help you, I replied and stated that I am here to dropped off a vehicle. Scott then asked that you are here to dropped off a vehicle on a Friday? I said yes that is what I was instructed to do and I did call yesterday to confirm. Before Scott could say anything else, this same rude lady aforementioned, start screaming from the back saying "yes you called to confirm and you did speak with me but we are not ready to receive your vehicle". Understand, I cannot see her face yet because as I stated she started yelling from the back, but her voice becomes louder as she makes her way to the front and comes from behind the glass. I replied "so help me understand, I called to confirm which you are acknowledging but you still state that you are not ready to receive my vehicle, that does make any sense at all.? I am now face to face with her, and she has one of the angriest facial expressions that I have ever seen and tells me, "well you can take you vehicle somewhere else because we do not need YOUR KIND OF BUSINESS ANYWAY. I had to pause for a min and try to process what she had just uttered out of her mouth. I then asked, what do you mean "my kind of business", you mean because I am black? Of course, she is a white lady and I didn't know any other way to take what she said. She then rolled her eyes and went to the back. The entire time this is going on, the manager Scott is standing right there; so, I'm not sure if she is related to the owners or just the usually white privilege that made her so comfortable saying this to a customer. However, she was very comfortable doing so and seemed to not have a care in the world that anything would be done about her behavior. So I ask Scott the manager, " why would he allow one of his employees to talk to a customer in such a way; he replied well you were combative with her". I then stated now I have a problem with you Scott, (as white privilege would have it), he is taking up for her horrible and extremely unprofessional behavior. I asked him to please explain at what point was I combative, belligerent, or any other synonyms he would like to use to defend their horrible customer service to me. Was it at the point I asked a very valid questions as to why would you all have me driving across town to dropped off my vehicle and not being ready to receive it, because any customer with the least amount of common sense would pose that same question? He didn't have a response besides having a passive aggressive attitude. I then ask, not that its ok during any time to treat a customer this way but in the middle of a pandemic, can you all afford to just treat customer this way and turn away business. He just looked at me with an expression as if he could care less and was ready for me to leave. Needless to say, after waiting about a month for this body shop to get my vehicle in, I now have to wait for another body shop to take my vehicle. There is no way in hell I would give Buckhead Collision any of my business, this interaction was not acceptable. I would not recommend this body shop to anyone. I'm also reporting this to USAA since this is a preferred shop through them so they can submit feedback as well. read more

I took my car to Buckhead Collision for an estimate to fix damage caused when an automated gate closed while I was exiting. I had black paint from the gate all down one side of my car and the right rear view mirror was hanging from the housing. I already had one estimate for $750.00 so I was somewhat shocked when Buckhead wanted $2,275.00 to do the same job. They said I needed 4 hours of buffing, minor body work, a new mirror and some repainting. Next I went to Kong's Body Shop on Cheshire Bridge, where the owner showed me all I needed to do was wipe off the black painted with a rag dipped in Paint thinner. He removed all of the paint in less than one minute. Next he snapped my mirror back in place, told me No Charge and sent me on the way. I feel certain that Buckhead Collision would have done the same thing except they would have kept my car for several days and charged me $2,275.00. These guys are ripoff artists. Buckhead Collision had recently worked on my 2012 VW Passat after being in a car accident (not my fault!). There was significant damage to the drivers side wheel, axel, front quarter panel and tire, estimated damage just above $3k. The team there worked efficiently and gave updates through the various stages of repair. A good indicator of a reliable body shop is the cars they are currently working on. From Mercedes Benz to Range Rovers to BMW's to American cars, they had them all. If they were working on a bunch of clunkers, I would have been cautious. The shop is clean and I would return! I've been to Buckhead Collision several times in the past (like 7-10 years ago) for accidents with no issues- HOWEVER- I recently had to take my car in to have it repaired after a minor accident- someone rear ended me. The bumper had to be repaired. It took about three days and I picked up the car and noticed that there was a 1" long gouge on part of the bumper. I brought it back in to have them fix it. And they told me they needed the car early in the week so they would have enough time. I thought they would have to repaint the bumper so was thinking they would need another three days to paint/dry etc. They called me the end of the day I dropped it off and told me that the car would be ready the following morning. I was actually shocked that it didn't take as long this time. My husband picked up the car and they sent him home with a bottle of touch up paint. I did not know why they did that until I saw the car. They had taken the touch up paint and painted over the gouge to fix. And we found paint inside the car in the driver's seat and steering wheel too! The adjuster told me they didn't match paint well and also didn't line the bumper up right with the rest of the car. Brought my car there in Feb 2015. I have had an horrible experience with these folks.They were to fix my bumper but couldn't get the sensors to work properly and blamed it on an aftermarket bumper which was untrue. The bumper was the original Infinity bumper.Infinity told them they had put the sensors in incorrectly and needed to reimburse me for the expense of having Infinity correct their mistake.They refused to take any responsibility. I recently had some damage to the front end of my truck and have passbook head collision many many times in the past so I decided to bring it in there for repair. I could not be any more satisfied with the excellent work that they performed on my truck. It looks like I just took it out of the show room. They repair the damage and even clean my truck for me which was an extra perk. If I could give them more than five stars I would. Their customer service beginning with Scott was excellent. When Hertz failed to pick me up at their location he actually got me an Uber to get me to work. He's pleasant and great to work with and took ownership of things that I did not need to handle. I do not know where to begin. I came here to get my 2004 4-Runner repaired after getting rear-ended at a stop light. I had gone to another body shop before and got my car fixed and everything looked good until after a couple of days into driving, I noticed that there was a strange noise coming from the rear of my car when I accelerated and braked. I went back to the same shop and they told me everything was ok. I started to get suspicious so I came to Buckhead Collision. I told them about everything that happened and they wrote me a quick estimate and told me to leave my car there to see what was wrong. I got a call only a couple HOURS later. This was already good news to me as I thought it would take them at least a day to get back to me. To my amazement, I was told that there was significant damage behind the bumper where you cannot see until you remove it. Can you believe it?! The other shop (I'm not going to say it's name) simply placed a new bumper on my car without fixing the damage underneath!!! James was the one who called me and told me it would be around $3000 dollars. I was sort of shocked by this price so I asked him why it would be so much. He told me that the frame and suspension of the car was damaged. I was still a little hesitant so he offered me to come in to the shop to take me back to where the repairs take place and show me exactly what was damaged and what was needed to get it fixed right. I went in the very next day and Noman (the owner) who was also extremely friendly and straight forward brought me back, and with one of the bodymen, and explained everything to me. After that I felt extremely confident and let them repair my car. They told me it would take a week, but was happy when I got a call after 4 days saying my car was ready. I came to pick up my car and it was cleaner than I had ever seen and the back bumper looked like new. Noman even showed me underneath the car and showed that all the damage was replaced. As an added bonus, they even buffed out a couple of scratches I had on the side of my car!!!! A few days later and no noises from the rear of my car! I am just so so happy with the customer service here and the quality of work they do. I WILL be recommending these guys to everyone I know.
