I felt like the application had been rushed at the other place I had initially gotten the gel x applied, so I decided to try out Kim's instead. And I'm very happy I did. Annie did my nails and took great care in looking at my detailed design idea, asking me what colors I wanted and checking in multiple times to ask if I liked it. My manicure and pedicure are still perfectly intact 3 weeks later. I will say, I would probably give 4.5 stars if I could, just because the pedicure took a long time as the girl doing it was on phone calls/FaceTimes the whole time and kept texting on her phone. That was strange to me, but the gel pedicure has lasted much longer than at the previous place I went to so I'm happy about that. I also did have to wait 20ish minutes after my scheduled reservation time which wasn't ideal. Overall a good experience and will definitely consider going back for my nails again!

(See my other reviews for example) it might look like a regular nail salon, but the artistry is next level luxury. You might end up having favorites but every tech is incredibly skilled and cares about the details. The salon itself is quite simple, clean and brightly lit. My first time coming in I saw Jojo, then Hannah, then Cherry, all great work. Today I saw Lee who is also the manager and watching her work I was in awe. She was doing my builder gel mani while booking appointments, managing walk ins, checking out customers and answering calls texts, I don't know how she does it all without error but I can see why she's in charge. They are quite busy, so I recommend booking an appointment and coming during slower hours (it's never empty though!) sometimes I find myself waiting after walking in on a weekday afternoon or morning even because their customers always come back. No matter what they always find a way to get me in. They are very transparent with pricing, they will tell you how much everything is, add ons shape change etc. and it is good that they do this. This is not a cheap salon, they charge fairly for their quality of work. The employees seem happy.

this place was terrible i went there in the evening (5:30) i went in to have powder removed and…read morecontinue with a mani/petti. my natural nails are extremely long and strong. the wax removal process started with the technician using the electric tool she says to remove the top coat. she then brought me 2 small bowls full,of acetone and told me to stick my fingers in. my response was wheres the aluminum foil and cotton that's what i'm familiar with. her response this is a better way. after soaking my nails in acetone for at least 10 minutes my skins turning dry (white) up to my knuckles. she drysc my hands. she grabs the electric tool and gets ready to file my nail after being in acetione for 10 minutes. i say no more electric tool. her response was what you want me to do! how about filing it's what technicians do. i've broken 3 nails since yesterday, as i stated my natural nails are super strong. i walked out of there totally dissatisfied, uhearded and racially exploited . , , no apologies and continually dismissive if, i had a dog i would'nt send them there for grooming my nails are sick and not in a good way. and i have a rash on both arms from acetone drying me out. they suck. response: say what you want about your shop procedures. the key word is "emory board", "not a filing "electric tool on (my) natural nails, then immerse my nails my hands in two bowls filled with acetone. the skin under my nails, and the top of my nails are still irritated and sensitive. ive been receiving mani petti to acrylic nails since the 1970's i dont need you to explain procedures to me yiu should also "google" immersing your skin in acetone. my suggestion to your shop "cotton balls, acetone, and aluminum foil. better tell the other patrons what you want. your shop sucks and your response is indicative of that. good bye. may we never meet again. Research: hands in pure acetone for 15 minutes is unsafe and unnecessary. Acetone is a harsh solvent that damages skin, nails, and periungual tissues and can cause systemic effects with prolonged exposure. Safer, evidence-based steps and precautions follow.

She was yelling at her employee throughout and at one point knocked liquid all over my arm and hands from waving her hands around at her. Didn't say sorry or excuse me, nothing. Loved having that liquid burning my hand I did notice that there was a lot of dried stuff all over at the end so I had to ask for lotion because a hand massage is the last thing you'll be getting here. I shouldn't have tipped but did so I spent $84 for a bad attitude, judgment, and a chunky, uneven, bad manicure. Should have just kept my bad nails to begin with. The technician did a fantastic job catering to my needs and even explaining why they did what they did. This location is in the old bank of America with lots of other suites. There is a paid parking lot next door or you can find street metered parking. There is a code you need to get into the building that they gave me prior to coming in. I showed them my inspo pic and they got the color and everything right. They were very detailed with my nails & my pedicure. The nail salon is cute itself & I love how they play music. I will definitely be back for my next fill!
