Love it for a bahn mi & viet coffee. i'll be honest though if you're in a rush it's a hit or miss for lunch. I use the app for online ordering and to wrack up points! The staff is nice but sometimes they take a while on sandwiches in the way it gets piled up on lunch time but if you get that fresh baguette?! I'm knocking off one star because I specifically requested extra jalapeños on my sandwich, and ironically, mine was the only one that didn't have any jalapeños at all. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was definitely disappointing since that was my only special request. That said, the sandwiches themselves were delicious. One thing I really appreciate is the bread! it was perfectly baked with a light, crisp exterior without being overly hard. I've had bánh mì from other places where the bread is so crunchy it tears up the roof of your mouth, but Lee's gets the texture just right. Despite the missing jalapeños, I'd still come back. Today was a great day! After a workout, we stopped by for some bánh mì in Rancho Cucamonga, and it absolutely hit the spot. Needed Vietnamese coffee early in the morning for a long day of meetings and the only place I know that sells it in this town is Lee's! If they had a 7 Leaves out here I'd go there, but they don't. My sister told me about their BIscoff coffee and said it was very good. I got the Banana latte and it was good, tasted like artificial banana flavor. I ended up getting a breakfast sandwich on a baguette with egg, bacon and cheese. That was a solid, small, breakfast sandwich that was filling and did not leave me feeling like I ate something super unhealthy. When we arrived the place was clean and not crowded. Would not be ordering either one of those items again. It's a nice clean shop though with seating. I may come back and try something other than a sandwich. Service during their re-grand opening appeared a bit chaotic. I was charged for a sandwich that I did not order, which was quickly corrected when I brought it to their attention, and I was refunded the cost back to me. There are tables to sit and the decor is nice. The customer in front of me complained that her three baguette loaves which were fresh out the oven were cold, and the person at the register did not/would not exchange them for her. My ham and cheese croissant was also served cold. I ordered the banana coffee and it tasted okay, however the serving sizes are small for the price. The only reason why they looked is because my husband let them know they were calling 10 more customers that came in after us. There was zero apology. The best we got was "the ticket wasn't here, we'll get on it," with no real sense of accountability. When my husband asked about a refund, they rushed to "make it right" instead of addressing the delay, and there was no sincere apology or acknowledgment of the hassle. My turkey sandwich felt like there wasn't enough meat like 1 and a half slices paired with three large slices of cheese, all flavorless. It seemed the focus was on the baguette rather than what was inside, and the result tasted like cafeteria or pre-packaged food you get at the hospital or quickie market. I pulled off the cheese to cut fat/calories because it just wasn't worth it...but even then the sandwich was just not worth the time or the price. Good news for them, they are the only banh mi nearby in the IE. I remember sometime last year on either Thursday or Friday, they turned into a ghost kitchen.
