The nail tech insisted on doing my nails first and assured me that we would still have time to get our toes done together. I trusted what she told me. By the time she finished my nails, my boyfriend's pedicure was already finished--which was exactly what I was trying to avoid by asking in the first place. When I brought this up to her, instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding or even apologizing, her response was essentially, "Do you want your toes done or not?" I found the response unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially considering I had communicated what I wanted from the beginning and followed her recommendation. On top of that, I was unhappy with my manicure. The cuticle area was messy, there was visible product/residue around several nails, and the shaping and finish were inconsistent. I've included photos because they show the quality of the finished service better than I can describe it. I'm generally understanding if something doesn't go perfectly, but the combination of the rushed-looking manicure and the way my concern was addressed made the experience very disappointing. A simple apology or an attempt to make the situation right would have gone a long way. Instead, I left feeling like my concern was an inconvenience. I will not be returning. And their website false advertises serving mimosas and there is a placard on the door that says no alcohol. The pictures on their yelp are clearly AI generated and not of their actual work relevant to their poor quality.

Could not have worked out better for us. Upon arrival we checked in on kiosk (awards system) and three of us were seated and foot bathing right away. We went with a deluxe pedicure which had trim, cuticle, aromatherapy, massage and callous removal (@ 45 minutes of relaxation). Our nail techs were Ann, Mary and Jun. Would never recommend. I went home, redid them myself and took a shower.

I am glad because then I wouldn't have experienced such a warm and inviting space. Both my friend and I got very good pedicures, the massage chairs are literally worth the trip by themselves. A lot of salons in the area rush through pedicures and just try to get through it, the two amazing ladies took their time, ensured we were comfortable. Unfortunately, my friend booked appointments at the Venus Nails in Massaponax (next to Planet Fitness in the Target plaza). You may want to read that review first. I told her, after that experience, I would take her to the good Venus Nails in Fredericksburg. Venus might not feel like its in the best neighborhood. It is right on Rt. 1. Busy road, the plaza is older, and the number of old broken cars around could scare you off. DONT LET IT! As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a light and spa-like beauty. Beautiful marble tiled floors, white wave paneled walls, and beach scene wallpaper sets the mood for what has always been a relaxing and exceptional experience. Upon being seated for pedicures, we were offered beverages, coffee, tea, water, or soda. We accepted the offer and beverages were brought to us. My two friends were getting manicures and pedicures while I opted for just the pedicure. I asked for the Men's Sport Pedicure - sugar scrub, callus treatment, moisturizing masque, paraffin wax and lotion massage ($55). While technically it is the only "Men's" option on the menu, it still offers Polish, so any and all menu items are available to men and women. My pedicurist was good (not great, but not horrible). Minor polite conversation and thorough attention paid to my feet and legs. I think she massaged my legs a little extra since my friends were getting manicures and I was alone in my pedicure chair. Overall, I love Venus and they have yet to disappoint! Thank you for a wonderful visit after such a disaster last time at a different salon.

FIRST no one there wanted to do my nails, second it wasn't relaxing at all...I needed something since I was so upset over the 25th anniversary of 9-11 and had been crying all morning.....it took all of 10 minutes and I sat there another 8 minutes for my polish to dry....shitty job....they acted like they couldn't understand what polish I wanted NEUTRAL.....and I wanted my nails very short since I do a lot of hand sewing!! A tiny bowl to put you hand in and he filed my nails, then base coat and wanted to get by with one coat of nail polish and I said NO two....then the clear top coat.....no pushing back the cuticle he did trim along the cuticle....but they should have been pushed back then trimmed.....and NO lotion or hand massage......I believe the guy was the owner.......I hope other heed my advise....I should have just taken the 28 and thrown it away......RUN RUN RUN
