Keep in mind, though, the windows are built to order, so it was a month after we first met with Rhonda that the installers came. Our original contract included a glass-opening feature. During the process, Mika created revised work orders that removed that feature without our knowledge. When the door was installed, it did not include what we had originally agreed to. When we raised the issue with the owners, instead of working with us toward a solution, they threatened to place a lien on our home because we withheld a portion of the payment due to the installation not matching the contract. Even more concerning, we were told that if we did not pay the full amount, our house could be vandalized. That type of response was shocking and completely unprofessional. For the amount of money spent, the customer service was unacceptable. They showed zero interest in resolving the issue or making us feel like valued customers. Ironically, the door itself gets a lot of compliments. Seven or eight families who have visited our home have asked for the company name because they liked the look of it and were considering something similar. Unfortunately, after sharing our experience, we told them we could not recommend doing business with this company.

It took weeks to set up a service call to repair the repair. As the day aproached a dear friend died. We tried several times a day to reach someone to reschedule - no luck. Left lots of messages. They called in the middle of the funeral wanting to know why no one was home. The service tech patched on place on the door - the most obvious one and didn't repair the other places. More weeks to set up another service call. Sure enough an other person milestone ended up on the day. So, the wife stayed home and missed the event. No one showed up. No one called to say they couldn't make it. Just left her there all day when she really wanted to be at the event. There is literally nothing that would let us recommend this company.

I had two hardwood doors that had been painted over on the outside that I wanted to be stripped…read moreback to the hardwood and re-stained. This was a pretty challenging job. I got several bids, and even though Dallas Door Refinishing was the highest (not way over, but they were high) - I decided to go with them as they still use a strong, gel based paint remover. Misty and her crew arrived on time, did the work, and I was very pleased with the final results. Even in places where the wood was damaged / embedded with primer paint in the pores that could not be fully removed, they got it sanded down as close as possible and used a darker gel based stain to blend in with the overall new stain. It all worked out great in the end. I recommend these folks to anybody looking to get their doors done right. Now for small ding, and this has nothing to do with the actual work itself. I do wish Misty and her crew would wear masks to protect themselves against the fumes of the paint remover, the dust from sanding, and the fumes from the new stains and protecting overcoats. All work was done outside in the open air, so that helps - but of course they are working in close contact with the door surface. I am sure they are pro's and know what they are doing... but if its me, I'm wearing a respirator.

Blue star called me and gave me a quote for $360, he explained that most businesses use the camera recalibration as an excuse to up charge and that he wouldn't be disconnecting any wires when replacing my windshield. I was a bit skeptical at first, I was worried I would have to go get my camera recalibrated. (I have a 2022 Honda Accord). It's been 2 and a half weeks since I had it replaced and I've had no issues, camera still works just as good! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative than giving your money to the dealerships.
