Completely ridiculous! Came here to support restaurants opening back up again and get an expected 30 minute wait. I stand outside, watching about 6 different groups arrive after me, go talk to the manager whom they know by name, and get bumped to the front of the line. After waiting 45 minutes, I go to check on our status in line and the hostess tells me, "We had some unexpected backups. It'll be another 30 minutes." I wanted to say, "Oh, unless more of your manager's friends show up." but I decided to just walk away. Apparently, they have so many regulars that they don't need my money. So if you aren't a regular or a personal friend of the managers, my suggestion is to go elsewhere. read more

Legends Sports Bar was established in 1979 by former Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Dennis Harrah and local businessman John Morris. I've been a loyal customer since then. Their combined indoor/outdoor open air establishment was one of the first I ever visited. And it's a perfect way for foot traffic outside to take a peak at what's happening inside. Great food. Dozens of TV are well displayed for your sports watching needs. Great upstairs that is neatly tucked away from the crowds bellow. Family friendly (meaning kids). Can get quite rowdy depending on teams playing that weekend. Noise level high. Prices are fair for such a typical restaurant/sports bars. Cash and CC accepted. Very sports-bar-esque. Plenty of seating, plenty of TVS, but nothing extraordinary. Been here quite a bit in the past years at night or during the day for lunch, but I am not sure why I return. LOL The staff isn't that friendly, the food and drinks aren't that great and they are quite overpriced. On my latest visit, the computer system was down, so we were unable to pay by card until it was running again. So after 20 minutes had passed, the waitress (which was apologetic) told us that she wasn't sure when the computers would be up and running, so she would have to write down our debit card info and charge it later if we didn't want to wait! Seriously!? I don't want to sit here any longer than I have to and I definitely don't want my debit card information floating around on a piece of paper in a sports bar. My friend decided to leave her card info, so we could leave, but the management offered no consolation for the inconvenience. It was a Saturday wasted. read more

Came here for breakfast and enjoyed their mimosas. They no longer have bottomless mimosas but it's $4 a bottle with juice if you order breakfast. In my opinion I think it's a better deal! I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was the right ratio of egg potatoes and cheese. My mom ordered an English muffin in the side and it tasted so good. I was there last night with a friend & was uncomfortable because some creepy guy kept grabbing me, wanting to dance, & just wouldn't let me go when I wanted to get away from him. When I finally got away one of the bouncers came up to me and asked is he was bothering me and if I was okay. I told him what had happened and he reassured me if I'm ever in an uncomfortable situation to just look for one of the bouncers, give them the look, & they'll know what to do from there. He later escorted the guy out. I'm not too sure what the name of the bouncer who helped me but I'm so appreciative of what he did & I was honestly stunned how on top of things the security are!! This bar was our first stop on while barhopping on a Saturday night. It's a pretty big sports bar with plenty of TV's around. We initially sat down at a downstairs table, but a server told us (a bit rudely too) to move & that it was limited to parties of 4 only. There's also an upstairs balcony area you can try and find a seat in. Otherwise you might be forced to stand & crowd around the main bar area. Now I know bars & clubs are supposed to be pretty loud when it comes to music, but imagine trying to have a conversation with someone while wearing earbuds & blasting music at full volume. That's how I felt when every time I tried to talk with my friend who was sitting only 2 feet away. In addition, despite making it to the top of the main bar with barely anyone around us ordering, the bartender still took 10 minutes to notice us. The jack & coke and a whisky sour we bought totaled $16.00 though so that was cool. Overall it was mediocre experience which could be good for a one-night thing, but I doubt I will be coming here again, willingly at least. I needed a place for 50 - 60+ people for a reunion of the DCH Emergency Room (and ancillary departments) that I worked in at the start of my career 40+ years ago. Matt and John were outstanding to work with and more than phenomenal at staying within our budget of $25 per person. They provided Tri-tip and pulled pork sliders, chicken tenders, wings, flatbreads, and a whole lot more! We had MORE than enough for all the people. We used their Sky Box upstairs, which is PERFECT for this type of event. Lots of tables and room to mingle, along with your own bar and servers! You only pay for whatever foods you plan or order and get a GREAT atmosphere, TV's, and sound equipment all included with no other fees attached! I've been coming here for a few year and it never misses, this is me and my fiancés favorite spot for sports events. They tend to get crowded so when we come we make sure to come early enough to beat the crowd. Fight nights are insane here but they are well worth it. Despite the crowd they give you beyond impeccable service which I enjoy. You'll never be bored here and you honestly never see the same thing twice! They have several signed jerseys as well as multiple televisions playing different games. If you have a man who enjoys sports and good food and a nice iced cold beer than this is the place for you! I always get them at the Huntington Beach location (it's my go to) ... they were way smaller than the hb location. $10 for 4 sticks here is not worth it. Drinks are priced okay. There's TV screens at every corner of the bar so there's no way you can miss it. There's a big selection of food from the menu; your typical traditional American food. For appetizers, we ordered mac n cheese and spinach artichoke dip (my favorite dip in the word). The appetizers were so good and was really excited for my order to come. I ordered the tuna salad. I was originally going to get it with ranch but thought that it'd be too plain so I decided to go with the ginger dressing. The ginger dressing complimented with the tuna. The service was great. Came here after dinner for a quick drink. Location is off 2nd Street in Long Beach. This bar had lots of TVs and one huge big screen tv which you can't miss. This is a two level place which upstairs is the restaurant and the downstairs the bar. One thing I liked about this place was the sports memorabilia of pro sports players uniforms that were all from my Alma Mater Cal State Long Beach. Nice bar for a drink and kickback and watch a game. The only downside is parking if you're lucky to get a street spot if not there are lots around but pay attention to the signs and meters good thing we went on a Sunday after 7pm so meters weren't enforced. read more
