We were also in a serious time crunch, and he went out of his way to accommodate us, which I really appreciated. One thing I respect is his strong preference for OEM American-made parts. That matters to me, and it gives me confidence my truck will keep running strong for another 250k miles. He's also upfront about the value of his time--he charges for inspection and for sourcing parts, but that's because he's putting in the effort to give you an accurate, reliable repair quote. 3 power steering pumps and STILL THE NOISE???? I was referred to Lee And Sons Alignment Services by another reputable company in Fullerton. I called and had to make an appointment for a couple weeks later. THAT'S JUST HOW IS IT SOMETIMES FOLKS. Dropped off my vehicle early to give them plenty of time to diagnose the issue, gave then full approval if another pump would be needed. I brought my 1990 bronco in. I had some work done for a cheap price and couldn't figure out why the truck wouldn't drive straight afterwards. Jeff was able to diagnose that the ball joints were the problem and that vehicle needed the OEM Spicer joints. This was information not available from regular shops. It's been about a month now and the Bronco is still steering well. I also remember in 1992, I took my '82 Supra in to have the a bent frame fixed. I was 16, and they were called B-line. I took my 2010 F350 4x4 to these guys . By far , the best alignment ive ever had . Not only did they align it , but they also adjusted my steering box to reduce some of the steering "slop" i had . The truck drives better than the day i bought it . When it came time to the bill i was surprised it was under what he has quoted . Thats something rare in and of itself .. considering every time ive taken a vehicle in for repair it always costs more . Both guys were very knowledgeable and right to the point. My Honda Odyssey had a hard pull to the left. I had three other outfits align the front end, but the problem remained and I was out $300 and stuck with a car that still pulled hard to the left. I took it to Lee and sons Alignment service. Jeff was very helpful, took a lot of his time to sort out the problem, figured out it was the tires, not a front alignment problem at all. I went to Lee & Son when my wife complained her Mini Cooper was having steering issues. It was pulling to one side and vibrating badly. I immediately thought alignment and found this company on Apple Maps. I was ready to leave the car with them so they could do the alignment, when the mechanic decided to take a quick look at the tires (just as I should have before assuming alignment - shame on me!) It turns out the drivers side de front tire was badly worn, down to the canvas, and needed replacing immediately. This is one of the best places I've gone for any auto service. It's too bad they only do front-end work! I've been here twice, with two different cars, and they handily worked on both of them with no issue (not that I expected otherwise). It usually takes two days or so for them to complete the work, but it's worth it. They usually have so many people bringing their vehicles there, including the Fullerton Police. The owner reminds me of my father in a way, so I suppose that's why I felt so comfortable here. That thought aside though, both the owner and his son who I talked to on the separate occasions were very honest and very forthright. Even after assuming which parts I need that could most likely make them more money, they said it wasn't worth it and recommended a different part that turned out to be a better idea anyway. Lee is the best. He installed disk brakes on my 66 Dodge Dart. He was a trooper because the kit that I bought and gave him was not 100% compatible with the rims on the car. Lee and his team scratch, clawed, and fought until it was all together and driving smooth down the road. I would recommend Lee and guys at Lee and Sons.
