I was given a pickup date and told that if it was finished early, they would call to let me know. When I arrived on the scheduled pickup date (which was also listed on my receipt), my dress hadn't even been started. It took the staff about 15 minutes to locate it, and once they did, they immediately apologized. They offered to have it completed the following day and said they would give me a discount for the inconvenience. I completely understood that mistakes happen and appreciated the apology. They asked if I could return the next day, but because I had to work, I told them I would pick it up the day after instead. When I returned two days later, the dress was finished. After trying it on, I went to the front desk and asked about the discount we had discussed. The employee laughed and said, "We don't do discounts here. Who would have told you that?" I pointed to the woman I had spoken with previously, who I believe is Theresa. Theresa then told me I had shown up two days late to pick up my dress and that she doesn't give discounts. I reminded her that when I came on the original pickup date, my dress had been misplaced, the alterations hadn't even been started, and she had personally offered me a discount because of the situation. She denied that conversation ever took place. What was most disappointing wasn't the initial mistake--it was the lack of accountability afterward. I understand that errors happen, but standing behind your word and making things right is what good customer service is all about. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here, and because of this experience, I won't be returning and cannot recommend Theresa's Alterations to my friends or family.

She is extraordinarily friendly, very reasonably priced, responsive, quick, and very skilled! Parking is a little weird, as there is a very shallow lot directly in front of her building that's right by a stop sign. It can be tricky to back out during high traffic times, but there is street parking available too. I have used a number of other tailors, and have never been as happy with one as I am with Susie's. She is, quite simply, as good as it gets.

However they took me in and got me scheduled super fast. Each lady I worked with was so kind and helpful. They made sure I was comfortable and happy, no matter what. They were very patient with me too, at first I was a little nervous about my wedding dress because I didn't know what to expect but they exceeded my expectations! I also took my bridesmaid dress to them and they helped me out so much and made sure it fit. Overall, wonderful service, amazing workers, and a very neat and tidy shop! I took in eight items including dresses, pants, and also a leather jacket. Very reasonable pricing considering what needed to be done on them. I definitely will be back! Tip: the storefront is in the back of the shopping area and has a dedicated parking spot for customers. Cash is preferred but you can pay with electronic payments if you're willing to cover the fee.

I took my coat to Armstrong in Oxford and 3 days later my husband picked my coat up. He didn't lift the bag to look. He assumed Armstrong was a professional dry cleaner. I didn't lift the bag off of my coat until we were leaving the house, on our way to the airport. I had to rush to a department store to buy a winter coat to take with me to Germany. I took my coat up to the cleaners to show the clerk what they did. The clerk gave me a fake website name however I was able to leave a review on Google, Facebook and now Yelp. Beware of taking anything here to be dry cleaned!
