Too hard and intimidating when she focuses on being super sweet all the time. A service is a service. The bill isn't cheap. Not thrilled as we all know eyebrows don't grow back fast. I almost never do anything for myself, I really haven't been in a salon since I was a child. I also never really learned how to take care of my curl pattern, and hid behind buns and braids all my life because I felt so ugly. I was also so very worried to lose any length because my late mother was so very attached to my long hair. But Lexi made me feel so heard, listened to, cared for and so very pretty. She made sure I could see every snip and talked me through it so I didn't feel as guilty. She didn't make me feel stupid at all for not knowing how to take care of my texture, she explained it so kindly and patiently. She and every lady in that salon that interacted with my friend and I were so very lovely. Thank you for everything, girls.

BEST REVIEW EVER!…read more PLUS SIZE FRIENDLY SPA'S ARE RARE! THIS IS A GEM!!! So let me start off saying I have aimlessly bounced from one salon to the next never feeling quite at home like the feel I had with my place I had 200 miles away UNTIL last night!!! Moda Bella was so inviting! So quaint and charming in not only the decor but just as they welcome you. I had no idea what to expect from my stylist as I had no referral to her I just randomly picked this place and I was randomly placed with Amanda. I showed her a picture and she went to work. It came out perfectly!!! She even upsold me with a pedicure IN A PEFECT CHAIR while my hair processed. It worked out perfectly! Next was my waxing session with Lacey. Lacey was meticulous! Brows, under arms and the dreaded yet so beneficial Brazilian! Being plus size is already some what of a challenge when you are getting used to someone being all up in your business let alone finding a comfortable position. NOT a problem for Lacey though she made me feel right at home and so comfortable. I run a plus size group with over 2500 people in it locally to the region I will be telling them all! Thank you so much to the owners who really put some real thought behind every detail to make it all sizes comfortable!

The stylists are fantastic and really good at what they do the only issue is the boss/manager.. she's very controlling and not the nicest when it comes to helping her other stylists. I had a horrible experience due to her not listening to my stylist choosing proper colors which led to (boss deciding to take over cause she just felt like it) turned my highlights BRIGHT orange when we agreed with my stylist we were trying to go for a nice deep auburn. I felt horrible not just for my hair but for my stylist.- before I got to this conclusion I figured she knew what she was doing anyways so I didn't see it as a big deal, she even looked at the photos and said 'oh yeah, I know what to do I know what we're going for, she needs these mixes instead' my stylist went back and forth with her about the colors she chose but the manager insisted on her pick. This is probably the harshest review I've ever done but I still can't believe it happened to me. I hope if she does she this review it's just a small reminder to 'stay in your lane' and trust your coworker's decisions when they're one on one with their own clients. Luckily I was able to get it redone and done properly without the stress of the manager coming around and wanting to take over again.
