So I needed some spark plugs replaced on my car but I have some trust issues with mechanics (burnt twice already on upselling and unnecessary fixes by other mechanics). Wonderful experience! I loved working with Elyse and Mitch. I needed a pretty comprehensive tuneup for my car and was able to get a detailed, itemized quote from them by contacting them through Instagram messenger. When I confirmed I was good with the price and was ready to move forward, we switched to texting and set a date and a time. They charged me a small fee to drive from Fullerton out to Long Beach but it was so worth it! They were courteous, communicative, and prompt. They brought all the parts and fluids with them so I didn't have to provide a thing. As they finished, Elyse texted me some photos of some wear and tear they had discovered on my shocks, and recommended I get them replaced sooner rather than later. They weren't at all pushy about it -- their tone was of education, not salesmanship. They also took my car for a drive and were able to identify the source of a humming sound it had been making -- something I hadn't even asked them to do! The best part, though, was that they did all of this at my home! I could just go about my day and not have to disrupt my entire schedule to deal with car stuff. Got referred by a coworker of mine over 3 years ago. I was told by a friend that I would need a new alternator and was going to cost an arm and a leg so I was calling all around for estimates.I messaged them on instagram and told them I was pretty sure needed a new alternator.
