For some reason, this time I was assigned movers who seemed to have absolutely no sense of urgency. They moved extremely slowly throughout the entire process, to the point that even the leasing agent on the 1st flr commented on how long they were holding up the elevator and potentially damaging it by just having it ait idle and open. Even after that, there still didn't seem to be any urgency to move things along. What was especially frustrating was that instead of one person going downstairs to grab the next item while the other continued working, they seemed to insist on waiting for their partner before going back down. Then they left the dresser just siting outside instead of bringing it in ehich added more time instead of just doing it the first time. My bf was helping some as well because we had to hurry things along. There were several moments where the process could have been much more efficient, but they simply lacked the urgency and teamwork I had experienced with this company previously. The biggest disappointment is that I KNOW what good service from this company looks like. The first two times I used them, I had the same two movers, and they were absolutely amazing, efficient, professional, and constantly moving. If I had those same movers again, I would gladly pay the price because the service was worth it. Unfortunately, these last two movers completely changed my opinion of the company. It's not even about the price. I would rather pay more for good service than pay less and watch a move drag on because there is a lack of urgency. My advice to anyone using this company: take pictures and videos throughout your move, especially when you notice things that appear inefficient or careless. I say this because the company may tell you afterward that the movers worked efficiently, but I have personally experienced what efficient service from this company looks like--and this was not it. I still believe this can be a great company, which is why I'm so disappointed. I went from recommending them to people to seriously questioning whether I would ever use them again. Hopefully management takes this feedback seriously, because the quality of the movers can completely change a customer's experience with an otherwise great company. Also one thing is the guy in blue did try and maybe he was hinder by his partner but still you gotta get better pairs together when it comes to this type of work.

Moving is never an easy or enjoyable process, but the Einstein team made it as smooth and stress-free as possible. The movers were incredibly professional, efficient, careful, and courteous from start to finish. I have several antiques and delicate glass and china pieces, and I was extremely impressed that everything arrived safely with no damage. There was a minor mishap involving my printer, but their claims department responded immediately and handled the situation professionally. Their willingness to quickly address the issue and make things right was another example of their excellent customer service. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, Einstein Movers will be my first call. Thank you for making a difficult experience such a positive one!

Due to financial constraints, I decided to store my things locally for now while I relocated. I'm someone who's huge on reviews (non-incentivized) and personal experiences people have with a company or product, so Einstein caught my eye. From the first conversation with the representative when I called, I knew I was in good hands. The conversation was calm, every step was explained, emails and communication was fluid thru moving day. The truck was much bigger than I was expecting as well as the ramp placement at the side of the truck vs the rear which made me nervous, but luckily we were able to make it work in my apartment complex. Sully and Kenan were friendly and understanding overall. Asked questions along the way as needed, and took some of the stress away from what typically comes with a moving day (especially when it comes to this being my first time moving things into a storage unit). I do have to note that the move may have finished sooner had one movers not been out of commission by his lunch choice longer than expected... Also, seeing the feet of my couch during the move has me a bit nervous about how they'll look when I remove my furniture from the unit. From a few feet away when I saw them on the cargo elevator and being placed into the unit, they seemed like they were angled and scratched a bit from positioning during transport. The email after my move stated that I can inform them if I notice any damages, whenever it may be, so I'll have to do a thorough check when I next access or move-out of the unit. Other than that, I would for sure use them again, possibly even for when it's time for that move-out. I recommend this company as an affordable choice for a local move if all the movers are similar to Sully & Kenan who helped with mine. Thanks guys!

BEWARE - BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRICING!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with this company deserves one. I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.

All documentation was provided on time, and the movers arrived as scheduled. I had my items moved from Los Angeles, CA to Dallas, Texas in a POD. Unfortunately, my TV was damaged during the move (unclear if it was from the POD, but I doubt that since the TV was against the king size mattress). One of the movers later stated that he had noticed damage to the TV box when he unloaded the tv from POD but did not bring it to my attention at the time, which was very disappointing. However, the owner Joey, took the situation seriously and handled it with genuine empathy and accountability. I was extremely frustrated from the move (it's really a lot to handle) and Joey was kind and patient as he listed to me explain what happened. He suspended the team member involved, made it clear that he wanted to put the customer first, and worked with me to make things right. After I provided the original receipt for my TV, he sent me a check for its full original purchase price and did not waste time to go through insurance. I didn't buy additional insurance, so at most if Joey had went through insurance, I would have received $40/$50 back for my tv at $0.60/lb. He said he wanted to make sure we reached an agreement that felt fair. I truly appreciate Joey's customer first mindset. Although the damage was frustrating, I greatly appreciated how Joey responded. He's been in business for 25 years and stated that accidents happen and what he cares for the most is customer satisfaction. His integrity, compassion, and willingness to stand behind his company ultimately left me with a positive impression. I would highly recommend Eagle Movers and I will definitely be using their services again in the future!

The pricing was very competetive and the paperwork clearly stated the guidelines for preparation of my belongings and the expectations on moving day. I was fortunate enough to get the A team headed up by Jorge and his crew Darwin, Omar, Marcus, Steve and Jacob. I highly recommend this company.

While the movers themselves were…read morecourteous and professional, my extreme dissatisfaction stems from the significant damage to multiple valuable household items during the move, and the subsequent, completely unacceptable lack of customer service and claims resolution process after the move. The damages include: a chipped bed frame with a missing peg, a broken socket on a standing floor lamp (rendering it unusable), a severed knob on my treadmill (creating a safety hazard), and a punctured bookcase with a missing peg. It's important to note that these items were expertly wrapped by Black Tie Movers' staff, not in customer-packed cartons, which makes any questions about "carton damage" irrelevant to my situation. Following the move, I have made over four persistent attempts to resolve these issues, primarily through my assigned representative, Noah. These attempts have been met with a frustrating pattern of unresponsiveness, contradictory information, and ultimately, a complete failure to initiate or confirm a claims process. Noah initially promised me a call from claims (which never happened). When I tried again, he claimed not to have received my calls. Out of desperation, I then contacted customer service, who immediately sent me back to Noah, stating that claims don't typically make outgoing calls - effectively trapping me in an unhelpful circle. After being redirected, Noah then requested photos on February 9th, promising to file a claim on my behalf. However, since then, there has been no communication, follow-up, or confirmation of any claim being filed. I am expressing extreme frustration and anger over this profound lack of accountability, the disregard for my belongings, and the completely unsatisfactory post-move customer support, especially given the significant cost of the service and the generous tip I provided. Furthermore, I find the online claims process to be a deterrent, with limitations on photo uploads and irrelevant questions about carton damage. As a return/repeat customer, I am particularly disappointed by this experience. I demand an immediate resolution and fair compensation for the damages to my property.
