We were recommended Love That Door by our neighbor who had recently purchased a beautiful custom…read moredoor. We were told their doors and professionalism was top notch. It took about 5 months for our door to be completed and installed. The door is indeed beautiful but at the time of purchase, we were unsure between midnight or midnight with copper color (both included at no charge) and were told we could always add the copper after the door was installed at no charge when we could make a better decision. So after installation, we decided do a light copper edging. The painter was told not to do it and we were told there would be a charge but they did not know how much they'll charge. I tried reaching out by phone, email, and text. It has been about a month and still no response regarding finishing the door. Everything was great up to this point. I do not feel that I should be nickeled and dimed for something that was included at the time of purchase then ignored after making such a large purchase. Extremely disappointed.

Our experience with scheduling, sales, price, installation, and follow up, could not have been better. We also were impressed that this company is based here in the DFW area and family-owned. After reading strong reviews, I contacted Alex to see whether he could replace sun‑damaged windows…read moreand to request an estimate. He immediately asked for a photo without gathering any details about the windows. I explained that the damage wouldn't show in a picture, but he insisted that photo‑based estimates are his standard process, with in‑person measurements only after agreeing to the estimate. This process felt impersonal and did not inspire confidence. While this may work for some customers, it did not meet my expectations for a service provider. I decided to look for a company that offers a more reassuring initial assessment.

From the start, I was very excited about Pella windows being our selected installer for our living…read moreroom project. We had asked for pricing on all windows, but due to pricing, ended up starting with just our living room, which has French doors leading to the backyard and 5 additional windows. Our sales representative took a very long time to pitch to us (4 hours), his technology did not function so there were delays, and then he got some of the quote wrong. This resulted in a 4-week delay on top of already long lead times due to supply chain issues. As a result, we asked for a 10% decrease in the price. When we finally got the doors and windows installed, I was not impressed with their attention to detail. The caulking around the door frame was sloppy, requiring additional cost to fix the paint, and there was still dust/grime on the windows. Moreover, there are splotches of paint on our carpet surrounding the worksite that won't come out and eventually will need to be replaced. For the price, we are not impressed, although the quality of the windows themselves seems very good.
