The generator quit and would not restart 45 minutes into the trip. A call to the NW Recreational and Cruise America yielded no help unless we journeyed to a repair place the following day hours away from where we were located in the Idaho Panhandle. In addition, the unit was not clean, in extremely poor condition and maintenance. The toilet smelled horrible and was almost not useable. The lack of a generator prevented the remote camping we intended for our week of rental. While driving, the front end vibrated and the windshield wipers were worthless when we encountered rain. Further, the refrigerator froze everything and ruined some of our food. Northwest Recreational was not helpful with our problems whatsoever. They pointed the finger at Cruise America and Cruise America pointed the finger at Northwest Recreational. With no resolution on our issues from either party's part, we are left with disputing the rental charges thru our bankcard. On our day of returning the unit, we were charged two additional small amounts that Northwest Recreational had not clue what the charges were for and said they could not reverse the charges. Bizarre, yes. Northwest Recreational is extremely difficult to deal with. I would highly recommend not doing business with Northwest Recreational.

What followed was an absolute nightmare. The short version: * Massive delays, broken promises, and total lack of communication * Boat was promised by March -- work didn't even start until well after * First set of motors were "lost," requiring a second order * Paint job was done incorrectly -- twice * Lied about successful water test -- boat took on water the moment it was launched * Drain plug left out during attempted fix * Stereo system was stolen under LPM's care, and they didn't inform us -- only admitted it when we noticed it on the lake * Replaced high-end amp with used, low-quality junk * Canvas storage cover returned with a 3'x4' hole * Engines were never properly tuned and continued throwing codes * Demanded full payment for an unfinished and poorly executed job * Three years later, we're still dealing with issues from their work To make matters worse, Chad (the owner) is dishonest, evasive, and unqualified when it comes to tuning or performance diagnostics. He talks a big game but clearly lacks the expertise. Worst of all, he treats customers like a nuisance once he's been paid. Avoid Legend Performance Marine and any business associated with Chad. They cost us time, money, and trust. There are better -- and more honest -- options out there.

I have had upholstery done for many projects before so I can spot excellent work. of the work I saw done the corners were done perfectly , channeling is done perfectly... I had a terrible experience with an upholsterer in town who ruined an heirloom chair and then charge me $700 for it. The reason I recommend this shop is the owner was patient and answered my questions was polite and forthcoming. They are so busy they're booked out by months but when I'm ready to have work done again this will be my choice.
