Plenty of parking, here for lunch, 10 tables, ordered quick. Ordered a couple rolls, Tiger and Rainbow but no pictures. This is like a fast food sushi joint, service was fast, got what I expected, they see a lot of foot traffic. Good enough for a Quick lunch, fish slices were thin, it's the rice that fills you up. I would have liked more wasabi, barely a postage stamp.

Don't judge this book by its cover! When you first walk in, you might be taken aback by the fast-food style ordering counter and laid back table layout. But trust me, it's worth trying. Lee Sushi is serving us some fantastic sushi! Well-rolled, great flavor, and pretty comparable to other sushi restaurants in the area. There was no wait, the food came out to our table in an appropriate amount of time, and the staff was very friendly. We were impressed! For a quick sushi-spot, Lee Sushi is a fantastic option!

They're looking really good in here. They did some remodeling. I've been here many times especially for lunch and I would like to just share with everybody to stop by here and try it out. The sushi is fresh and delicious and moderately priced! You cannot find sashimi this thick at Tsunami or any other sushi place that I've been to in Salt Lake City valley. The only downside is they offer either tuna or salmon. They don't have other raw fish options however, I am hopeful they will add yellowtail one day! Lee's is in Sandy Plenty of free parking. Friendly service!

Ordered Nigiri 3 piece salmon 3 piece tuna. The woman at the counter was nice but the food... I'm at a loss for words. It was not good. Perhaps coming at 130 PM there were only leftovers from the lunch rush but the fish was warm and the tuna... I've never been able to smell sushi grade tuna before I raised up to eat. It fell off of the rice. The way it was cut was... interesting. It was unappetizing. I was only able to eat 5 pieces my stomach wouldn't let me eat the sixth. I love sushi but would not recommend this location. I do not like leaving less than stellar reviews but as a sushi lover I felt disappointed by the other reviews saying to ignore the appearance and come here.

The menu differs from what's on the wall. Perhaps the wall menu is showing newer options???

I'm hungry, the food on the wall looks amazing... I'm hungry... I ordered the pot stickers and jalapeños bomb for appetizers and a combo sushi platter number which I found on the wall menu but not in the book version... all good just a heads up yah dig? Not judging.... So the appetizers arrived fast...I was the only one in this spot but shortly after there were 7 of us. First bite was the pot stickers... fresh, perfectly fried and hot. Not sure what the dipping sauce was but it's light and flavorful. The jalapeño bombs were very fresh and perfectly cooked. It had a fry sauce which paired beautifully with the heat from the peppers. Shortly after and right on time, the #4 combo platter sushi platter arrived. I didn't have my glasses on when I ordered so not what I would have normally ordered but it was still very tasty. The platter consisted of three cooked rolls. I'm a raw guy but like I said, it had a real high quality, beautiful presentation and I enjoyed it. This is not Nobu but the place is very clean, the person that took my order is very nice and I will be back to try their soups, many other sushi options and burritos. Well done Lee Sushi. Okay, first of all, this place looks like a tiny fast food joint, but do not let appearances fool you! This is probably one of the best sushi rolls I have had in a long time! We stopped on our way to a concert and ordered on our way up to sandy. Our food was ready when we got there and they were quick to hand it to us. We were running a little late so we ate it in the parking lot, but holy crap, for the ambiance of eating in the car, I was so blown away by the flavors here. My favorite roll is a Vegas roll and this was the best one I have ever tried, and I wish I was exaggerating. Seriously it was so delicious and my mouth is watering thinking about it. We really finished the sushi and said, wait, it's gone?? It's that good friends! So if you're in the area, check it out! Don't let the look of the restaurant deceive you.

I first found Lee Sushi on Yelp and have ordered takeout from them often. Today is the first day I've gone into the store and it's everything you'd expect from a hole in the wall strip mall sushi spot. The interior is spectacularly clean and the menu is massive. They have specialty rolls (try the mango tango!) and all of the classics. Order individual rolls, meals, combos, ramen and more. Highly recommend!

4 1/2 stars? I was expecting much better. Sure my review will probably be buried. The owner is Korean and I expect more out of them, I believe the fish was ordered pre-sliced hence the dry rubbery texture. The ramen was decent, the large portion of rice in the rolls was too great of a ratio. Doubt my little bro and I will be back.

Ordered food for pick up so that the restaurant can retain more profit. I first saw this place when I was next door getting Jamba Juice. Sushi burritos were made popular a while back. Think instead of a flour tortilla you get a seaweed wrapped with your fav sushi fillings. Ordering was easy. The food was exactly as described and delicious. I am about to fall into a happy sushi coma as I'm typing this. Service was polite. From ordering to arriving to the restaurant took about ten minutes and food was ready for me. They could go lighter on the sauces on the spicy tuna roll otherwise nothing to complain about. 2 fish combos, one sushi burrito and a rainbow roll was enough to satisfy 3 very hungry eaters. They also serve ramen and Korean noodle soups. Looking forward to coming back and ordering more!

Stopped by from a work Lunch Break. It was pretty good! Out of the places in the area probably the best. I got the Combo 1 under sushi. It was 3 different styles of California rolls. One of my favorite newly discovered places. The service is great. The restaurant was empty on a rainy night about a month ago. I was waiting a long time for a sushi burrito, and the girl behind the counter brought me some tempura shrimp. On the house. :) Good service will bring me back even if the food isn't the best, but this place has both. Great service AND great food. The ramen is amazing you get plenty of noodles for your sumptuous, rich pork broth. I only wish for a few more pieces of fall apart tender pork. I will definitely keep coming back for the sushi burritos, ramen, and friendly service. Good location, too. Right off the freeway. read more

Total lack of customer service. They have 2 touch screens to order from that are hard to use as they only sometimes register your finger. Tried to order on both, and could not get past the mandatory wasabi and ginger screen, would not take my input. Waited for about 5 minutes for somebody in the back (hello?!?) to help me complete my order. Nobody. Finally left with no lunch. Was really looking forward to lunch here. read more

Cute locally owned restaurant! I work near south towne mall and you honestly get sick of all the franchise foods around. It was so amazing to find a cozy locally owned place with some hot ramen for a chilly day. The customer service was stellar and the prices are great! Great little casual sushi place! It's the style where you order at the counter and they also have a kiosk where you can place a digital order. Lots of pictures and lots of options on the menu. I got the dragon roll, edamame, and miso soup. The miso soup was delicious and steaming hot. The dragon roll could be made with tuna, salmon, or eel. I went with tuna and it came out with nice thick fresh pieces on top. It looked like they had some yummy ramen options as well so I need to go back and try that. I would definitely go back for lunch or a casual dinner night! read more

This was such a fun little place to find! You definitely get a lot of food for what you pay for, which is awesome, since sushi isn't always cheap! It's not the fanciest place to eat, but the employees were super nice and friendly and the food was great! My favorite thing that we ordered were the sesame balls!! I love burrito-style sushi and Sushi Stix did not disappoint. I ordered a Vegas burrito and really enjoyed it. The salmon was fresh and cut into bite-sized pieces, and in combination with the fresh and non-chewy seaweed wrap, made the burrito the perfect consistency to eat. Sometimes other sushi burritos are tough and stringy, making the burrito come apart at the first bite. So messy, especially when the fish slips out and kind of slaps your chin. But no fish slaps or general messiness here! The burrito contained the right balance of salmon, crab, cream cheese, cucumber, avocado, rice, spinach, spicy mayo, and eel sauce. In my experience, Vegas rolls don't usually contain spinach, but it was great in this roll! It made the whole roll taste fresher. Sushi Stix hit the nail on the head for me. I wish I lived closer, because I'd love to return at least a few more times to try their other menu items (the regular sushi rolls look beautiful!). read more

First time here and the owner Ting Ting happily suggested many great items. I'm from California where the sushi is quite decent, also just came back from Japan about a month ago.. and am happy to say the sushi here is pretty good. They have a good selection with fresh fish. The tiger roll and California burrito were amazing. Ramen was good and authentic as well. So glad I found this place since its right next to my apartment. Will be coming back... often! We eat here a lot because it's close to our house. It's FINE. We went there last night and I spent $80 on a sushi combo (it comes with 3 rolls), 3 veggie rolls, a bowl of ramen, some 'cream cheese" wontons (mostly wonton wrapper), and a Ramune beverage. Eh.. maybe that's a good price? I dunno.. I didn't complain, but the operation is strange. You order at a kiosk and they bring it out. The strangest thing to me is their pricing. If you get a 3 vegetarian roll combo it's $31.99 but if you get a 3 roll sushi (fish) combo, it's $18.99. And before you tell me it's because avocados are expensive, they are in the fish rolls, too. I'm not sure I understand other than the vegetable sushi combo comes with 2 drinks and the fish one comes with 1 drink. MEH.. anyway, we will still come here now and again. The food is a solid 3.5 stars. They do a good job but I'm not blown away.. read more

They are very patient and kind! I have allergies the man was very patient in explaining (he can speak English but it isn't perfect English) he could clean a separate place to make my food :) The food came out and it was delicious! Having tried Tsunami and Takashi, I didn't think there are good sushi here in Utah. (Takashi is okay but way too pricy and wait is too long) Sushi Stix definitely changed my view. Their salmon and tuna are flown in directly from Alaska twice a week. It feels as if the salmon and tuna melt in your mouth, a feeling I missed from Vancouver. Given the price and quality, I can confidently say this is the best sushi place in Utah. The ramen is awesome as well as you can see from other reviews. I need to say no more. The Sushi at this place is amazing and the Sushi Burito was equally very satisfying. We went for a lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and they had just then received their fresh Salmon from Alaska and boy were the specials good that day. Small location with a wide menu. Great sushi selection, sushi burritos, ramen, and more. Our party of 8 made a huge order and the food arrived quickly. It was excellent, the servers were friendly, and everyone enjoyed the food. It's a tiny location with very basic tables and chairs, so you don't go for the ambience. But the food is priced fairly, fresh, and fast. I highly recommend it. read more

So good! And these are the nicest people! I was in town for business; starving after work I just googled take-out and decided to give Sushi Stix a try. I'm so glad a did! Had some trouble on the phone to place my order as I had trouble understanding through the accent but he was so patient with me. When I arrived my order was ready and served to me with a smile. It really made my night. I ordered the sushi combo which comes with a roll and 6 pieces of nigiri. Fish was delicious and was good quality. I recommend the Sandy Crunch roll. read more

Was in the area and decided to try this place out. I ordered a to go order of the crazy tuna sushi burrito, the sesame balls, and the fried wontons. It all tasted delicious. The sushi burrito was pretty tasty. Although, there was a huge chunk of cucumber and lettuce. It was pretty hard to chew thru because of that. read more

Tried this place just because of good ratings. Wasn't sure when we walked in what all the fuss was about. Not fancy inside. But sushi was amazing and a good value. We fed 8 people for around $130 and everyone loved it. Good choice of rolls too. Some traditional and some unique, all good. Would definitely go again! read more

We are so picky about our sushi (especially when ordering takeout) but OMG this was incredible! The rolls are huge and the fish tastes FRESH. Even something as simple as the Spicy Tuna roll was so delicious. If you're having doubts about visiting Lee's - don't. Just go do it! The staff were friendly as well! read more

Very easy to order from their kiosk up front or approaching the counter. Great for social and contactless options! Food was great and was a great value. Sushi was fresh and well made. He didn't even use the funny oil peeing boy (IYKYK) which my 9yo old always gets excited about. Food was cooked just right IMO but server never came back to refill drinks or see if we needed anything. They don't have yum yum sauce it's something much runnier which was disappointing. After the cook was done, they were practically rushing us out, by picking up plates, offering boxes, and setting new clean dishwater near the grill. I'm glad that they are efficient, but where's my server? Where's my water & wine refill? For a Friday evening and NOT very busy, I was really bummed for how horrible our experience and service was.
