This is my second time visiting Lee nails. My husband brought me $100 gift certificate to get my nails done with them. I showed up with a picture and a color exactly what I wanted. I was there for two hours and the nail tech decided to do whatever design he wanted to do which was no design. I paid $10 extra for a tip so a total of $110 just to get natural nails And told to come back the next day to get what I wanted to do done that was very unprofessional. So my bonus daughter went Lee nails & spa and showed the technician what she wanted (very simple manicure), what she got was nothing like it and the gel/nails are uneven, tips are turned up, and not the correct color. When she asked for it to be corrected they (the manager) told her no and would only repaint her nails. She asked for a refund and they told her no. Bad customer service! Very rude!! Went there last Saturday for the first time to get my manicure and pedicure done, staff were very nice that's a plus but my pedicure is like a horror, nails have a different shape, some are oval some are square and some of them are who knows what, nail polish looks like was so thick and it's not even. So I went here to get my mani and pedi done for the second time with my son who is 4-years-old and while getting my pedicure done and my son being a child he can't set still and my son he doesn't like keeping his mask on so I have to make sure it's on him at all time so I guess it irritated the owner he has really bad attitude this isn't my first time noticing how bad his attitude was I seen it my first time being there but he wasn't the one that was doing my nails. So he tells me that I can't get my nails done because of my child. And I feel like if there are no children allowed he should have assigned that says so. Unfortunately no stars from me. I wish I could use 0 stars. I usually like to leave good Yelp reviews but this has been an unsettling experience. Walked in with my daughter to get 2 pedis- they said sure no problem. That quickly escalated into a rushed painful service. Water was way to hot- got mad when I requested to cool it off. Also was using the scrub/exfoliant on my legs and ankles not on my feet at all... I told him he was pushing so hard and he kept giving me attitude like it was my fault. He was digging into my toes with the nipper I kept pulling away he kept making faces at me. I said it hurts please stop. My toes were sore on my vacation the next day. Probably shouldn't have massage chairs if you won't let me use it...Polish didn't even last two days..I've had pedicures where the polish lasted months! Not impressed. Not relaxing. Got a pedicure. Didn't clip my nails or file them to shape them. Could have painted them better at home. Massage was nice as was the staff

Went for polish color change. My tech doesn't paint the whole nail and this color is not what I chose. It's gel polish and I didn't want to repeat the process. So I'll deal with it now but when I asked repeatedly for her to paint the whole nail she may or may not have understood the English language regardless we won't be back. We were there 2 weeks ago for a girls day birthday and they acted like we were wasting their time. Very sad...also a few girls did have complaints about their manicures as well. Good place but nothing to rave about. This husband and wife-owned salon has a big selection of colors and designs/patterns. You will be seated and taken care of even without an appointment. Having been there a few times, it is different every time. Some of the downsides to keep in mind are their "assistants", who are very inexperienced and it will show in their work. The young girls will take a long time and the polish will be streaky, too thick or too thin. The wife does take a preference to some clients, mainly the ones who leave large tips. Everyone else she touches she rushes through the work and it turns out bad too. I've gone to the husband who is much friendlier and does great work. Another thing is the pedis, for $30 all they do is trim your nails, massage and apply polish. There is no cleaning or actual pedi work done aside from filing. I've yet to find a good, consistent place in Kenosha but I keep coming back to this one as it's the only one that stays on my nails for weeks and not 2 days. read more

Unfortunately, can't give zero. Went in for a fill, just cause they had Sunday hours. Nails are lumpy, misshapen, different lengths, there is still color from before under the acrylic, there are chunks of acrylic missing, my real nails are sticking out of the sides. I chose not to get polish cause I didn't want the guy to touch me after I saw what he had done when he had me wash my hands. Then he tried to over charge me for a fill and still charged full price even though ​​​​​​​​​​​​they weren't finished completely. I tried to polish them at home to hide the mess he made but polishing them just made all of his mistakes more visible and burned all of the areas where he cut my fingers. My go to nail salons were booked and Lee nails was my last option but they took me in right away which I loved. Got a full set and a pedicure. Pedicure was my fav part he took his time and did the best he could do for my toes, I wish I got his name so I could recommend him! My manicure tho.... Terrible. She didn't even let me be done with my pedicure she started to do my nails in the pedicure chair next to me making me turn half my body (which is uncomfortable and causes me to move when some ones scrubbing my feet) it just felt rushed and it turned out to be a bad job. asked for a French tip square and it was lumpy, uneven, thick, all kinds of messed up I never ever had a nail experience this bad. After I said I didn't like the French tip I told her to just paint the whole nail pink and she said "too late". Instead of fixing it she just went over it and barely removed the French tip making it uneven and lumpy. Definitely a lesson learned, ended up paying $100 with out tip but yeah never again. I've been going to this salon for a few months. I have acrylic nails- which requires fills every 2-3 weeks. In the past three visits the price has gone up every time. I even wrote the price in my notes and showed them when the price was different. I guess they don't realize there are dozens of other salons in Kenosha. Lynn's work is average but the others in the salon provide less than adequate jobs. I had the worst pedicure of my life by Tom at Lee Nails. I'm astonished that I was charged an extra $5 to take off my no chip polish. I went in for a regular pedicure and no chip manicure. When I checked out the owner charged me ab additional $5 to remove my old polish. I have had non chip manicure for years and in various locations and salons, and Never have I been charged to have it removed. I can see that if I just went in to have the polish removed that there would be a service change. Needless to say I will never be back read more

I moved here from San Francisco two months ago and have been looking to find a nail place. I chose this place because it looked clean and although the prices are MUCH higher than they are in SF, they were comparable to the area. It was my birthday so I was treating myself and decided to get a French manicure. It was the WORST French manicure, and possibly just manicure over all, I've ever had. The woman did it quickly and honestly, my boyfriend could have just taken white out and painted the tips of my nails like she did. I should have just said something then but I didn't because the pedicure didn't seem that bad. The foot massage was good (didn't get much of a hand massage at all). However, as I was waiting for my toe nails to dry, they wanted to fill my seat so they put my sandals on and told me my toes were dry. They weren't and they smudged about an hour later. Then, I used my debit card, which they charged me $2 to do. I've heard of a $0.50 charge, but $2.00?!?!? Anyway, my manicure chipped by that night so I went back the next day and asked them to touch them up. I could tell they were annoyed, they did a horrible job by just painting over the parts that chipped off and then had the nerve to tell me that I should have put clear polish on when i got home. Um, what?! I've been getting French manicures for more than 10 years and it's never chipped within a few hours and I've never been told I should have done something at home. Honestly, my first mistake was going here to begin with. I have only ever gotten a pedicure here and typically they do a decent job. One thing I have noticed is the staff seem to always have an attitude. The ONLY person who is EVER pleasant is the younger female. With that being said, she always does a nice job on my pedis. I took a gamble today by getting a full acrylic set and they're terrible. I didn't really notice how bad they are until I left. My shape looks terrible and bulky. I believe they need to learn to take their time and actually put some passion into their work. To the young female, keep doing your thing and I suggest finding a better job. I went there to get a few things done (toes & fingers) and had previously had acrylic nails I had gotten somewhere else and was paying to get them taken off. First, my nails were not soaked the nail tech just started ripping them off which is painful enough, then the nail tech started going on and on about how it wasn't their fault I was in pain & my nails were tearing off, and that its the other nail places fault. First of all, I am spending fifty dollars in your place of business, and I am paying extra for you to take my nails off, I don't need to hear grief from you that I went somewhere else to get my nails done. I was already in pain and I asked the nail tech to please stop saying that because I was getting very frustrated. No surprise here, I heard the same thing about 3 more times before I walked out of there before my nails were even dry. As someone who has worked in retail for 8 years, I would never badger a customer that they went somewhere else. I will never go near there again. read more

She asked for her cuticles to be done and he refused! She asked for off white and as you can see they are bubble gum pink. When she asked to have them taken off he said he was charging her 30.00 to do so. He then passed her on to someone else who also messed up her toes. I called and asked for manager for his name because she was so upset and forced to pay for this service and didn't get when she left almost in tears! When I asked him his name he hung up on me! Never ever go to this place! 68.00 and they need to be redone! The owner of this business should be ashamed to have this man as an employee. I hope the owner sees this work and fires him. Fucking horrible!!! Worst nail salon in Kenosha!! The owner Nina, is very rude. I just got a full set not even a week ago and 3 of my nails popped off. So i called to see if she would fix them (for free of course because i just got them done!!) she said yes. But as soon as she began ripping my nails off she said i would have to pay...which is very unprofessional. She always makes up spontaneous prices for however she is feeling. I've been going to them for about 9 months and not once have i felt like a valued customer!!! I'm new to The Kenosha area and was out on the hunt for a new nail salon. When I walked in I was astounded by how many nailpolish colors they had! They even had design nail tips which I have been looking for everywhere. The lady who did my nails I presumed was the "boss", did a wonderful job! She even went so far as to put designs and rhinestones on my nails at no extra cost which was amazing. She really listened to what I wanted. I will definitely be back! read more

First time in this town decided to get a pedicure and a dip powder first they don't even greet you when you walk in second they don't even ask you details of what shape or length you want for your nails. While getting my pedicure done I had black nail polish on and they barely remove the nail polish all the borders of my toes were black they continue to add the new nail polish on. This place has no idea how to work with dip powder my fingers look like bubbles and wave I nicely asked them to please remove it because I did not want it anymore and of course the male and the female working at this place blew up and we're very rude about the situation they continue to tell me that they did nothing wrong and that I was just being picky they proceeded to start yelling And arguing about the situation they finally started removing the horrible job they did on my nails by the end of the visit I left from there with bleeding hands. I am an out of town visitor and my mom and I went to Lee's for an afternoon pedi and mani. The place was clean and we were brought back for our pedicures right away. The women that did the pedicures were very good at getting us "healthy feet", even with some good in between care advise. The only real disappointment was that it seemed as if they were not wanting to be there. We tried to converse with them during the treatment. After several attempts at talking to the woman doing mine, she finally opened up a bit. Unfortunately, she asked me a question and while I was answering, she greeted a woman (seemly a friend) that walked in the door with conversation. She even walked away from me to go get fish food for the little girl the lady brought in to feed the fish. She didn't excuse herself or even pay any attention to me for the 10 minutes the visitor was there for. It would have not been an issue except I felt it was rude she cut me off mid sentence. My mom had the same awkward silence, and gave up trying to ask any questions. The women working spent more time chatting back and forth in a language we could not understand and that also made the experience uncomfortable. I would recommend bringing a good book and some headphones with you if you plan a trip to Lee. I will not return there and neither will my mom, who lives near by. I work in the service industry and am a performance based tipper and tipped accordingly, however I am a believer that if you receive what you pay for, it should be at least minimum gratuity. read more
