I rented an RV from Northwest Recreational on July 13th 2021. As it was very warm day, we used the…read moregenerator to operate the roof top air conditioning. The generator quit and would not restart 45 minutes into the trip. A call to the NW Recreational and Cruise America yielded no help unless we journeyed to a repair place the following day hours away from where we were located in the Idaho Panhandle. In addition, the unit was not clean, in extremely poor condition and maintenance. The toilet smelled horrible and was almost not useable. The lack of a generator prevented the remote camping we intended for our week of rental. While driving, the front end vibrated and the windshield wipers were worthless when we encountered rain. Further, the refrigerator froze everything and ruined some of our food. Northwest Recreational was not helpful with our problems whatsoever. They pointed the finger at Cruise America and Cruise America pointed the finger at Northwest Recreational. With no resolution on our issues from either party's part, we are left with disputing the rental charges thru our bankcard. On our day of returning the unit, we were charged two additional small amounts that Northwest Recreational had not clue what the charges were for and said they could not reverse the charges. Bizarre, yes. Northwest Recreational is extremely difficult to deal with. I would highly recommend not doing business with Northwest Recreational.

But their service department... ...the absolute worst. Not only did they lie directly to me about when they could get my new boat repaired, they lied about working on it for an entire week (looking at you Cessna). And when I was finally passed up to Josh,their service manager, I learned this was actually a top down issue. He said, & I quote, " I'm not going to apologize for my employee lying to you. You would have received that kind of service (being lied to) from any local shop." The only thing I could think is this guy must be some kind of DEI hire.... Moral of the story, take your boat ANYWHERE else. Hopes and prayers that Josh gets the therapy he needs to start caring about Tobler's service department customers again.

After this service, we had repeated episodes of the boat not starting. We took it back to them to look at and they told us that they could not find anything wrong with the boat and that it started fine for them. So, we now have a boat that continues to not start for us and we are looking for a different marine service company that can do a better job.

After spending over $25,000.00 in extensive repairs to our…read more31ft boat, we got our boat back and the windlass (electronic anchor system), and fresh water system no longer worked. They forgot to re-connect the main power line to the windlass which I found and fixed myself. Then we were told we needed a new fresh water pump. I took another look myself. In fact they had knocked the main water inlet fitting loose which caused an air lock in the pump. I fixed that myself too by purging the system. We don't need a new pump! We were never provided with an original work order estimate. After all the work was done we received a difficult to read report which was sparsely itemized. We had to return the boat so many times, it was embarassing! One of the original things they were supposed to fix and never did was oil in the bilge. We still have oil in the bilge! I had asked the owner if he would meet with my wife and me. He ignored our request for two weeks. Finally, he had someone from the office call to tell us that they were not going work on our boat any more! There is much much more to this story! We cannot recommend this company!
