When we started to get hungry just being spectators I sent my dad out to find some food. I did a quick search on Yelp and pointed him the direction of County Farm Bagels. Similar to the tennis courts at College of Dupage he said the bagel place wasn't easy to find, but he made his way there. From there he ordered 2 sandwiches and then realized he forgot his wallet at home. Oops. And he's about 10 years behind when it comes to having apple pay on your phone. The woman at the bagel shop was nice enough to let him call me and pay over the phone. 20 minutes later he made his way back to Dupage and I enjoyed a poppy bagel filled with egg and cheese. It was a bit too cheesy for my liking, but still tasted pretty good and I was famished so anything would do. I also don't find Chicagoland to have the best bagels, but this one was pretty soft! This is quite far from me in the North Shore, but if i find myself in the area again (likely for another tennis tournament) I'd stop here for a quick bite to eat.

Yesssss, FINALLY a bagel spot in my area that I actually like!…read more A friend and I stopped in on a late Friday morning and the place was consistently busy. Even with the influx of customers the staff members kept up with it and provided excellent service. Tip - bring cash to avoid a 3% CC charge. This location is smaller/narrow compared to the Winfield 1. Indoor seating is good for 10-15 people. I got the cheddar oregano bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese. The bagel itself was flavorful and had a decent texture. I should have asked for have it be double toasted but that's just my preference. I enjoyed the cream cheese too. I also should have asked for them to drown my bagel with it but again, that's my B. Overall flavors were there for me and I really liked it. I'm particular when it comes to bagels and I'm happy to have finally found my go to bagel shop in the SW burbs. I'll be coming back to try more items very soon!

They have a decently sized seating area, and in the warmer months, there's a patio to sit outside. It can get a bit loud inside during the weekends and peak hours, so not ideal if you prefer quieter environments to do work. I absolutely love their brownies, especially their blackberry brownie, but they were out the day I went so I got the red velvet cupcake instead and it was perfectly moist and soft. You truly can't go wrong with any of their bakery items. I also got the pesto pasta salad, which I highly recommend.

They have a great selection on their…read moremenu for both breakfast and lunch, and they also have ready-to-go items in a refrigerated case. I had the pick two, which was a half a sandwich (grilled cheese) with a half salad (kale Caesar). The salad was so good! Fresh, crisp and lightly dressed. However, the grilled cheese was pretty sad. I opened it up and there was hardly any cheese. It was just like eating two pieces of grilled bread. They need to improve on that for sure. I also had their 12oz wildflower latte which was very tasty, but served lukewarm and not hot. If the milk is not steamed, it will bring down the temperature of the coffee. I like my specialty coffees served hot. I do have to say every staff member we came in contact with was friendly. They seemed happy and were there to help and answer questions. You place your order at the counter, and you receive a number which you display at your table. There are two dining areas with tables and a few booths to dine at next to where you place your order. Members of the staff bring your order to the table. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. Even with the sad grilled cheese sandwich which was disappointing and the lukewarm latte, I would definitely go back to Blackberry Market again to try other items on their menu. I'll pass on the grilled cheese, though.

For drinks, I started with the lychee martini and then moved to the Fire and Ice. I loved the Fire and Ice drink. My husband found a new Pinot Noir that he now loves - Submission! For starters - we got the Brussels Sprouts Crostini. Unique appetizer to try - if you love brussell sprouts. For entrees, we got the cauliflower steak and fried chicken. I loved my cauliflower - the hummus and pita bread with it made it perfect. I wasn't trying for an all veggie meal, but it truly hit the spot. Nothing too heavy at all. My husband liked his fried chicken but wished it was spicier. He took half home and was able to spice it up with a sauce. Overall - a great meal that we would go back to if we were in the area.

There is limited seating so it is primarily first come first serve. Their espresso machine was out of order while we were there. However, no big deal we still enjoyed everything else. The building looks like it was converted from a church, and the back seating area has some high stained glass windows. In the middle of the cafe is a narrow hallway/corridor where the supply closet and the single stall bathroom is, so it segments the cafe into two areas, connected by this hallway in the center. The design feels very clearly like a remnant of an old historic building, and a brick alleyway runs along one side. In the space/room where you order (walking through the seating area and through the hallway), it opens up with huge windows and a huge industrial coffee grinder on full display. There's another counter to order, with a few pastry options, and along another side wall, a rack of F&H clothes for purchase and the drink menus. (The aesthetic reminded me of Blue Bottle.) I ordered an iced Whiskey Vanilla Latte with oak milk and it was good! I couldn't taste any whiskey at all, and when I ordered the barista had mentioned this (cooked off so you wouldn't taste it) so it was a decent vanilla latte. I'll give them props for a really cool unique flavor. We all grabbed our drinks and headed (back through the hallway) into the other room with the seating area. There is a small section with a couch, otherwise lots of tables and chairs and I was glad it wasn't too crowded so we were able to grab a table. This was a great spot to grab coffee and meet up with friends. It's in a neat little downtown area in Wheaton, and they offer creative coffee drinks, with beans and merch to purchase.

First the cashier seemed like he was on some type of substance he kept staring off into the air and wobbling back and forth. Even the guy in front of me was getting frustrated because the cashier was holding the customers change and swaying back and forth not giving it to him... when it was my turn, I handed him cash and he just stared at it for a good 15 seconds not knowing what to do with it. His shirt was covered in filth and he THREW my bag on the counter and walked away immediately. I came in again today, the same guy was there and his shirt was FILTHY again. He proceeded to throw my bag on the counter again, I said thank you and he walked away without saying anything. This guy is very rude and they should not have somebody at the front of the house working like this. I gave two stars because the food is good, the service is just terrible. I gave this place a second chance, but I will NOT be returning.
