This is my first time in years getting my nails done, so I opted for a natural/nude color (687) for my full set of gel nails. The gentleman who did my nails was absolutely wonderful. It was around 4:30p on a Saturday when I called, and the business closes at 6. I was pleasantly surprised when I was given an appointment at 5:15p. The location was easy to find in a small shopping center. The inside was impressive and quaint; small but well put together. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. My technician was Erika, who was totally sweet and bubbly. I was offered a variety of drinks when being seated. There are many packages ranging from basic to premium for pedicure choices, which offer both gel and regular polish choices. Clean! I wanted to add that throughout my time in this establishment, I noticed there was a strict policy on hygienic practicing, which is great. I was there at closing and saw how well each area was cleaned after customers left. Overall I absolutely loved this experience and would return in the future.

Now, I believe in telling the truth. There was a period when Jim sold the place, and things went downhill faster than a shopping cart with a bad wheel. We stuck around for a while, hoping things would improve, but it just wasn't the same. Then Jim bought it back, and suddenly it was like somebody turned the lights back on and remembered how to run a great nail salon. Every two weeks, like clockwork, you'll find us sitting in those chairs getting pampered far beyond what a couple of senior citizens probably deserve. Christine and Lin are absolutely the best. They know exactly how we like our nails done, remember what's going on in our lives, ask about our family, and genuinely care about us. After all these years, we're not customers anymore; we're family members who happen to pay for nail services. The quality of their work is consistently outstanding. We never leave disappointed, and after a decade of visits, that's saying something. Most businesses are thrilled if they can get you back a second time. Sindy Nails has kept us coming back for over ten years because they combine exceptional service with exceptional people. I've always said that anybody can paint nails. The special places are the ones that make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. That's exactly what Christine, Lin, Jim, and the entire team do. Five stars without hesitation. If you're looking for a nail salon in Fredericksburg, stop reading reviews and make an appointment. Trust an old guy who's been around long enough to know the difference between good service and great service. This place is the real deal.

After reading the most recent reviews (necessary…read morebecause the poor reviews were from when it was owned by the previous owner), I called an scheduled an appointment and was able to get in the same day. First, the establishment was clean, spacious, well lit and welcoming. Second, I was greeted by a very friendly young lady when I entered, Ivy. Ken was the technician that did my gel pedicure and manicure. Ken is MAGNIFICENT! He was very pleasant and he took his time, paid attention to the details, and even re-polished a nail three times because the top coat didn't cooperate. This was WITHOUT A DOUBT, the ABSOLUTE BEST service I've received in a nail salon in the 30 years I've been going. Thank you Ken and Ivy for a pleasant and relaxing experience. I will definitely be back!

I've never had design nails done before, but I'm taking my daughter to Disney and thought it would be fun to get Minnie Mouse nails. As a single mom, I can only schedule appointments while my daughter is in daycare, so I planned this as a rare "me day", my first one in almost 20 months. I booked my appointment three weeks in advance for 10:00 AM and received written confirmation stating, "See you at 10:00 AM." On the morning of my appointment, while I was dropping my daughter off at daycare 30 minutes away, the salon called and told me my appointment was actually at 9:00 AM. Despite me having confirmation that my appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM, the response was essentially, "We called the other appointments and they can't move, so we can't do your nails. You can come sit here and we'll see if we can work you in." So because of an error on their end, I was the one who lost my appointment. As a new customer, I was apparently the easiest person to bump. What was most disappointing was not the scheduling mistake itself, mistakes happen, but the complete lack of effort to make things right. No accommodation, no attempt to prioritize me, no solution. I took time off work, arranged my entire day around this appointment, and left feeling completely dismissed. Customer service matters, especially when the business is at fault. Unfortunately, this experience ensured I won't be returning.

What began as a nice mother daughter mani pedi turned into a disappointing experience for us both…read more We had different nail techs. Nail chipping began the same evening on my daughter's nails and a few days after on my nails. I contacted the salon and spoke with Ann. She said she was the owner, to return and they would redo our nails. My daughter had a flight the next morning. No refund was offered. Unfortunately, I decided to go back because I knew gel nails had to be fixed / removed by the salon.. The owner, Ann, said that only she would take care of me. Upon my return, she did nothing to prep my nails. No soak or care taken. She ripped the gel off with a metal instrument. taking the top of my nails with it. I told her this was painful, but she ignored me. She used a drill on top of my nails after she'd ripping them off. At this point I felt I no choice but to have her reapply the polish. It was done sloppily after I refused her recommendation of an up-sale to Acrylic nails. She also said the color I'd chosen was one that chipped easily. I selected it from a book handed to me by my original nail tech. I felt quite bullied. She was aware I'd only had my nails done a couple of times in a salon. Once again, just two days later my nails began chipping. Now, I must find a reputable nail tech to remove the polish and hopefully my nail beds aren't too damaged by her rough careless treatment. The day my daughter and I had our nails done I was unable to pay because they don't accept American Express. My daughter paid with Venmo and I reimbursed her later. Ann, tip shamed my daughter because she didn't approve of the tip. I handed her an additional $20.00 in cash. I wonder now if our nail techs ever received our tip. I don't recommend this nail salon to anyone. Maybe it's worth also mentioning that day I noticed someone with an open leg wound receiving a pedicure prompting me to inquire if they had an autoclave for instruments. They had no idea what I meant. After explaining; I was told they had one. I looked around since we were seated at the far end of the salon. I saw no evidence of one. I did see dirty instruments tossed in a pile. It was over $200.00 for both of us not including the $35.00 tip. I believe this to be about average. So, not a cheap salon; Just cheap in quality. Ann was very rude to both of us. Based upon her attitude and actions towards me the day I returned to have my nails redone; it's my feeling she deliberately damaged my nails because she resented redoing them even though she offered to do so. In hindsight I wish I'd said nothing and just found another salon. I'm writing this review to warn others. There seem to be a lot of options in this area for nail salons. I hope my experience will help anyone reading this to make a better choice. I hope Ann reads this review and her customer service improves. This is shameful behavior particularly for the owner.

Therefore services were supposedly performed be graduates/professionals. The staff was polite, though I questioned the scheduling of my mani/pedi before my other services. SInce they would need to be very dry to do the facial/hand paraffin and massage. As it turns out the girl who did the mani/pedi did such a bad job it didn't much matter. She filed back and forth like a saw and then got the dark red polish all over my fingers and despite many attempts to clean it up, I still ended up with blotches of polish around my nails.(If I can I'll add a picture). The esthetician wasn't too bad though she had turned on the steam and then tripped over the machine. She ended up not using it at all (I assume she broke it since I stated that my main purpose for the facial was moisturizing.) I also said I used ultra gentle facial products and never alpha hydroxy... so I was surprised that she put alpha hydroxy on my face. When I got to the massage it made some sense since confused me with the friend came with that day, and it turned out they had mixed our charts. The massage room was cold, the music was loud and and the treatment was fast and jerky- not the swedish relaxing massage I had asked for. Going with the Spa at CTS saved us $20 over our second choice. When you're shelling out $175 to $200 plus tips the $20 isn't worth the total lack of quality. I warn customers as well as people considering being students if this is what the graduate.

I have a lot of muscle tension in my lower back and issues with my shoulders and the massage therapists paid special attention to those areas to ensure the maximum physiological benefit. The prices were the best part. The 1 hour student massage was $25, and the one hour graduate massages were $35. There is a calming feel in the waiting room and the therapist arrives quickly to take you back to the well-appointed massage room. The heated massage tables and hot towels start working before you feel the oiled hands on the skin and muscles. I'm a huge fan of a good massage and I plan to make regular appointments here because the price is low enough that I can indulge more frequently than I probably need to. My last two massages were by Brandon who is well studied and passionate about the kinesiological attributes of massage therapy. Great service at a great price make me a repeat customer.
