I never thought I would leave a negative review, but this experience definitely deserves one. I signed up about a month and a half ago and had no issues until this past week. During a typical workout, I was exercising alone at what turned out to be a double station. When I finished, I realized it was a shared setup. I assumed the next person would simply use the other side so I could complete my final exercise. Instead, a woman approached me in a very aggressive tone and demanded that I move so she could use the station I was on. I calmly explained that I only needed one more exercise and then the machine would be all hers. She refused and began calling me names, repeatedly saying, "You're always a bitch," while calling the trainer, Karen, over for backup. I stayed where I was because I had done nothing wrong. The woman eventually moved to the other station, but she aggressively pushed the machine in anger. I then explained to Karen that this behavior was completely out of line and that there was no reason for me to be disrespected or spoken to in such a hostile way. Unfortunately, Karen minimized the situation, saying it wasn't a big deal and that she didn't want this happening in her class. She suggested we just move on. I felt the situation was being brushed aside, possibly because she has known the other two women longer than she has known me. During my conversation with Karen, the other woman's workout partner, Tania, approached and began insulting me. I told her I was not speaking to her, and she responded, "You don't know me, you need to be careful." I perceived that as a threat. At that point, I informed Karen that I would be filing a police report. Again, she minimized the situation and told me not to do it onsite, adding, "I'm not your parent, I can't tell you what to do." When someone makes statements like that during an argument, it should not be taken lightly. As staff, Karen should have handled the situation professionally instead of dismissing it. The police came, and I filed a report. One of the women later told Karen she felt sorry for ruining her pre-Valentine's Day. Perhaps next time she should manage her anger better. The other woman stated she was a paralegal and "knows the law" as I was leaving, which felt unnecessary and intimidating. After speaking with a few friends who previously attended this gym, I felt leaving this review was important so management can improve how situations like this are handled. Later that afternoon, Karen called to inform me that my membership was being terminated because things "got out of line." I do wonder whether the other two members' accounts were also terminated. I proceed to explain this lady insulted me and called me "bitch" which Karen said is not a big deal when someone calls you that you move on. I am sorry what? I left a message for the manager, Payton, whom I met when I signed up, but I have not received a response yet but I was able to speak to wife about the situation briefly and she assure me he will get back to me. Again still no response from Payton. Based on this experience, this gym will not be getting my money again, and unfortunately, this is the review they earned. read more

Nothing but great things to say about this place. My wife and I have always been the type to open a gym membership, pay for it monthly, show up for a few days, and then never touch it. This place has not only changed our routine, but also gives us the motivation to keep coming back. The staff/coaches are great! We really feel right at home every time we come in, and they know how to push us to get our full potential. This has become a lifestyle!! Thank you to David, Nick, Karen and Jay! After attending one year: I would say the classes and trainers are amazing for a great quick sweat. I loved the trainers, music and workouts. The community sucks though - outside of handful (literally less than 5 people) - everyone is the typical Miami "you can't sit with us" crowd. Many times they pair you with someone and the person doesn't even want to be a team player. There was even one class everyone paired up and they started and I was without a partner or station. read more

Tried out Legacy Fit Kendall for the first time and it lived up to the hype. I am a member of the Wynwood location but I happened to be in the Kendall area and decided to pop in, check out this location and joined the 9:30 am class. Their workout method is P.I.I.T (Partner Interval Training). Which means that you always workout with a partner which Is good for accountability and motivation. It is a high intensity bootcamp style workout and you switch station to station every two minutes. Exercises and workout of the day ranges and are split up by days: strength day, performance and endurance. Get ready to sweat while you listen to good music (take Joe's class). Music selection can range from Miami Booty music, EDM, old school rap and if you get lucky, he'll play the Titanic theme song for you. :) It is hilarious and it is always a good time while you workout. The facilities are new, the gym has only been open a few months, everything is new and clean and the aesthetics are gym appropriate to represent the brand. There is a locker room with showers. As for Covid-19 guidelines, they are adhering to it. Masks must be worn, social distancing is mandated and spray bottles with towelettes are provided to spray down the equipment after use. The gym is located in Town & Country Center towards the water fountain area. Parking is free and plentiful. Would I recommend this gym? Heck yea...because it is motivating, it is a lifestyle to live by their motto #nodaysoff, it helps mentally and physically, and anyone can do it. read more

Favorite gym of all time. I have been a member for about a year and a half and have nothing but great things to say! Coach Joe and Eli are wonderful and motivating. Our Kendall LegacyFit community is equally a wonderful. As soon as you walk into the gym, you're greeted with a warm welcome and a killer workout waiting for you. The workouts are Partner Interval Training style - 20 stations and 2 minutes of each station, for a total of one hour. I've never regretted a workout and you won't either! First class is free and with the monthly membership, you can go as much as you feel you need. Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone! read more

Legacy fit was by far the best decision I have ever made. I've never really been a "gym" person and its been truly hard for me to find a "gym" or workout routine that i love and stay committed to. I have tried it ALLLL, LA fitness, 9 rounds, CrossFit, bootcamp, spinning memberships etc. After trying out their Groupon promotion over 2 years ago I literally feel in love with this place and was immediately hooked and ended up signing on for a membership. I can honestly say I have never walked into a gym before that felt so welcoming immediately. Normally these type of gyms are intimidating, clique-ish, and not super welcoming to new comers. Legacy Fit is the total opposite. Awesome trainers, great music & convenient class times. There are early morning classes, lunch hour classes, and night classes. They have an app which makes it so easy to sign up for class. I am constantly shifting around my class times to fit my busy and fluctuating work schedule. The classes are circuit style but include cardio and weight training aspects, it's the perfect mix which keeps it interesting and fun but also very challenging. I have now been coming to Legacy Fit for a little over a year and I do not regret joining one bit. I started off with 4-5 friends who signed up at the same time I can proudly say I am the last one standing who has been consistent and maintained coming 4-5 times a week for an entire year! If you know me this is literally a huge goal and accomplishment for me. It literally has been so easy to keep up with my workouts and not mention how conveniently located the Kendall location is for me, 5 minutes from home. I really have no excuses. I've had classes with the one and only JOE! The Dynamic Duo Dustin and Roger, and now the newer coaches, Robert and Eli. They all try to build relationships with their clientele. Everyone works to remember your name and the classes are just a great team like environment. They are some of the nicest trainers I've had the pleasure to get to know and beat me into shape. CUP OF JOE IN THE KENDALL HOUSE YA'LL!!!! Yeah!!! I've been a Legacy member starting in 2010- which makes me one of their OG's (Original Gangsta) lol! I cannot say enough about my experience with the Legacy family, for that's what it is, FAMILY! Now my favorite Trainer/Friend/Brother has opened his own location with NKOTLB DUSTIN E., They got their building permits approved just yesterday afternoon and opened their doors this morning at 5:00 am for their very first Cup of Joe Bootcamp, and of course I made that 45 minute treck! Why?! Because I believe in my friend, I believe in the Legacy mantra of NO DAYS OFF, and because I'm LOYAL! Joe personifies loyalty with a capital L! I'm continually inspired by him, motivated to get my ass up at 3:45 am to make it to his 5 am class, and do not regret it one bit! One of my favorite quotes they use at Legacy: Obsessed is just a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated. This was the worst coach I've ever encountered. I've worked out at gyms all over the world--F45 in South Africa, HIT in Brazil, cardio classes in France, and even Anatomy in Miami, among others--and I have never experienced such rude behavior from a coach. Been coming here for close to a year now. This place is amazing. I've been to all sorts of gyms, boxes and fitness classes but honestly this is where I fit in the most. It's called PIT, partner interval training. Like your HIIT workouts but with a partner. It's one hour pretty intense but doable workouts from station to station and everyday is a new rep count. It changes daily even tho the machines are the same. You'll just have to see for yourself, first class is free. Bunch of classes Monday to Friday, Saturday 3 classes and Sunday one, so NO DAYS OFF! No excuses. Kendall has excellent coaches. The people that workout there are awesome too, always motivating and no egos. Take a towel and a water bottle because you'll need it. read more
