They were super quick, professional, and the pricing was more than fair considering they come to you. I had a few pairs of slacks hemmed and a skirt taken in, and everything turned out great. I'm planning to try a few different style fits and some jeans next, so I'll definitely update my review after that. Highly recommend if you value convenience and quality!

I brought in my 30-year-old wedding dress to have the zipper altered for my daughter's wedding…read more This was a 'vintage' (ha ha, my daughter's word) Jessica McClintock gown and very sentimental. As someone who sews myself, I knew this was a repair beyond my comfort level. I carefully marked the adjustment with pins to show exactly where the alteration was needed. They did an amazing job--no one would ever know the zipper had been altered. The work was seamless and expertly done. Anyone who thinks the service is overpriced may not fully appreciate the skill and craftsmanship that quality tailoring requires. I found the cost to be more than fair for such exceptional work and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Hamed is a wonderful owner and tailor. I own a premium apparel company that sometimes requires…read morealterations to meet customer requirements. In each scenario, I have trusted Hamed with my company's reputation to deliver a standard of quality that will allow my customers to receive the best outcomes. He has never disappointed. I am based in Atascocita, and I randomly found him via an Apple Maps search for alterations. Out of 6 locations I called, Hamed was the most friendly and the most reasonable. Of course, everyone wants to pay bottom-dollar for services, but Hamed Alterations is both fair and comparable to others in the area (with the benefit of great customer service). I am on my 6th service request with Hamed, and he has met the timeline needs, the experience requirements, and the overall satisfaction expected for someone you entrust with your items. There's a saying, "you get what you pay for." But I also believe, you can get exceptional outcomes at reasonable prices with excellent customer service. Hamed checks all of the boxes.

I just gotta say, this tailor is by far one of my favorites. I loved the quality of the blue dress that she tailored so much, I wish I could have just found the same dress for my wedding dress in white. Usually takes a week. The two dresses, I think to hem and take in and some other cosmetic changes on the blue dress and same for my other dress and that was like $200 or so. Depending on the work, it costs more. I brought like ten jeans for hemming and a jumpsuit to take in since the legs were weirdly baggy and that was like $200. I'm willing to pay the money rather than muck it up myself. I've referred my mother as well who also is vertically challenged. A good tailor is hard to find. Will certainly be back

I've always put up with lackluster service and non competitive prices, with ok work to support…read morelocal businesses but this last visit was the last straw. Typically, the proprietor is short on words or chatty with offending comments. I mean dude is ALWAYS asking me if I took the day off if I show up on a week day during business hours, like "why?". Never fails, it's like he can't believe I have a job where I can run errands during the day. Every "chatty" day, he always wants to know what I do for a living. But I digress, on this occasion dude meandered to greet us after about three minutes of looking up, making eye contact, finished whatever he was doing for another 3 minutes or so and was like "what can I do for you?" In the most annoyed tone. I stated my daughter needed to have a hem altered and my wife needed a zipper fixed. Dude said "ok' and walked away. I instructed my daughter to go change, he came out another 5 minutes later and hastily marked her gown and again disappeared. When my daughter finished changing dude annoyingly asked if a week later was fine and rudely instructed me to "pay now."after finishing the transaction he took the pants that needed a zipper and hung them up in the walkway with the ticket for BOTH garments and left to finish whatever he was doing again without a single word. No "thank you", no "good bye" not a fucking word. Keep in mind my daughter was still standing there holding the SECOND garment. I had to grab, the pants and hang the gown with the pants to lessen the chance the two would be separated. He watched me do all of this and didn't even feign concern. I returned a week later to receive the $60 of work with pretty much the same attitude. By now I knew not to expect a shred of decorum or respect so I just handed him the ticket had my daughter try on the dress(he disappeared after handing me the garments), and walked out without a word after seeing the fit. I'm done with the place, the work has always been average at best, and the cost has always been exorbitant. Dude clearly doesn't want to work anymore and needs to sell the business and hang it up.
