Lee's Coffee (Iced)

Read on Google that they have a bussin Vietnamese coffee so I came and tried it. It was indeed bussin. Didn't try any of the food so this review is solely for the drink!

Loooove the Bahn Mis here. Located on Bellaire Lee's Sandwiches is one of my favorite chains. The bread is very crisp on the outside. Soft and bready on the inside. I love the grilled pork. They also add all the pickled veggies and onions. I came at 3p and there was only a few people there. Recommend for a quick lunch.

I always go to Lee's sandwich most of the Saturdays and enjoy it. Today, I wanted to try something different and I ordered #6 BBQ Pork and asked to add extra Pate and Mayonnaise. When I open the sand which, there was no pate or mayonnaise. It's basically just meat and vegetables and no sauce or anything. However I was charged extra pate but never got any in my sandwich

3.5 stars. Came here for lunch. We had a couple sandwiches banh mi, almond croissants, and the little corn shaped sponge cake filled a custard filling to go. Everything tasted pretty good. They have a drive thur which seems to be pretty busy in the afternoon. I noticed it's a senior citizen meetup spot which is kind of cool to see the viet community there just catching up. The restaurant is spacious, but the bathrooms were not that clean and run down unfortunately. They make there baguettes baked daily in house which is nice to see. Good for a quick lunch on the go.

Amazing viet coffee

As usual, Lee's sandwiches never disappoint. We got the chicken pate, couple of sandwiches, pastries, and desserts. All were great! Prices were decent as well. The viet coffee was amazing. Just right amount of cream and caffeine. We grabbed freshly baked baguette. Highly recommend.

Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Have not had much other than their Vietnamese coffee and let me tell you, it HITS! Being a visitor from New England, this was definitely a vibrant awakening of flavors. No bitterness at all, just rich dark roasted coffee sweetened with indulgent condensed milk.

Coffee is always a hit. I love Vietnamese coffee. This place is the OG place. However, Customer service could definitely improve. We ordered two coffees and both of our coffee cups were FILLED with ice. I definitely was not happy. It's disappointing because coffee isn't cheap. I literally felt like I had a few sips. Not to mention, my SO asked for a cup of ice and they charged him 50 cents in a foam cup... he asked if he could have a lid. They said they would charge 50 cents for a cup with lid.

One of the popular place for banh mi in Houston. It may not the best but it's considered good. Beside banh mi you can order finger food

Nicely priced . Fresh veggies . Great portions . Great customer service . The inside isn't freezing cold but a nice cool that makes me feel very comfortable. It's clean and quaint. I love how the number is called in English and Vietnamese, makes me feel like I'm learning something lolz .

Pork Roll

Came here to for the first time. Ordered the Combination Roll and the Pork Roll. Both are delicious especially when you enjoy the Vietnamese butter mayo and Pate (pork liver) spread. These sandwiches have meats that are not found in supermarkets and kind of look like a type of bologna. These are traditional meats that are in banh mi's. So if you're not used to eating these types of meats and don't wanna try it, then I'd recommend the bbq pork. These banh mi's come with pickled daikons/carrots, jalapeños, and other veggies. Overall, decent price for a fresh and crunchy 10in banh mi. They also sell their Vietnamese butter mayo, Pate, desserts, and snacks. The staff are super friendly and fast. The dine in area is huge so you shouldn't have any problem finding a place to eat. They also have a drive thru and restrooms and an armed security guard. This place is also conventionally located across the street from the Hong Kong City Mall on Bellaire. Happy New Years

There's plenty of free parking in the shopping lot, which makes visiting Lee's Coffee a breeze. I come here regularly for their signature coffee, which always impresses me with its smooth texture and thick body, perfectly balancing sweetness with the natural bitterness of the brew. The service is always quick and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. The shop itself is spacious, with plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor options as well. On this visit, I decided to try the pate chaud based on a friend's recommendation, and I was pleasantly surprised. The pastry was light and flaky, with a juicy and flavorful pork filling. I enjoyed it so much that I also tried the chicken version, which I liked even more! Both were delicious, and given the great quality for the price, this will definitely become a regular snack for me.

Anytime in a city that has Lee's, it's my first stop. Im convinced the crushed ICE Lee's uses in their coffee makes their already mind blowing-ly creamy and strong coffee even more tasty. We also bought the chicken & pork pate choux- the pork was the preferred option with better flavor and texture. The outside is light and flakey, the right amount of oil. First time trying the spicy wings and 10/10, crispy fresh and umami. The banh mi is large and we were able to split it with our group of three. The price is very affordable, everything in the picture for under $35! Also the inside is very loud and lively. Lots of parking space. Quick service, everything was out within 5 mins even with the long lines.

Banh mi combination #1

I ordered 4 combination #1 sandwiches to go. They were $6 each. It was very disappointing when I came home and saw that there was hardly any meat in them. See picture. There was also just a trace of pate. The bread was dry and chewy. I thought that they had made a mistake, so I called and asked why are the sandwiches like that. The person there told me that's how they make them. I definitely would not be coming back to this place. I also bought one bánh tiêu and bánh chuối. Both were not good either.

While the osmanthus with cream remains my personal favorite, this visit I ordered the high mountain pouchong with orange and was not disappointed. It's refreshing in the Texas heat, a little tangy from the citrus and perfectly sweet (the lemon variety of it is also exceptional). Seating inside is rather limited, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, good for sitting awhile and having a chat while you drink. One of my favorite tea stops of all!

Luckily there wasn't a line. I picked up a green tea passion fruit tea and was surprised how tasty it was! The drink was a pretty yellow hue with passion fruit seeds at the top. The green tea flavor wasn't overly strong or dry wnd was very fragrant-- super tasty~ It came in a recyclable little sling carrier too, super cute :) I love how the brand focuses on real fruit, milk/cream so there aren't any artificial ingredients lurking around. You can order at the kiosk or at the cashier. For sweetness customization, they only have full level, less sweet, and no sugar options. The less sweet is already plenty sweet for me, so wish there was a slightly less sweet option than that. The service was polite and friendly, and the inside was clean with several tables. Besides the great taste, I really appreciate the "no artificial stuff" way of doing things. After one drink I'm Chicha San Chen fan! Be sure to stop by sometime and try their tea :D

One team member kindly explained the drinks I was curious about and even gave me a recommendation, which I really appreciated--and it was spot on! I went with the Hawaii Sunset fruit tea at 50% sugar. Just a heads-up: their fruit teas lean more on the fruit-forward side than actual tea, and mine was definitely on the sweeter end of the spectrum--likely from the syrup in the mango popping boba. Even at half sugar, it was pretty sweet. I also noticed a couple of things that could've made the drink better: some lemon seeds were left in, and the smaller bits of mango weren't fully ripe, which made the texture a bit off. That said, the staff's kindness and the wide variety of drinks make me want to come back and try other options! I'm especially interested in their Saigon street food menu and those adorable kitty paw-shaped mochi waffles. The shop itself is small with limited seating, so I'd recommend grabbing your drinks to-go unless you're staying for a bite. Bonus points for being located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking--no stress finding a spot!
