Since I'm not a proficient aluminum worker, this was totally worth the convenience. When I aired up the trailer tires in early spring, they both went flat for no reason. Recently purchased a new sf 212 pontoon . The process was fairly quick and easy. I interacted with 4 personnel. All were very thorough in explanation. Their chief technician Walked us through all the mechanical aspects Of the boat with friendly jokes that left a lasting impression of what to expect and new features I would be Un aware of. Their logistics team Member made sure the boat was clean and all the factory shipping defects were gone removing All the tape glue ect. He also went over all the trailer hook up of the boat with us. Their clerical team member made sure all The paper work went smooth and was all in order from bow to stern of the boat. The owner was patient and directed me to a good Finance institution . Where I ended up getting 1% Financing . Keeping a significant amount in my bank account . My experience was pleasant. While I didn't get a bottle of Champagne to brake on the bow and Some cheeses for the maiden voyage . They Did install some extra add ons such as fish finder Ect in record time and got us out on the lake for our first run . I tried (unsuccessfully) to buy a fishing kayak from The Elephant Boys in Spokane Valley. I live about 45 minutes away but was willing to make the trek to save a couple hundred bucks on the kayak I wanted. Unfortunately, the staff at Elephant Boys demonstrated they were disinterested in my business. First let me state: I'm a firm believer in not wasting a salesman's time. Whether I'm shopping for a pair of shoes or a fishing kayak, I let the sales' staff know whether I'm just "kickin' tires" or I'm ready to buy. Oddly, in both circumstances, the sales staff treated me like something between nonexistent and an inconvenience. After doing my research on fishing kayaks, I visited the Elephant Boys to see their inventory. They seemed to have fair prices on their kayaks, so I visited a second time to narrow my search. On each occasion, numerous salesmen did nothing more than stare at their smartphone screens and/or eat their lunch at the counter. I excused this behavior as, "No big deal. It's a low sales-pressure environment. That's cool." Sadly, this indifference towards customers trends way deeper at Elephant Boys. Prior to making my third visit, where I intended on buying a $1,000 Ocean Kayak plus numerous accessories, I called the shop. I was looking to confirm a particular feature of the kayak and needed nothing more than a picture of the boat texted to me. The flippant salesman on the phone stated he was likely way too busy to do this. I was shocked, as I was looking for about 30 seconds of his time to close the deal. He stated he would "try" to do this and predictably, the text and photo never arrived. In my experience, to successfully shop at Elephant Boys, you have to accept being treated like an inconvenience by the sales staff. For me, I'm looking to spend my hard-earned dollars at a place that is interested in my business and is looking to start the relationship of boat shop/boat owner in a proper fashion. I don't write reviews as a matter of fact this is the first. This review is a little late but for some reason I just thought it was time to bring it up. I purchased a new Rh pro v 16 from them a few years ago. I Searched for a long time to find this particular boat . I live in southern Idaho and couldn't find any close dealers so I traveled to Spokane to buy this boat from them. I had a lot of conversations over the phone about this boat before I bought it. They were friendly and full of information. I have no regrets about this boat its exactly what I wanted. I also purchased a bunch of accessories including trolling motor, fish finder and a bunch of other stuff from them including some pretty expensive Scotty rod holder mounts that were specific for RH boats. After some time I decided I wanted two more of these mounts and couldn't find them anywhere except at Elephant Boys. I called and tried to buy them and have them shipped to me. No go from Elephant Boys. They couldn't be Put out to ship them to me. I ended up taking a trip to get them and regretted it every since. Long story I know but The point is Elephant Boys Loves their customers until the check clears and that's it. I also had a minor problem with motor Called them. They didn't even want to talk to me had to take it to a reputable local boat shop. No service after the sale. I wouldn't recommend Elephant Boys read more

Was excited to come check out the showroom with my daughter. Came in from CDA, looking for a large kayak. We walked in and stood about ten feet inside the door just looking around to get an idea of the layout. No greeting. No big deal. We walked into the showroom, looked at both kayaks and pontoons, covered every corner of the showroom over a period of twenty minutes. We watched the other people get greeted. Not a single word to us. I'm in sales, and have been in sales management for 15 years. Which brings two things up: - I can comfortably write a check for anything in that showroom if I so desired - Not even greeting customers is a great way to end up out of business, and an offense that is fireable in more than one of the businesses I've worked at. Poor process, though, is usually a reflection of poor management I shop local for just about everything. It's a shame to have to cross a business off my list. Anyone can make money in a boom. Regarding COVID-19 and local businesses... "The Backbone of America." I bought a fishing kayak from The General Store - a locally owned staple here in Spokane - on Monday. After a couple of days of camping and kayaking at Bridgeport State Park, I got a small crack in the stern of the boat. I repaired it with some gasket sealer, and then I set about looking for a trolly so I can hand-cart my kayak down to the water. I was driving down Sprague, saw the store by chance, forgetting that they even existed (especially with the White Elephant going out of business), and I decided to pull in and see if they had what I needed. Neither Ace nor Harbor Freight had anything that would have worked, so I thought, "If anyone's gonna have something for me, it'll be these guys." So then I go inside. At first, I thought, "Oh my goodness! This place is awesome!" They seemed to have good prices and a lot of cool stuff. Then came the bullshit. I'm wearing a face mask (because I'm a rational human being who believes in science and the basic rules of fucking reality). I ask the guy behind the counter (who I only realized later on wasn't wearing a mask) if he might have what I'm looking for. He shook his head at first and said something like, "Nope. We don't have any left and we can't get any. There's nobody anywhere that has 'em. We've tried all of our suppliers and none of them have anyway... You know, you can't shut the country down for months and then expect to have things be on the trucks." Yada... Yada... Yada... It's at this point that I realize the guy's not wearing a mask. I say, "Oh well, I guess I'll just MacGyver something." And proceed to walk out. Before I hit the door, ol' I'm-to-old-and-stubborn-and-stupid-to-trust-doctors says, "Well, we do have one model over there in the window but it's pretty high end." I looked over and saw what I was looking for. I did not, however, investigate further. I walked out the door into a parking lot infested with compensation wagons (F250 and above, or Chevy/Ram equivalent), and noticed plenty of other unmasked morons with MAGA hats on. Then I went home, got on my laptop, went to walmart.com, and ordered exactly what I was looking for for around $40. (Amazon also had several models for a little bit more money, so I went with the cheaper of two evils). It'll be here Wednesday. But yeah, "Nobody can get any of them anywhere. Nobody has em." The moral of this sordid tale: I am ABSOLUTELY SICK of local business owners blaming their own failures on COVID and yet doing NOTHING to prevent the spread of it. I will never spend a cent at Elephant Boys. Which sucks, because the irony is - I'd rather drive up to 50 miles out of the way to buy something if it meant I didn't have to get it at WalMart. But in this case, your bullshit ignorance forced my hand. You want your "freedom" back? Then suck it up like your grandparents did in World War II. Those tough sons of bitches - the ones who didn't go to war - went through rationing, buying war bonds, and all kinds of other shit to strike down a global threat - and you're too much of a coward to wear a fucking mask?! they built my trailer wrong when I got my boat trailer combo and when my boat was damaged because of there craftsmanship they acted like it was my fault and not there's ...they literally kicked me out of the store for just asking to fix my boat ...I had to fix the holes in bottom of my boat myself and every time I drive by that store I just get sick to my stomach ...i suggest going elsewhere...and from the other reviews I see it looks like others have had issues with this place read more

My favorite boat shop in town for anything from floats to supplies for your boat. I did my first ever oil change on my moms boat and they helped me get the supplies I needed and the steps to get it done quickly. They need to update the address though because I had to call for directions. read more

Called 5 times yesterday morning from 9am to 11am to reach the parts counter. 4/5 times the phone was answered by an insanely rude lady. Wouldn't give me the time of day, was really short with me and would hang up before the conversation was even over. I needed to know if a part was in stock before I headed an hour over to the valley. She gave me the biggest BS excuses as to why the parts counter isn't available. I planned on possibly pulling the trigger on a new outboard while I was there. NOT NOW!! I don't care about her ridiculous excuses explaining why they were to busy to help me. I own a business and no one is EVER "too busy to help". HIRE MORE PEOPLE EMPLOYEES! The owner of this business is dishonest and they should be boycotted !! We spent over $200 for an inflatable inner tube to pull behind our indoor-outdoor ski boat. After a zipper on the inner tube broke during our very 1st use on the lake, we attempted to take the product back to Elephant Boys to exchange for a different one. On our sales receipt, it was clearly written, "No Refunds, Exchanges Gladly Accepted", but the owner refused to honor that and was extremely rude and defensive, eventually ordering us to leave the store. He claimed that we were responsible for the malfunction, even though we had followed the instructions which came with the inner tube. Fortunately, when we approached the manufacturer of the defective tube, they readily acknowledged their liability and sent us a brand new replacement inner tube. WE WILL NEVER SET FOOT INSIDE THIS DISHONEST ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN and encourage everyone to not belief what the receipt may promise. read more
