Honestly I took my date to this mall just so I could visit the Lego store. I told her we should go to Rainforest Cafe for lunch but I really wanted to buy some new Lego. I saved the store for last to not make it obvious. Acting surprised to see the store we walked in and were greeted by a friendly big smile. As we walked I noticed the shelves were well stocked and clean. I found it very easy to shop. At checkout they helped me locate my VIP account by email so I didn't miss out on some points. I purchased a small reasonably priced set for my date and I to do together. The Lego Store is located inside the Ontario Mills. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a welcome and the store is packed full of Lego toys and displays. My kids, hubby and I always enjoy looking around. We came in to purchase a set that is only sold at Lego store or their website and walked out with more. Ha! My only gripe is the store is always very loud. I had inquired what the sign for a sensory bag was. Apparently they have noise canceling ear phones you can borrow if you or a loved one need them to make the shopping experience a little easier on the ears. I have yet to come for a kids event, but hopefully one day I'll be lucky enough to find one and bring my kids. read more

We took our children to a Make and Take event this weekend. We arrived within the advertised time frame, but were told that they had run out of materials. This event has been held many times, and I believe the organizers should have enough experience to anticipate the required amount of materials. A simple "Sorry, we've run out" is not enough to compensate for a child's disappointment. I am very disappointed. read more

Absolute joke of customer service in this store. I bought a set online a month ago from Lego and bring it to this store completely sealed with receipt and this joke of a manager Jordan says sorry there's nothing we can do. Even after I explain I'm about to spend more money in his store he just says nothing he can do they can't take a return. Why this store would put such an immature and inexperienced in retail in charge of this store. I will never be going back to this Lego as I've called the next closest Lego store, explained my situation and told me they'd happily take it in. Now that's a manager who knows how to run a store. As soon as you walk in they approach you very menacing and tell you to keep your children with you, right as you step in. My kids are always next to me , why in the heck would a Lego employee tell me how to watch my kids! Clearance section in the back. Constant flow of real fans and "meh, these toys are too expensive" folks. They *can* be expensive if you don't know to shop like McDreamee, but imposters are no match to the LEGO brand. It must be said that LEGO products are highly underrated in STEM education. Went to this location recently to pickup a cool Ninjago Lego. Me and my fiancée were greeted by the employees and treated with kindness, respect and care. They don't hover over you while you shop. Occasionally they'll ask if you need assistance which is always much appreciated. The manager Dolores is very kind and helpful. As well as Sam, one of the employees. It's a Lego store and while we came here for a surprise for my girlfriends granddaughter. Lets be honest us grown ups enjoy it just as much. This Lego store is great. It's large and clean. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful without being over bearing. The child unit played among the other kids for a bit on their ample play stations. They have lots of kits put together in cases so you can see what the finished product will be, which is nice for the more expensive kits because I'd hate to splash out 100.00+ for a lego kit thinking it was going to look one way, then turn out totally different. We came, we saw, we played, and bought. The VIP card gives a 1 point for $1, and when you reach 100 points (which is pretty easy to do at the Lego Store), you'll receive a $5 off. There are also discounts on any sets with damaged boxes, and they occasionally have sales. I live over an hour from this store. I called to see if they had a set I had been looking for and they did. They would not let me buy over the phone, they would not ship it to me and they wouldn't hold it for two hours so I knew it would be there when I arrived. I asked to speak to the manager and the woman I was speaking to said the manager was too busy to talk to me. I asked if there was a good time to call and she said no, she is always busy. If I could give the Lego Store more than 5 stars, I would! Here's the scoop why... A very close friend of mines little boy (6 years old) recently went back to CHOC for a relapse of Leukemia. My husband and I went to see him, and bring him some very cool Legos. He was so excited, but when I found out that he was going to be confined to his hospital room for the next 12 days, we were heartbroken. His Mom told us that all he wanted was the Lego catalog to keep him occupied. He can read that thing over and over again. Since we were headed to Disneyland, we thought to check the store there, but they were out. We called the Ontario location, and spoke to the manager. I didn't get his name, but he said he would hold one for me until the morning. Next morning, we went to pick it up, and not only did he have the catalog in there, but also bunches of Legos too. What a sweet and thoughtful gesture from someone who didn't know me or my little buddy. I cannot express how thankful I am for the thoughtfulness and generosity of the manager that I spoke to.
