The good: very happy with how my acrylic nails came out. She did an excellent job. The ok: she got nail glue on my fingers and glued 2 of them together. We were able to separate them before the glue dried fully, and she did ask if I was hurt or ok, but I was not thrilled with how the rest of the interaction went The bad: she used the dremel to file my cuticles down, which left one cuticle bleeding and a few others sore and pink. When she asked what nail shape I wanted after I showed her the inspo pic, she asked me if I was sure I wanted square nails because the design wouldn't look good with square and only the pointed almond in the picture I showed her. She did eventually agree to give me the square shape I originally requested. As she was cutting and filing, she asked me if the length was good and I said yes. However, after she was finished filing , I noted some were longer than others and I asked if I could have them cut a bit shorter. She rolled her eyes and said "ugh, why didnt you tell me before I filed them". She made me feel like I inconvenienced her by asking her to cut them again. She did the trimming again, but reluctantly, I felt. Finally, after she finished my set, she asked what color I to set aside for my pedicure and I told her which one. Someone else came to do my pedicure and tried to put pink polish in them, which was not the color I requested. I told him who should have the polish and he went to ask her for it. He grabbed a color off the wall that looked correct, however, it wasn't until I got home that I noticed the blue on my fingers and the blue on my toes are different shades. I would give this a 2.5 out of 5 starts if possible, I was really not happy with a lot of the experience, but I do like how my nails look. Everyone here is phenomenal. Extremely knowledgeable and experienced, as well as kind and personable. I go to Jen every two weeks, but everyone else is just as talented. I highly recommend this salon. ** Jen is out for a few weeks and Cocoa did my nails this morning. They're gorgeous and so elegant! She was so kind and really took her time to make sure my nails were perfect. I'll definitely make my appointment with anyone at the salon now! read more

Things went well at first. I got a full set of acrylic nails I did not ask for any type of gel but I do believe gel like polish was used due to the bubbles that presented later but I'm not sure. I got a full pedicure and an eyebrow wax and I was happy at first and if this incident would not have happened or if the woman Jen would have treated me differently when I came to her with my concerns things would have been much different... Within an hour of getting home I started taking pictures of my hands and my feet to send to my husband he asked how it went and if I was happy since Its been almost 2 years since I was able to spend the money on getting myself a pedicure as well as having my nails done. By then my feet are already starting to swell and turn red, I have sensitive skin so i washed my feet in my own bathtub incase it was the soap/location they used. I thought Things would be back to normal in a few hours BOY I WAS I WRONG!! Within the NEXT FEW HOURS I developed swelling on the sides and bottom of my feet. Blisters that were BEYOND painful and I couldn't even walk for 3 days. About 48 hours after my appointment I called the salon and asked her if she had accidentally used bleach at any point in the foot bath as I am very allergic to it and was hoping maybe this was just a bad allergic reaction versus an infection. She swore that was not the case and I did let her know I'm glad to hear so because bleach is not able to be used in a salon setting as I am also a licensed cosmetologist (please keep that in mind) SHE TOLD ME TO COME BACK IN and she would look at everything going on "and fix it" ( not sure why but it seems like good customer service) this is on day 4 after service..... I came to see her since it didn't seem to be an allergic reaction at this point since nothing went away and now two of my nails that she had just done 4 days prior were peeling and bubbling as if she had used extremely heavy polish that did not dry all the way and made a bubble and burst on top of my nail. I get there and she refused to fix my nails (2 fingers had 4 day old polish that was already blistering/ peeling) she screamed that because I smoke that is why my nails are doing that and that's my fault not hers. And yes I do smoke but I don't smoke with both hands and electronic cigarettes conduct no heat so I'm still confused how that would make my nail polish fall off in certain spots. She told me that my blisters were not real and that it was not her fault and why did I come back there she was screaming and being an overall tyrant. She said she would give me a refund back if I went and got medical treatment but I didn't want to do all that because I just wanted her to look and tell me what she thought was wrong it is her job to be able to identify issues with the feet the nail bed and the skin of the feet! (again I am a licensed cosmetologist who is able to do hair skin and nail services) I did go to the local emergency room and since I do not have insurance in the state of Virginia I am now about $1000 in debt for services as well as waiting on that refund from her. The blisters went away about two weeks later and I was not able to wear shoes or do really anything without screaming in pain as I tried to walk! so be careful and go anywhere else beside this HELL WHOLE! read more

So, I've come here once before & absolutely loved the way that my nails were done. I figured, since I'm in town again, I'd visit the same place. Once again, I was not disappointed! I needed a last minute appointment & Jennifer did such a good job! She's very gentle with the nail drill & is very nice & the nails turned out exactly the way I pictured. The manicure tools used to remove cuticles were rusted, crusty, but they assured me they were clean. The bowls to soak in were all opaque from apparently never being washed, dust and dirt everywhere and overall very very dirty place. The ladies were nice but there was no desire or care to clean their area before or after each customer. I would hope the department of health or consumer affairs would drop them a visit for an inspection. Ladies- look around the place and see for yourselves. I went in for gels and a manicure and they removed old gel fine. But I wonder if the lady was even licensed. She did not do the process correctly, when I left I was NOT impressed but more upset because the nail lengths were all uneven, she did a crappy job with the polish and the next day I had 2 snags on my blouse because the polish had lifted from the ends on 2 Nails. Never ever going back or do I recommend to anyone. Go somewhere else!! read more

I left a location and came here and im so glad! As soon as i entered i was greeted and taken immediately. The ladies here are very kind! I enjoyed them both. The first thing you notice when you walk in is how shockingly dirty this place is. Also, the 6 colors you can choose from on their wall is pathetic. After picking a color I didn't want, I sat down and not even 2 minutes in, she hurt me with the Dremel after I repeatedly said "please be careful". She looked clueless after she hurt me to the point of tears, so I immediately just got out of my chair and left. read more

I stopped here to get powder dip for my nails plus a pedi and a bit of waxing. I also had a 15 minute chair massage which was lovely. The nail techs are not experienced with the powder process, and did not start with the base powder. Within 24 hours all of my nails had split, cracked and chipped. I had to find another shop to redo all of them. The workers were very nice. They need more education. read more

Just horrible. The lady who did my nails completely ruined my already full set of nails. On my way back to Woodbridge I stopped for a call, then decided to maybe save time get my nails done here. What a mistake, I can't begin to say how bad the salon ruined my already decent acrylic nails. She asked if I wanted them cut down and I said "yes" just a little. So what should have been a trim, fill-in and simple polish looked like short, pointy, stubby arrows with a horrible coat of red polish. I was so upset and disgusted that I didn't want to spend another moment trying to tell her to fix it. Not to mention the shape is so crooked it looks like she did it blindfolded. Fair prices. The place is more on the clean end than some others in the area and their work is very good. The reason for the four stars is because they tend to get fairly busy and don't ever seem to have enough staff on hand to offset the customer flow. read more
