Living at a great distance from CT, I contacted Stefanie at Lee's Auto & RV Ranch to consign my 5th wheel. I'd explained to Stefanie that our Pick-up was stolen and we could no longer use the 5th wheel. She was anxious to consign it and contacted me desperately for days to finalize the contract. I had an opportunity to visit her office whilst I was traveling from Montreal. After the drive from Montreal, I was pressured into a journey of expediency to meet Stefanie's ultra-inflexible work schedule. I hurried to meet her on a Tuesday before her early departure at 3pm. I arrived at 2:30 to accommodate her need to leave at 3 and her Wednesday day off. She'd forwarded me a copy of a condition report to peruse, and I was able to verbally verify that the condition of the 2018 Winnebago Minnie Max was in excellent working condition and was ready for their safety inspection. She was anxious to receive their $950 fees for the detail and the safety inspection, and the consignment agreement was signed and effectuated immediately. She reminded me not to list or market the travel trailer myself, and that I should just wait for an offer or a deal. The 5th wheel was arranged for pick-up the next day, and our contact was in-force beginning on 18 July. I was off-put initially with her desperation and demands to suit her personal life, but assumed that she'd put as much energy into marketing the trailer as she had in rushing me on this international journey to effectuate the contract. Two days later, Stefanie contacted me and insisted that the paint was dull and suggested a $5000 paint job would show the trailer better. I was inclined to agree. She informed me that she'd speak to the body shop to get a quote and contact me back. Upon her return call she then upped the quote to $12,500 for a complete paint job. I can paint my Rolls Royce for less. I determined that this was all a set-up to abuse my vulnerability and gauge me for a service visit. I rejected the quote and Stefanie wrongly terminated our in-force contract and insisted that I pay for the removal of the RV and the return of the trailer back to storage. The contract never specified any paint brilliance specifications nor did the condition assessment checklist. This was a move to exploit our vulnerability and to solicit unnecessary services. Stefanie is a pure predator and I warn you to steer clear of this establishment.

The quality and age of the rental RV's !! The RV we…read morerented had 132,300 miles on it and it rattled and shook on every bump on the road. It took the 1st 20 miles to get rid of the flat spots on the tires from sitting a prolonged period of time. The Auto shop that we used to rent the Cruise America RV from stated that the septic tanks were drained from the last use which was false. We parked in a private driveway and used the facilities in the home for all but evening number 1 relief 5 or 6 times in the 3 days we rented. When I drained the septic tank at the end of our rental... I drained out almost 10 gallons or putrid raw sewage into 2 ...5 gallon buckets. None but a few pee's was ours. Thanks Nelgions !! Additionally we were charged $50 for propane for 3 nights of mild heat put into the unit at night. I was informed we used 40 or more gallons of propane?? B.S. !! That's like 5 twenty pound gas grill tanks. We used minimal heat in 40 degree nights. Last but not least ... the engine was a dog and sucked down gas at a rate of less that 6 mpg at a constant speed of 65 mph... TERRIBLE !!! So, in my opinion, I would not use this particular franchise facility to rent my cruise America RV. I would look elsewhere, and before you decide to drive away, check the condition of the RV with a test drive down the road which I failed to do. You may find that before you spend your money. You certainly don't want to drive this particular RV, for any particular distance. I went 467 white knuckle miles. No Thanks.

My advice....DON'T LEAVE HOME! We rented a 25 foot unit for a trip to Florida. The trip would…read morehave been better if we were riding as unsecured freight in the rear of a tractor trailer. The Rv was shabby, looked very old and drove and rode like a tank. It was impossible to sit in any of the passenger seats and enjoy the ride or do anything else. Driving it was like trying to stay on a bull for 8 seconds but in this case it was trying to stay in your lane. this was the biggest mistake we ever made. Needless to say our vacation was ruined. Now I know why when we called ahead and asked if we could see the Rv before picking it us we were told NO because "it had been sanitized". Well when we picked it up it had sanitized dust balls on the floor.

I rented an RV for February vacation 2021. This place was horrible! When I arrived they showed me…read morethe RV and it was filthy! It was covered in dirt and salt. When I asked why it wasn't cleaned I was told it was "too cold out and the water would freeze", however there was an entire car lot of used cars as well as other RV's that were shiny and clean. I had been told on the phone that I could leave my car at the parking lot while I was away and would need to pay a fee for the parking. When I arrived I was told that I had to pay cash for the parking. I had requested ahead that the RV be "unwinterized" so that I would have water and be able to use the bathroom. When I was picking up the RV I was told that I needed to fill the water tank myself. I told them I was leaving right from there and had no place to fill it up I was told to do it at the camp ground I was going to. However- NOT to use the bathroom in the RV unit I had water. Seriously?! This was February mind you. So I asked where the hose was to fill the tank, I was told they didn't have one and I could "ask to borrow one at the campground" WHAT?! This is what I was paying for? I arrived at the campground late that night, of course no one was around and I could not get a hose or water. This was my first time renting or using an RV mind you. I was filthy from just getting out the cord to plug in the RV it had so much filth on it. The rear view mirrors were not even useable until I cleaned them. My daughter and I were so miserable we called the company the next day and initially were greeted with significant sympathy and desire to fix things. Within a very short time that changed. I was treated rudely and disrespectfully. I asked to have my car keys left for me to get my car as I would be returning that day instead of keeping the RV for a week and they refused to leave my keys!!! I couldn't believe it. I was so dismayed by this I sent a complaint to the company and asked for my money back I never received a response. STAY AWAY they are thieves and terrible business people!!!!
