I also had a feeling that the person beside me had a better experience with an eye mask and heating disco but I received none of that even though I paid $140. At the end the nail painting seemed very rushed to be finished and I do not believe it was worth $140. My toes you can still see through on some parts and also it totally looks like they were not just done; they look like they've been done for a couple weeks and wearing off.

We looked through all the colors together, and I showed her the design I wanted. She executed it perfectly, and I was honestly so impressed with how they turned out! The craziest part is that it's been 7 weeks since I got the set, and my nails STILL haven't lifted! Yes, I definitely need to get a new set or a fill at this point, but I'm genuinely shocked. I've been to other salons where my nails usually start lifting around 4-5 weeks, so I have no idea what Laneva did differently, but whatever it was, it worked! I've gotten so many compliments on my nails, even now that they've grown out. I absolutely love them and would definitely recommend Laneva! If I'm in Virginia again, I'll definitely be back!

I've never had design nails done before, but I'm taking my daughter to Disney and thought it would be fun to get Minnie Mouse nails. As a single mom, I can only schedule appointments while my daughter is in daycare, so I planned this as a rare "me day", my first one in almost 20 months. I booked my appointment three weeks in advance for 10:00 AM and received written confirmation stating, "See you at 10:00 AM." On the morning of my appointment, while I was dropping my daughter off at daycare 30 minutes away, the salon called and told me my appointment was actually at 9:00 AM. Despite me having confirmation that my appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM, the response was essentially, "We called the other appointments and they can't move, so we can't do your nails. You can come sit here and we'll see if we can work you in." So because of an error on their end, I was the one who lost my appointment. As a new customer, I was apparently the easiest person to bump. What was most disappointing was not the scheduling mistake itself, mistakes happen, but the complete lack of effort to make things right. No accommodation, no attempt to prioritize me, no solution. I took time off work, arranged my entire day around this appointment, and left feeling completely dismissed. Customer service matters, especially when the business is at fault. Unfortunately, this experience ensured I won't be returning.

Now, I believe in telling the truth. There was a period when Jim sold the place, and things went downhill faster than a shopping cart with a bad wheel. We stuck around for a while, hoping things would improve, but it just wasn't the same. Then Jim bought it back, and suddenly it was like somebody turned the lights back on and remembered how to run a great nail salon. Every two weeks, like clockwork, you'll find us sitting in those chairs getting pampered far beyond what a couple of senior citizens probably deserve. Christine and Lin are absolutely the best. They know exactly how we like our nails done, remember what's going on in our lives, ask about our family, and genuinely care about us. After all these years, we're not customers anymore; we're family members who happen to pay for nail services. The quality of their work is consistently outstanding. We never leave disappointed, and after a decade of visits, that's saying something. Most businesses are thrilled if they can get you back a second time. Sindy Nails has kept us coming back for over ten years because they combine exceptional service with exceptional people. I've always said that anybody can paint nails. The special places are the ones that make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. That's exactly what Christine, Lin, Jim, and the entire team do. Five stars without hesitation. If you're looking for a nail salon in Fredericksburg, stop reading reviews and make an appointment. Trust an old guy who's been around long enough to know the difference between good service and great service. This place is the real deal.

One time she tried out a cat-eye ombré and I loved the outcome. We don't really talk much during the service, but I'm honestly not much of a talker when I'm getting my nails done. I just like to relax and watch the work. If you're looking for new nail tech, definitely request Mimi. She's great at what she does and I'm sure you'll like her work just as much as I do.
