I was greeted with pleasure and treated beautifully. They did a fantastic job on my nails. The one technician had a great idea for my short nails. An idea that no one else had ever told me about. Love!!! I finally found a decent nail salon in Spotsylvania after multiple let downs. I went to Be and got a regular pedicure and SNS manicure. I suffer from ingrowns and she took care of them so quickly and painlessly. They had been bothering me like crazy because every other place I went ignored them. That alone made me want to come back here honestly lol. She did a great job on my nail shape and I actually liked that she worked quickly because she was efficient The salon is unassuming but has everything you need. Everyone was really nice. Hands down my favorite place to get my nails done. I probably come every 3-4 weeks. Tracy does an awesome job on my pedi and I go to Billy for my nails. I often get coffin shaped ombré nails. The prices are about average, and I've been there a few times. The first time, I got a full set of acrylics and they came out lovely! Second time was to help me remove the acrylics a few months later. My nail beds sucked but they tried very hard to give me good instructions on care & make it as painless as they could. Most recently, I went for a simple gel manicure. I had a bad experience but I believe it was just that specific technician. She kinda half-assed it and it was obvious. My only negative point had to do with sanitation. Nail file was covered in white residue from others' nails (And files are one time use only!). read more

Not a fan. They used a cheese grater for my callouses! Okay first I have heard that, that is illegal for nail salons to do, so what was I doing? obviously researching the net for this! (and texting my BFF my frustrations) So i didn't know if in VA its illegal but i do know that he didn't put it in a serializing anything before or after he scraped my foot flesh. He just rinsed it in the pedicure water and placed in back in the drawer. I'm glad I have a gift card. And glad I didn't end up with foot fungus. read more

I usually come here for my brow wax and Billy's always does a good job... until today. I walked in and they looked busy so I turned around and was about to just leave bur billy said he was done and ready for me. After he was done I couldn't believe what I was looking at. He took off like all of my brow hair. I was left with very thin brows that don't even look professional. I came in with full thick brows just needing cleaning and walked out crying in tears with no brows & the start of a terrible day. The lady who did my nails had a horrible attitude. Everything I asked for, she had a rebuttal. Mid way she gets up to put shoes on her regular without saying anything and didn't even bother to apologize for leaving in the middle of my service. She cut me and I started bleeding I said "ouch you cut me now I'm bleeding", which she blamed on me And my nail bed. Not the scissors she was carelessly digging into my nails. So now I have a visible wound on my nail so I cannot get my desired style. Initially she wouldn't give me my French tips i wanted so I ask for a nude base coat to conceal the wound. The usual nude I use for French tips is bubble bath by OPI, which she gave me more attitude over and insisted I do beige. She goes back and forth with me after I made it clear what I wanted. Eventually I got annoyed and told her to just paint them all beige no French tips so I could leave. As she's painting, I notice my nailed are not only uneven across the top, but filed in inconsistent shapes. She gave me more attitude when I asked her (i was nice enough to even say please) to even them out and then snapped saying "no two nails are the same" And resumed arguing with me instead of simply fixing the nails and doing the service I paid for. I didn't even let her finish. Her attitude was atrocious and my nails looked horrible. She offered to fix it once I got mad and just asked to pay for what she did so far. I had my bf pay bc I didn't want to talk to her. She got mad and stormed away when he mentioned her attitude. Didn't catch her name but she's in the very back table of the shop on the left. The gentleman working said they've received multiple complaints about her nasty attitude. If you come here, please go to Bee or Bill (he sits in the front left, not too confident that's his name). They are extremely polite and excellent at what they do. Unfortunately I will not be returning, but I would suggest you all request those two lovely techs if you do go there. A hidden gem in Spotsylvania. I went on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm. Not busy at all. I was greeted and directed where to go right away. The nail tech that I had was very polite and took his time especially with the foot/leg massage. I was very greatful for that because a lot of shops they just whip right through that part and the pedicure is over with in a matter of minutes. I also recieved an eyebrow wax and was very pleased with the results. I like my eyebrows to retain their shape without taking to much off and altering the look. She did just that without me having to request it. I would definitely go back because you get great service and the prices are reasonable. read more

I've always gotten a beautiful manicure (SNS) here. But since they've moved to appointment only it's been hit or miss, mostly miss. I scheduled an appointment, arrived a few minutes early, and someone who walked in a few minutes before me, no appointment, was placed in front of me. Obviously no regard for protocol. when I realized they were putting the wrong color on my nails, I was treated with Hostility. No offer to change the color, no reduction in price. I decided to try them again today after the last time. The staff is not friendly and the wait is ridiculous. It appears that they do not have enough help or willing to let you know up front what the wait will be for services. I left and tried another shop. Customer Service is horrible. I sat there and watched a customer come in for a gift certificate and they stood at the counter for a while,even after they informed her of what they needed. I have enjoyed going to LA Nails for a year now and never needed an appointment. After today I will never go back! After telling me they can do my manicure right away, I sat for 30 minutes waiting. After seating the 2nd customer arriving after me I proceeded to ask why I was not next. The employee argued with me, pointed her finger to the manager and told me to talk to him. RUN! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! I took my daughter to get her acrylic nails removed. I should have known from the start that the place sucked. Walking in, we were greeted with a very nasty rude attitude. This lady literally cut her pinky nail all the way down and then used it to pry the next nail off. My daughter called me over because the lady was hurting her. I asked her why she wasn't soaking her nails like the price sheet says. She got a nasty attitude before huffing to go get a bowl to soak her fingers in. When I asked her why she cut her nail the way she did, she said something about there being a hole. Every finger nail is a different length now from her chopping them all off. My suggestion is not using this place. read more
