My husband bought me a gift card for my birthday because this place was the closest salon to our house. I'll admit that I was hesitant to come in based on the reviews, but my experience today was wonderful! I Had made an appointment earlier in the day and got a regular pedicure with gel polish. I thought that the service was wonderful, and even when I said I just wanted the basic pedicure, my tech did not try to upsell me or make me feel bad for not getting one of the higher end services, which I appreciated! I think the paint job is great and the overall look of the salon was clean and welcoming! I will definitely be back and hope that my next visit is as good as this one! read more

Very efficient and friendly service! I walked in and requested a gel manicure. They were busy but able to seat me right away. My nail tech was talkative and respectful. He wasn't pushy and gave me a wonderful manicure. He took his time with my cuticles and the shaping of my nails. The facility was well decorated and very clean. read more

Tl;dr as a nail girlie this place used to be my fave but it's kind of a chop shop now :( I have been doing my own nails (gel polish and extensions) and pedicures since 2011 and from 2017 until now (2025) this used to be the ONLY walk-in place I'd trust to do a good enough job when I didn't have time to do my own. Ive tried others but was underwhelmed. So great my friends and I would all come for the most expensive pedicure package for each of us whenever one of us had a birthday!! Not anymore :( the last time I had a gel polish manicure here earlier to treat myself during a very busy time in 2025, the gel was sloppy and lumpy, flooded into my cuticle, spots were missed with topcoat so there were fuzzy spots when I touched black clothing... I ended up wearing them for 2 days then redoing them myself bc I couldn't stand looking at them. $50+ of public school teacher dollars down the drain. Literally the reason I started doing my own nails in the first place. But everyone has a bad day right?? So my friends and I recently went for an aforementioned bday pedicure. This is why we're never coming back unfortunately. Again, I do my own very nice detailed gel pedicures at home so if I'm paying a *professional* who does nails *all day every day* to do them, they should do ~*better*~ than I do at home. I asked for a lavender deep French on my toes. I got a very very SKINNY French (not what I wanted at all AND it was uneven) complete with lumpy application and flooded cuticles ( which is how you get contact dermatitis!!!), PLUS areas were missed with topcoat. So embarrassing I didn't even take a pic lol My friends both got solid colors that were lumpy and flooded cuticles too. I always tip 20-25% as a moral principle and I'm kinda mad I did this time. I miss the old service here like we miss old Kanye lol The vibes are pretty decent though. There's always a fun old rom com playing, it's always a nice temp inside, the staff is nice, and they always give you water (: read more

Linda and Jessie were excellent! My friend and I dropped in on Saturday afternoon before Mother's Day. One regular and one gel. Done quickly and perfectly! 5 stars to both of them. Thank you. read more

Not happy, I had a manicure gel lasted less than a week. I went back and was very uncomfortable with The Who did it? Idk! Really I haven't come here that often and it was very uncomfortable. I won't go back didn't think it was that great. I just liked that i could just walk in. Nope I'm done read more

I went to get a gel manicure with my grandma and cousin. I can say it was very quick, but unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. She took my nails really short, left gel bits around my cuticles and on my skin, the application is not even, and my grandmas thumb nails look completely different from each other. Being a first time customer it is very clear they just care about speed and not customer service or the outcome of the nails. Pricey for a bare minimum job. read more

This is such a beautiful salon for anyone to visit. I have always had a great experience at Legacy Nail and Spa. When I walk into the salon, I'm always greeted with a smile. The salon always smells good and clean. The environment is classy and sheikh. I have never had a bad experience. My favorite person is Tracy!! She is the best!! I absolutely love Tracy. She is super talented. My favorite thing about her is her positive attitude towards me. She is always kind and nice. I love bringing my daughter with and her friends to this salon as well. They always enjoy themselves. The pricing is super fare and comparable to other high end salons. This is a great place to enjoy a relaxing morning or afternoon - date night - girl time or birthday party. Can't wait for my next visit to Legacy Nail and Spa! read more

Just went to this place for the first time. I told the lady I had a broken nail and asked if I could get a tip put on, the guy next to her said "we can do powder for it." So I told her I wanted that. She started painting my nails and there was no powder. I asked "are you going to do the dip powder for my one broken nail?" She looked confused, but then smiled and nodded. She started painting the broken nail and I asked again about the powder. Again, she smiled and nodded. I reminded her that the gentleman recommended powder, she looked at him, smiled at me, and then continued painting. She finished the nails and did not ever touch the powder. After paying, I left a tip and she asked "are you going to tip me?" And I told her I already did. Anyways, the nails look freaking terrible. Attached are some pictures. I'm going to call and ask if they can redo them. Update: I went back in and Tracy fixed them and absolutely made it up to me and made my nails look amazing. Also the two gentlemen that work here were very kind and helpful. Updating from 1 star to 4 for the three of them. read more

I agree with everyone that the service goes quick (mani/pedi is less than 1 hour by the same person)- I guess I am used to more of a massage when you pay a bit more. But, the place was clean, the mani/pedi was done fine, nothing great, I was able to walk-in. In a pinch, I'd go back. read more

they are all so kind in here and do such an amazing job !! 100% recommend them !! They do exactly what you like to !

I can to this nail salon to treat myself - as I am a nail technician and don't get to do this very often. A day after I got my nails done they started chipping and started to break. I noticed the hard gel was very thin - literally looked like there was just polish, not an added enhancement. I work We'd to Saturday & leave work after 7 so I couldn't come in on my work days since they close then. I went back in on Monday (week after they were done) explained the situation and was told that I picked the tips off - which isn't true. They literally were breaking off. I asked if I could have a refund because I wasn't impressed with the work that had been done - considering it started coming off the day after. Long story short - they said they don't offer refunds but would fix them. Definitely will not be going back and letting anyone I know to steer clear of Legacy nails and spa. read more

Save your money. I've visited this nail spa a few times, and each visit has disappointed me slightly. The last straw was when I went in for a full set and specifically asked if it could be done with hard gel. Instead, the technician haphazardly glued on the nails and heavily applied acrylic. I told him that I wanted the nails to look natural and showed him a picture for reference. He merely replied that it was "clear" and left the raw fake nail showing. When I asked for it to be fixed, he responded with an attitude as if I had done something wrong. I will never be going back to this place. read more

He painted my cuticles with gel polish. They looked horrible and I asked him fix it. He took a nail file and cut my cuticle. Then got a grinder out and fixed a couple. He said I needed to pay him 61 dollars! I never even was told that this was the cost. He never cleaned my toenails as a normal pedicure would be. I told him I was unhappy still and he said too bad I redo it. My toe burns from the file cutting it so I said no and left paying him 50. This place is terrible read more

This is NOT like me to give a 1 star review but wow, what a well deserved 1 star this experience was. Talk about terrible customer service and a terrible pedicure. I went with a girlfriend who made our appointment for Friday at 3:30. We showed up right on time and they lead us to our booths in the back. Holy cow, I can handle hot water, like the hottest of the hot, but this scalded my feet so I had to ask for cold water to be added. A guy came over to work on my feet (not sure of his name), he took my polish off, cut half of my entire nail off my big right toe I nearly screamed, did a couple minutes of painful buffing, then he put the toe separators on and started to paint my nails! I was done in 10 minutes and my girlfriend was still having a nice scrub, lotion rub down, cuticle cutting treatment, etc. We chose the same pedicure option, the only difference was she got the gel and I got the regular polish. When we went to pay my girlfriend asked the two women up front how much it is for just a polish change and the owner/manager went totally berserk. She started screaming at us asking if we wanted to see the video footage as she was looking at her phone tapping and scrolling, telling us that she has a camera recording at all times that watches all the services. We were like OMG, it's fine we were just asking because that's all he did for me and why should I pay for a 10 minute polish change when it was supposed to be at least a 30 minute pedicure. Total rip and the worst $31 I ever spent on nail polish. As Fleetwood Mac would say, I'm never going back again. read more

Oof, tough time in Reno. Not all experiences can be good, and this was one of them. Coming from Cali, this beautiful Nail Salon was one my wifey was hopeful for. Arriving on time w our appointment, we had in mind what my wifey wanted: we even showed the nail specialist the exact picture of the pink nails that were desired. First off, the whole experience was nearly 2 hours Long wait just for a manicure. Secondly, they weren't even done the way we wanted it. We were promised w them, but got a different result of nails. Wish we could've left happy, but the desired result wasn't met. 2 stars for the nice customer service and the cleanliness of the location during COVID 19 tho read more

Legacy Nails and Spa - Not the desired nails we asked for, but it was an ok job - Nail Salons Near Me - Reno, Nevada

This used time be my go to nail salon for years not sure why the quality has decreased a ton but now they rush everything and I end up having to come back to get something fixed every time I've come the last year(they rush it so much you don't get much time to look at your nail's closely)!! They don't even put lotion or anything on after a manicure!! I called and asked to come and get my flowers fixed since the lady rushed them and barely even let me look at my nail. On the phone they were nice and said they could get me in immediately before I left for a trip and when I get there I got attitude from the lady who did my nails saying noting needed fixed. Then had to wait over 45 minutes to get my design fixed!! That's all I wanted was the ugly lazy flowers off my nails!! The only other guy there was the one who ended up fixing it and he did so much better I appreciate him fixing them! read more

I went in for a gel overlay, they did an acrylic overlay, I could have stopped her but was like ok whatever, I have short nails and she (Jaimie) left so much acrylic under my nails on my skin, then I just asked for a French and there's white on he pink part of my nail. Sloppiest nail job I've have ever received. Came home and took them off! I only came here because my awesome nail tech is on maternity leave, will not be coming here again and do not recommend at all! Great location shitty service! read more

I'm really torn about this salon. The nail artist was kind and my nails look nice ,and the price is pretty standard. But they go so fast and because she was watching the tv and looking out the window instead of at my hands she clipped me a few times with different files and tools, it was kind of painful. She also put on a disposable plastic glove that had clearly been worn to for many manicures with dried polish and holes on the fingers. I don't think I will be going back at the risk of getting an infection. A 45$ manicure plus a 10$ tip I would think they could afford a new 5 cent glove. read more

This is a HORRIBLE place. As someone who never writes reviews people need to know about this. I went to this place 3 times hoping that maybe it was just a bad day. First 2 times getting my nails done the nails lasted 1 week. This time I came in for a pedicure and they gave me gel polish (like i asked) and DIDNT cure it. This is unacceptable behavior. Let alone they charged me 45 dollars!! I am in uprage. Never again will I be going here again. Dont waste your money read more

Charged me $72 for a pedicure!!!! Never have I ever paid that much for a pedicure and it was not a good one. He missed several steps and the bottom of my feet are still rough. I had a friend in town who wanted a pedicure so we decided to check out Legacy Nails. We called in the late afternoon for a 10am appt the next day, and luckily they were able accommodate both of us. I received a regular deluxe spa pedicure and he a gel deluxe spa pedicure. My nail tech was great. He was friendly, made small conversation, and was efficient. Services lasted a out 30 mins. Since it's my birthday week I thought I'd start off with a treat to myself, a manicure! I went to this place as I've gone here before for pedicures and always had great experiences. I got in as a walk-in and sat with Maya. She asked how I was and got right to business. No small talk which was ok by me. She did a little filing and cuticles then a quick rub on my hands and arms with some lotion then told me to wash my hands in the back. She ran hot water, gave me a small brush and pointed out the towels. Self service, not very personal. I went back to her desk and she asked me to pay first so not to ruin my nails afterwards. I paid her $5 tip in cash. She quickly applied two layers of polish noting she liked the pink color then added clear quickly then told me to dry under the dryer ten minutes. She didn't come back so when I thought it was about ten minutes and my nails felt dry I left. I went shopping in the shopping center for about a half hour then was ready to go home when I looked at my nails and noticed bubbling on all the nails but mainly the thumbs. I decided I had to go back to have them fixed. I showed Maya and she said "oh not dry" and proceeded to apply more polish and clear over the bubbles! She told me to dry ten more minutes and left me again. I waited until it was ten minutes or more and looked for her to check my nails. Another girl helped me to get her. I told her they were still bubbly and couldn't she take off the polish and redo them. She talked to the other girl and then got a different clear and put two coats on and said it was the clear. I then had to dry my nails under the gel dryer and she told me to push the button on top when it went off! Then she left again. By this time I was not happy. I paid $30 and now a lot of my time sitting there. I got up to leave and said they're still not right and showed her when she came over. She didn't offer to redo them so I just left. They are very busy and as I said I've had good experience with pedicures but today, fail and I doubt I'll go back. I dinged a nail after I got home as with so many layers on it obviously didn't dry!! So much for my birthday mani. :( read more
