Still unable to charge iPad Pro. The technician plugged in his charge port diagnostic device and showed it was normal. And had current draw. The iPad was able to charge using his cables and power blocks. No fee was charged for that service. Service was quick and friendly. I still got home and was unable to charge my iPad Pro with my existing blocks, but using one of the same cables it seems to charge when connected to my MacBook. So maybe it has something to do with software communication or the usb c controller

I searched issues and solutions. Despite my backups, reset attempts and iOS trust, my phone went black. Twelve hours later, I could feel all my missed calls vibrating under a black screen. A simple phone fix search led me to a small zoned-for-business house on Second St. in Laurel. Even though they were about to close, they fixed my phone and we chatted at their prompting. I didn't want to part with my greenbacks. But the price was less than the last time I had an issue several years ago. And the service was friendly and extremely competent. I later found out that these items/services were grossly overpriced and that I was cheated by the man at this kiosk. I was chaged $60 to change the battery in my iPhone 6 (this was not even an Apple brand battery) when it should have cost $45 or less, I was charged $25 for a iPhone 6 case when this should have cost less then $5 and I was charged $30 (yes $30!) for a charging cord (that wasn't even an Apple brand cord) that should have cost less than $3. The man at the kiosk has manipulative selling tactics and he refused to give me a refund for the cable and case even after I pointed out how he charged me 10x the price for some of the items. Please do not visit this kiosk. I wish someone had warned me. This kiosk does not have their prices listed and this man charges people whatever he wants. Also, the service was below average. There are many other places, and honest places, that offer these services. Beware!

So they took it home and didn't want to use it for a few days till they get a screen protector and cover for it. So as soon as they started using it the phone is extremely slow and doesn't allow network ( might be stolen or locked). The phone had a minor scratch on the screen. So they went to the dude and told them they should just trash it because the motherboard is damaged due to the minor scratch. Like what?? I will upload a picture of the scratch. Since when does a phone motherboard get damaged because of a small scratch? He told them he guarantees it'll work if the motherboard is replaced. See now it all makes sense! He sold them a phone with a damaged motherboard and now suggest they replace it at their own cost. Currently working with Federal trade commissioner do scam and guess what? It's not the first time!
