I have been going here on and off for over a year but I won't be going back. Yesterday I went for a pedicure and after awhile I was feeling uncomfortable. It seems like they have slacked off on their safety procedures at a time when the rates are really high. Lee did not take my temp or anyone that came after me. They were not wiping off the nail color books after each customer handled them. A couple young women came in with their kids who were running around, going from chair to chair, handling the color books. With COVID they should not allow customers with kids unless the girls are getting their nails done. They don't have plastic barriers at the spa chairs like other salons do. Plus the last that did my toes cut too close on my right big toe, which hurt and bled. She just kept dabbing it without saying sorry. When she was done I asked for a flower or leaf and she didn't want to do it, I think because there was someone else waiting. I was really disappointed in this salon. read more

For a first time customer I can honestly say that I will be returning and I would recommend it to all my friends/family. Granted I don't go often to get manicures or pedicures but my experience at Lee Nails was excellent! My husband and I walked in and we were greeted with a warm welcome. Even though they were busy they accommodated us to soak our feet and sit in the massage chairs while we waited. They made us feel welcomed and even chatted and laughed with us. We both walked out of there feeling refreshed and pampered. Considering what our nails looked like before, I'd say the did an extraordinary job. Very bad experience. I asked her to take off my acrylic nails and while doing so, she literally ripped off 2 of my actual nails. Then I asked for white nail polish and it was done HORRIBLY. First time here. When I first searched for a good nail salon this one popped up with a 4.0. I thought wow that rating is hard to find especially in Escondido. So I went in and my first impression was great. Clean facility and warm introduction. However I told her I wanted a manicure with acrylics and so I sat down right away and then was told I never said acrylic, after being made fun of by them they then proceeded with my nails. I came here because of the great reviews. I walked in an was greeted and told it would be about 15 min, I was ok with that. I was then asked to sit in a massage chair to wait, AWESOME! Once the lady started working on my toes (should have caught her name but you know with as much as she wanted to talk to me (not at all) idk when that would have happened) when she started to remove my polish I noticed a cut on my toe and asked her to be careful around it. She exclaims "I haven't even started cutting your nails" I said, I know, I didn't say it was your fault, I just asked you to be mindful of it. She must have hit the cut every single time she touched my left foot, and then proceed to AGAIN exclaim "you got that at home" I said "I know, I did not say you did it. I'm asking you not to touch it" then we move to my hands....she was not happy that I asked her to recut my cuticles, but she missed so much. Overall my nails are a 2/5 (thus the stars) and I will not return. She didn't listen to me when I asked her to keep the shape, and was annoyed when I was being picky. I'm sorry but I am paying for a service, I want it done right. None the less, the final straw was when she threw my debit card on the counter. So I had gotten a filling done and pedicure and well pedicure was painful the person doing my pedicure thought I had an ingrown nail and she kept trying to take it out when nothing was there and I am not being racist in anyway but she was limited to English I believe because she had people translate for her when she had to speak to customers or customer requesting something. But until the owner came into doing my pedicure for one toenail I told her it hurts that she's digging in and pulling and that when she told her to stop to this day my big toes still hurt. And for the filling I already have gotten 2 nails that fell off and the gel is just coming off the nails. read more

absolutely never coming here again. 3 out of my 10 nails have a green fungus on them. when the nail tech noticed it she was quick to say that it didn't come from their salon even though it's the only one i've been to and they put on my acrylics. she tired to buff it out and soaked it in acetone and sent me on my way. they are very disorganized, don't follow the appointment book and have not been following covid protocol. save your time, money, and nails and find a better salon. read more
