I have been coming here for over a year and I love Nico's and Margaret's classes. They have a consistent schedule and Nico is usually teaching every morning. The 7:10am class and 9:30am class are full of energy from the members to the music. Everyone is super friendly and if you go at the same time everyday the faces become very familiar. It is a class where you partner up with someone but it's not as nerve-wracking as it sounds. People are either there to have a great time/workout or simply to get in & out, but no one judges or has been impatient in my entire experience. They push you to do better and when you're done it's the most rewarding feeling. The classes hardly get easier, but the first class is probably the hardest. I definitely recommend it if you don't like going to the gym alone. There are strength days focused on heavy weight movements and machines, conditioning days that have a lot of cardio and light weights, and performance which is agility and athletic training.

Hands down, best gym I've ever been to. The trainers are phenomenal and will push you to achieve great potential. They will help you reach your goals and by always making sure to have the best form. The PIT (partner interval training) helps you push yourself even harder with the help and support of your partner! If you're looking for a gym, this is it!

The definition of family is Legacy Fit! I'm not a workout person and what I really liked about this gym is how you are able to work with a partner that holds you accountable. NIKKI and Peyton are beasts! If you are consistent, you can really see the results within weeks. They are also there to instruct you every step of the way. The location is great and members/staff are very welcoming! I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone. They also have classes at any time of the day which makes it more flexible for you to be able to get your workout in. In addition, they hold events for members which I think it's pretty cool for making long term relationships. Legacy Fit Fan 4 life

Legacy has a great way of keeping you motivated, consistent, and determined to reach and actually KEEP your goals. The Partner Interval Training (PIT) approach really helps those who find it hard to come back to the gym. So, if you're one of those people in need of a push... this is the place! Moreover, the trainers are awesome. FULL of ENERGY & themselves motivated to watch YOU grow. Place is clean and classes are organized. It's not just a gym, it's a family.

"Must provide written notification 60 days prior to my cancelation date AND pay a fee equal to 2 months of payment membership dues"

READ THE CONTRACT - SHARK LIKE INITIATION TACTICS TWO MONTH PENALTY FEE + 60 Day notice (another two months) + Forfeiture of Last Month's Deposit (Paid at Initiation) Excessively high cancelation charges, which they fail to tell you about. I specifically asked if I could cancel anytime, knowing I was only going to be able to attend the gym for a certain period of time. Ultimately, the cancelation fee is 5 months if you cancel within the first 12 months. The contract reads per the below "I understand that if I wish to cancel I must provide written notification sixty (60) days prior to my cancelation date and pay a fee equal to two (2) months of payment membership dues. I also understand that failure to complete my training does not affect my obligation to pay such dues in full." In addition, last month's payment was paid upfront, which was also kept. The workout is great and so are the trainers. If you plan on attending for more than a year I recommend the gym as the workouts are great. Just be careful of sneaky initiation tactics.

Tough gym!!! LOVED IT. Kicked my butt up and down, side to side, ALL over that gym. This gym brings the intensity all around. Music is great really gets you pumped and into the mood to get that workout we all deserve. Each class begins with a good warmup for about 5-7 minutes to get that heart beat up. Once that's done you go over to the board to see what the plan is for that day. The instructions are very clear and they will be demonstrating each exercise for you at the start. Once they go over it they will pair you up with another person in the class and that will be your partner for the remainder of the session. So they do a HITT workout with a partner. So Two minutes straight on each station with a 20 second rest but more like a 20 second rotation time. It really does get that pump you want between the water bags (boxing), the sleds in the middle of the floor, the machine weights or free weights you truly get the best all around workout no matter what class. They truly live and breath their NoDaysOff mentality! They do have showers and a decent locker room for you to change and get ready for work. They are in a prime location in coral gables, the parking isn't the best but once you find it your good to go! They offer pricing and various options for any clientele. From drop in pricing to month-to-month and others to help you achieve your fitness goal.

Kickboxing and boxing have always been something on my bucket list. I never got around to it for…read moreseveral reasons, time, school, work, etc. but after having gone through something quite harrowing and challenging , I though it was the perfect time to jump on the boxing bandwagon. Times are changing and people are becoming more unhinged and you have to be your own advocate as nobody else will. That being said... On my hunt for self-defense classes in Miami, I had come across a few options but weren't really what I was looking for. This Tapout location has been by my house for a few years now and I never thought to try it out until recently. I realized how crucial it is for women to be able to learn how to stand their ground and defend themselves especially if they encounter a threatening situation. Now, the classes aren't necessarily geared towards that but you will learn how to jab, cross, hook, and roundhouse which is sufficient for me. That being said, I took a free class to see if I would like it and I did! It was a Tapout Fusion class. They have different types of classes each with a different dynamic. So far I have taken Tapout Sweat, Tapout Fusion, Power Pilates, and Tapout Strong. Each class is set up differently. You don't spar with anyone. It's you against you and a large punching bag as well as pads set up along a wall. They also have other workout items like kettlebells, dumbbells, TRX bands, and Airdyne bikes. I have yet to try the bikes out but they look pretty cool. I have taken classes with two instructors, Kellie and Calvin and they are amazing. They don't make you feel out of place or intimidated in any way. They support you, guide you, and coach you through each set or movement. Also, they really know their stuff. I particularly enjoy Kellie's class because it's empowering to try a sport that's very male dominated...(yes women box too and they do UFC fighting and WWE)but it's not often you come across a female fighter. The only one I know or have heard of is Ronda Rousey so being taught and led by a female teacher knowledgeable in those techniques makes me feel like it's possible for me to be strong and hit just as hard as a man would. It's like the best kind of motivation. I'm all about women empowerment and am proud that I've taken steps to make myself and my body stronger. The gym itself is very clean. There is ample space to workout. They also sanitize everything after. You can rent boxing gloves if you need to though I recommend bringing your own. There are also lockers in the back as well as changing rooms. They are pretty diligent about getting you to come back after that first free class which is understandable. I worked at a gym and did sales myself briefly so the membership component and acquiring members is at the forefront and a goal of any operation that's built off of memberships. I was contacted several times via phone but I was a good lead lol because I genuinely planned on signing up. It was just a matter of time, work, and scheduling. I didn't want to sign up for something I would not have time for. What attracted me to signing up was the cost, the location, and my urge to learn self-defense and keep the momentum going that I acquired while taking classes at the other facility I went to for a bit. They have classes all day and each class is set up differently so it's not repetitive or boring. It's a new workout regimen every time so you can tell they plan out the classes well. Most Importantly, they make you feel welcomed. There are people of all shapes and sizes and levels. Me being a beginner I didn't know what to expect though after having an introduction to boxing at FDT, I kind of had an idea of what I was in for. There is something so satisfying about hitting a punching bag. I'm not a violent or aggressive person, but it just feels so empowering and is a big confidence booster and stress reliever. I highly encourage you to try it out for yourself. And it's nice they mix up the workouts with strength training and interval training...that it's not all about boxing. I'm still trying to get comfortable on the TRX bands because they can be tricky but I know they will benefit me in the long run. The trainers come up with cool, innovative ways to use them and they will guide you on how to use them effectively. All in all, signing up and working out at Tapout was a good move for me. I have met some really nice people, not their for an ego boost but actually just workout for the sake to workout out and better themselves and I've gotten stronger along the way so thank you Tapout. I'm glad I finally decided to stop by:)

The workout itself was great, but the experience was disappointing. The instructor gave no welcome or guidance--just told us to get on the machines. Directions were often based on local references (e.g., "face Brickell"), and when we weren't facing the right way, they repeated, "Again, you're facing Brickell." Obviously, as visitors, we had no idea where that was. Despite this, we gave it another shot the next day with our full group ( as we booked it weeks before ). We left early but got stuck in Miami traffic due to a bridge delay, arriving three minutes before class. Even after calling ahead, we were turned away because new students must arrive five minutes early--no offer to reschedule, just a blunt refusal. If this is their protocol, then they probably should have enforced it the day before when we also arrived late. I'm grateful they didn't, but the inconsistency is frustrating when you expect one thing and are then told there are strict rules. While we did get a refund, the lack of hospitality stood out compared to everywhere else we visited in Miami.
