I have been waiting three weeks for Lee Joseph to fulfill the appointment they promised. Just now they called to tell me I was not important enough to do so. They said they had new clients and I would have to look else where. They offered to recommend someone. For complete clarity, I have been waiting as of 2014. Aaron was a wonderful technetium that working for Lee Joseph, he had to leave after he suffered a bran aneurism. Just before this happened he was scheduled to replace the circuit board on my Jacuzzi. I have the circuit board and have called Lee Joseph over the last 6 years for instillation. They have been around for a very long time so I thought that meant something. I was their client from 2001 to 2021, when I guess I became insignificant with only a spa shower and outdoor spa. read more

Lee Joseph is the worst company I've ever done business with they took forever to return my calls and they installed a part in my hot tub that i didn't even need. They came back and got the part and left my hot tub worse than it was before. I would absolutely not recommend them to anybody at anytime. read more

When I bought my house I was thrilled that there was a hot tub in the backyard- my mom advised me to have a stipulation of the sale be that the seller has the tub removed... I thought 'no way, mom. A hot tub will be awesome.' Wrong!! I made a terrible decision. It's been the biggest headache of my entire home remodel- constantly having issues. I spent an entire month filling it every other day in the dead of winter since I couldn't drain it with the risk of pipes freezing without all of the water drained out, and I couldn't let the water level get too low because I didn't want the pump or heater to burn up. OMG what a disaster I've been through. But Do you know the easiest way to keep a garden hose from freezing in the winter?? I do! I stored it in my hot tub! Jokes aside- I called Lee Joseph to help with my leak issue. I had to remove the siding to avoid a hefty bill which was fine because I learned a lot about power tools and removing stripped out screws.... (Okay maybe they were stripped because of me- whoops) Lee Joseph came out promptly and repaired the leak. I can finally relax. I'm actually enjoying my hot tub for the first time thanks to Lee Joseph! I felt that their pricing was incredibly fair considering they drove over 40 miles round trip to fix the leak. I hope I don't have to call them again- but they will always be my first choice if I do need any other repairs! read more

As I'm sitting here writing this I'm trying to think of things that are more worthless than this company... You might think being stranded on a glacier (pronounced glaz-e-r in the UK and Australia) with a 150lb bag of ice might be more worthless than Lee Joseph Pool & Hot Tub Service... and you'd be wrong. The ice could be used as a pillow, or to reduce the swelling on a bruise you may have received from lugging a 150lb bag of ice around. This company was referred to me as an approved warranty repair center for the spa I purchased a little over a year ago. I called the manufacturer with fault code in hand and they referred me this company. I called Lee Joseph and they gave me the run around. Lee Joseph tells me the spa company wont reimburse them for the trouble shooting of the problem, not my problem if you're an approved warranty repair place, work that out with them. I give the woman at Lee Joseph the fault code on the display and the corresponding troubleshoot remedy in the owners manual. She says she'll order the part described as being faulty according the manual and hopefully that will solve the problem. Two weeks later and nobody can remember me. I called back and get passed around a few times and then the woman I originally spoke to remembers me now, and tells me "Oh yeah, your spa warranty wasn't registered, you have to register it first." Okay, not her problem, but when she discovered that wouldn't it be a good idea to call me so I can take care of it? And note to Master Spa owners, if you bought a Master Spa from one of their road shows, go online and register your spa. So, I go online and register my spa. Thennnn nothing. Call Master Spa's on July first and they call Lee Josephs. Lee Josephs tells Master Spa's they won't be able to make it out until the 8th. Master Spa's notes that in their computer and call me to tell me I should be hearing from Lee Josephs shortly (the first of July). Here were are on the 13th of July. I call Master Spas and they re-read me the notes from July first, the Master Spa rep tells me he'll call Lee Josephs and see what's going on. Lee Joseph's employee says "I'll be more than happy to call the customer". Which she did, to tell me that they're no longer going to do Master Spa warranty work. Why didn't she just tell the Master Spa rep that they have no intention of doing anymore warranty work for them? Why did she tell the rep she'd be happy to call me, only to tell me they don't want the business? If she had just told the Master Spa rep she didn't want to work for them anymore he could find another factory approved warranty repair place and I can get my spa fixed? And I wouldn't be writing this review. Call this company as a last resort. In fact, if you know a guy that's strung out on crack and knows nothing about hot tubs but can spell the word "hot tub", call him first. read more

If I could give a minus star I would! This company is terrible!!! They over charge for everything! I was having a problem with my heater turning on and off. They came out and "looked" at the heater. After spending a few hours changing the wiring around they said it would no longer come on at all and I needed a new heater. Because they wanted almost $4,000 to install a new heater. I called another company to give me a second quote. They came back with a price of $2,800. completely installed and vents added to the pool house, for the SAME NAME BRAND and SIZE heater. Lee Joseph said the price was different because the "other" company was not licensed...Well on the contrary. They are licensed and further more the newly installed heater has a two year warranty, not just the one year Lee Joseph was offering. Needless to say I went with the "other" company to purchase and install the new heater. To make things worse I had already agreed to let Lee Joseph handle my weekly service at what was supposed to be about $65.00 a visit., Well... they said the pool needed some additional chemicals Everything was running perfectly before I went out of town for twenty-two days. I left on July 3 and returned on July 25th. I told Lee Joseph that I would be out of the country for these dates. I left them a credit card that they were to charge for services rendered although I had NOT received one single invoice at that time. By July 22 my daughter text me that the pool was turning GREEN, she had just called Lee Joseph and got a reply that the credit card number they had was not "good" and the bill was not paid, if they got a new credit card they would service the pool. My business manager called them back and gave them another credit card to charge the Less then one months charges on..... They immediately put through a charge of $992.71; this was for them taking apart my old heater to "look" at for $250.00, servicing the pool from 6/11-7/7. $65.00 x 6.5 hours= $487.50, and $236.91 for chemicals. My question is? How did the pool turn GREEN within 15 days with that much service and chemicals used (from 7/7-7/22)? After they charged my credit card they said they would not service my pool any longer due to another company installing the new heater!!!!!! This was a shock to me because the heater was installed the end of June several days before I left the country, why wouldn't they have refused to service the pool at that time? And the only reason they gave as to why it turned GREEN was that they could NOT charge the credit card July 7. when they say they last serviced the pool. I call total BS!!!! Shame on you Lee Joseph Pool Service. I had the "other" pool company come back in and service the pool and they found that the salt generator had been "unplugged" from inside the equipment. Once it was plugged back in and more chemicals added, the pool will be back in swimming condition within the next few days. They said it is impossible the salt generator equipment accidentally got unplugged. And they can't imagine why the pool would have turned GREEN in such a short time frame if it had been serviced and so many chemicals added as stated by Lee Joseph. read more

I stopped into Lee Joseph recently to get a water test done, as my hot tub was looking a little cloudy and had an odd smell to it. I showed up just as they were trying to close up, but instead of turning me away, the employees there were happy to stay a little longer and help me out. The guy that was working performed my water test for free and was really friendly the whole time. Without trying to sell me on anything, he gave me some directions to fix the problem. If you don't want to end up with funky water, I recommend you talk to the professionals here instead of trying to do it yourself with the cheap Walmart stuff. If I ever need bigger repairs done, I will definitely be calling Lee Joseph! read more

I love this neighborhood spa/pool care place. Judy and her staff have been very helpful in repairing my spa and coming over for yearly service. They taught me how to care for my spa in between and it's very helpful that they offer the Free service of bringing in your water to check your levels to make sure I am doing it correctly. The repair people that came to my house were professional and not creepy. I always get freaked out when weirdos come to my house for repairs and I did not feel that way at all with Lee Joseph. read more

So when they start they will be there for the full hr. Cleaning and scrubbing and asking things like "are you happy with the cleaning?" Honestly, we also clean our pool. Is a full hr necessary? Not really. It isnt that dirty. But my point is, they put in the effort in the beginning. Then the visits get shorter. I am not really sure how long this was going on. Until one day i noticed the exact length of the visit bc he was irate bc i had forgotten to unlock the utility door ahead of time. So he was upset that i am holding him up by him having to come to my front door and ask to open it. This extra wait time made the visit a total of exactly 11 min...they charge by the hour. Of course i am thinking it is impossible to test strip the pool ph level, come complain to me about the locked door and clean the pool in 11 min. But you know? Maybe he is super fast. Nope. All the cleaning tools are dry as a bone. So i email to complain. Just a quick message that my pool was not cleaned that week. No response. I call. They take a message and will call me back. No call. So weeks later and no response, i call to cancel service. The lady says 'ok. I will let them know. Oh...wait. Mary kay wants to talk to you' This is where things get strange. Mary kay "that is fine. We are overbooking ourselves. We dont need customers we cant keep happy. So this works out for us." Uh ok. Thanks for that Mary Kay. Not sure why Mary Kay felt like she needed to share this bit of amazing customer service. And basically everyone is asking for too much for asking them to fulfill the basic requirements of pool maintenance! So dont be demanding people! read more

This place is awesome. I am a fairly new hot tub owner and was having constant troubles keeping the water clean and balanced. I went to various places, tried all sorts of chemicals, and it just got confusing and frustrating. These people are on top of it--very friendly and helpful, and got me started on a new, easy water treatment called Spa Marvel that has worked better than anything else I have used, and it's totally chemical-free! The sales lady, Judy, is extremely personable and enthusiastic, and seems like she genuinely cares about how I care for my tub. They will also test your water free of charge if you bring in a sample, and go over the results with you, offering explanations and guidance if needed. I had the Lee Joseph people maintain my spa. At first they showed up once a month. Then they didn't show up and still charged, then they said they drained my spa, never happened but charged me for it. I complained basically they called me a liar and Judy said they will not be continuing with the service because it was too dirty for them to handle. I said what? You didn't drain it and no one has been in it for months just chemically maintain it. No fired me as a customer. Find an alternative this place really is bad!! read more
