The son said she sometimes just doesn't want to do projects and that I should go elsewhere. She then said she couldn't handle the simple hem I requested. She was incredibly rude and kept waiving her hand at me to leave when I was trying to ask as to why she changed her mind. I asked kindly and she gave no response as to why. Incredibly disappointing because I have sent people here before and they have zero customer loyalty. Ps. When I've gone in the past, multiple alterations for one item were required. i always just went with it because the end product would be fine but it took them 3 tries to get it right. It's a bummer there aren't more places in cincinnati. If you want good customer service and communication and a good alteration, don't go here. I will be passing this along to the multiple people I recommended this place to.

I found St. Clare's through a Google search for wedding dress alterations. I had waited a tad bit…read moretoo long so most places were booked out. However they took me in and got me scheduled super fast. Each lady I worked with was so kind and helpful. They made sure I was comfortable and happy, no matter what. They were very patient with me too, at first I was a little nervous about my wedding dress because I didn't know what to expect but they exceeded my expectations! I also took my bridesmaid dress to them and they helped me out so much and made sure it fit. Overall, wonderful service, amazing workers, and a very neat and tidy shop! Things were said that mischaracterized both parties. Monica's husband reach out to me and we were able to discuss this in a cordial and professional manner. So I had an event on a Friday night (I actually only had a 5 hours lead-time before I had to go pick up my date), and there were these shirts (somewhat trendy and uniquely designed) I got from overseas that didn't drape just right, and I wanted a same-day tailor to look at it for me, so I called Anna - whom my Dentist recommended. After raving over the shirts and declaring how handsome I was (which I am, of course. LOL) Anna had me try them on and told me exactly what she'd personally do to make them drape better. (I wanted them to fit like the model on the guy's web page) "These guys they do tricks for those photo - I fix for you, beautiful man". Anna hooked me up. My momma loved the look, the people at the Aronoff center loved the look, my date loved the look. Thanks to Anna for giving me the look I wanted in a couple of hours. It was obvious there was no way to make these right because was not enough material left. I mean, I'm Not a seamstress, but even I could figure that out.. as we were standing there she turned the whole issue to be my fault The excuse was I was wearing the pants different that's why they were short not that the actual ham crotch ankle was incorrect, but the way I was wearing the pants was incorrect it truly the most ridiculous thing I ever heard if that was the case apparently I should've tried on every pair to see how I would've been wearing them lol.. The pants still had a tag on them of 50+ dollars. I'm sure she didn't want to replace them but I had spent over 200 and just a little compassion and admitting she was wrong on her part would've been better than turning the whole issue to be my fault so definitely would not recommend if you have more than one pair of sure you try them on both in case you decide to wear them the same way Never an apology never a follow up. I guess I'm just out my pants and the price I paid to have them hemmed.

My wife had two pair…read moreof pants and was told by the greeter/cashier, "Why did you wait until the last minute to bring them in," She had just bought the the day before, did not need them for three days and there business ' name is "Alterations While You Wait." No need for that admonition from the cashier. A simple, "It is Prom time, we are backed up terribly and are unable to meet your deadline," would have been acceptable. I may return, but my wife took her pants back to the store and will wait 7-10 days and save $70.00 on alteration fees, and receive outstanding customer service.
