They are quite generous with the toppings, and the family sized pizza is enough for the four of us. Also we have never encountered any mistakes with our orders and tonight was no exception. Their service has always been friendly, fast, and efficient. But it is their pizza is what really counts, and they do pizza right here. Well, well, well, it looks like I grocery shopped while hungry again. It was 8 pm at night and I was about to pull into the Whole Foods parking lot next door when I saw the Ledo's pizza sign and suddenly felt an overwhelming need to place a mobile order for a pepperoni pizza on my phone. The pizza was just as good as I remembered. A thin, flaky crust ... one giant thick cut pepperoni per slice and a side of cheesy Texas toast for my girly pops. It was the perfect way to kick off a busy Friday evening. The inside of the restaurant reminded me of an old school Pizza Hut. There were tons of families sharing platters of wings and pizza. Went in off hours and ordered a pizza to go. Staff was friendly and it took 15 minutes to get the pizza which was great. The veggie pizza roping were good, really liked the mushrooms and diced red onions on it. Never having had the pizza before I though it would have a thicker crust, closer to Detroit style pizza but it really reminds me of Chicago bar pizza, thin crust and cut in squares. I hate to say it, but this is hands down one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten in my life. Was it the cheap ingredients? The flat soda? The deliberate rationing of toppings? The gelatinous wing sauce? Was it made worse that it was served on a cafeteria tray instead of a pan or even a plate? It was almost like someone who had never seen a pizza heard about pizza and then tried to make one from the description. Seriously guys, it was bad. Oh, we got wings too. Also pretty terrible. The sauce was almost like jelly, so I don't know what they're doing back in that kitchen. I've often wondered how a place like this manages to stay in business. Is it that people in the neighborhood just eventually give up on expecting good food or a semi-decent dining experience? Is it a dwindling of options? The service was poor, not in a rude way but in a completely inattentive way. Like I said before, the food was served on a cafeteria style tray, which was weird and off-putting. There were a lot of people working (it's owned by a family, it seemed) but after bringing the food no one ever came back to the table. I had to ask twice for my ticket before finally just standing by the register until someone came over. It was a weird experience overall. Steer clear. After having a bad experience years last at the falls church Ledos, i wanted to give this place a try because it offered contactless pick up. this location is amazing! I ordered online, parked in my spot, and a nice gentleman put the pizza in my trunk! My favorites are still the meat lovers basically and the supreme. I tried the buffalo chicken and it was okay, but after a little reheat in my oven, it was a little on the dry side. Either way the pizza is delicious and I will be back many many times! read more

Ate lunch here on Sunday. The food and service were excellent. There was only one server and 6 of us and she did a great job. Very enjoyable and relaxing meal. I don't know what any review over 1 star is thinking with this place. The chicken wings were mediocre but priced crazy high. The owner is a bit of a (I won't use a bad word) "blank", so bad service due to that guy. The ambiance is really nothing for a place like Vienna. The pizza is horrific, just awful. I can't believe anyone likes it. I made a mistake going with this place for the first time since moving close in the past 3 years. I tried it once and I'm done. Hummmm so not the best Ledos experience I had had unfortunately........ So decided to drop in in a Friday night to enjoy som yummy ledo's pizza....... not sure if it was a mistake or not. The place is clean and tucked away in a small pocket of businesses in Vienna on a side street near Chipotle and Coldstones creamery, if you didn't make a turn down the side street you wouldn't even know it was there . So came in and place only had maybe 3 tables occupied and come to find out later one table was actually the manager and his staff. So sat down and looked at the menu with one of the wait staff hovering over us expecting us to order as soon as we sat down... was kinda like wtf dude , can we sit down and look over the menu before you come here and take our order ??? Once food and drinks were ordered the place started to get loud and rowdy and it wasn't the customers , it was the stay playing around and the manager just letting it go while he stood there, atmosphere could be a little bit more professional and not filled with the staff horsing around , the place could use some music since it was dead quiet which was awkward. Ok food was ehhhh ok , ordered a pizza with pepperoni and wild boar sausage and an order of old bay wings and Dr Pepper..... the pizza was ehhh ok the old bay wings were overly cooked and dry and Dr Pepper was not mixed well, it tasted more of carbonation than Dr Pepper So overall experience wasn't a good one ..... ;-( read more

I was first introduced to Ledo Pizza by my wife who took me to the original in Adelphi MD many years ago. I was hooked from there. And as the company grew and expanded, I have loved "sampling" their pizza along the way. Now, they finally opened a restaurant near me so I can enjoy it more frequently. And done so I have. Although I have tried other menu items, the pizza is still the best option. I typically go for bacon ... but sometimes mix in pepperoni (and other meats). For those that are Gluten Free, my wife tells me that their GF pizza crust is one of the best! PLEASE give this place a try. I want them to succeed so I can get my Ledo fix when I need it. read more

This particular location is a franchise spot....has to be. Since they've been here it has gone under two management teams (two owners?). The first guy didn't strike me as a guy with any kind of food service experience. I believe he hired his teenage/college age kids and their friends as wait staff.....pretty obvious they didn't have any food service experience either. They seem very nervous and greet you with a scripted welcome, etc.....to the point it seemed very awkward. Often times the pizza is under-cooked. We frequently have to get their attention to get refills, etc. Then in the past 6 months or so (?) they've come under new ownership and/or management. The new wait staff, although not acting like they were reading from their script, did seem more relaxed but the kid waiting on us wasn't even sure of what their menu items were. As an example, I ordered waffle fries as a side to my sub. I saw a plate of them just delivered to another not 3 minutes before placing my order and I know for a fact they are on the menu because I ordered them before. When I asked for them the kid asked with a confused look on his face, "What?" Not because he didn't hear what I said, it was "What" as if what are these "waffle fries" things you are referring to. He soon admitted he didn't even know they were on the menu. When they came they were served on an appetizer plate with about 10 pieces of waffle fries on the plate. As a point of reference we usually go to the Ledo's in Falls Church and an order of waffle fries there are served in a basket with enough for a table of 4 to share. In summary, this place is run by amateurs with seemingly little to no food service experience and no sense of customer service. Pretty disappointed. read more

Well I placed an order online for a bacon and jalapeño pizza to be picked up at 6:10. I arrived 5 min early and my pizza was already ready. I noticed that the bottom of the box was not hot at all. I got home to find out the pizza was not even warm. I believe that when I asked for a latter pickup time for a 6:10 pickup that this restaurant and I assume that they did not realize the pickup was an hour after my initial order I made online. I called to complain about the order and the owner offered to make me a new one after he said that my pizza was fresh (indicating that I was wrong). It's too little too late since I drove back home and was not willing to come back. I keep giving this place second and third chances, will be ordering from the falls church location from now on, it's 5 min further out but I know I am going to get a fresh pizza. read more

It's like a 3.5 but feel like 4 stars would be better here. The pizza was pretty good, and it's cooked in a rectangle shape so I hope you pizza aficionados are cool with that. I thought it was really good, especially if you have the time to dine in. It's really hot, fresh pie. Ledo's is the best pizza I have ever had. Its not pizza most pizza places sell -- but it is just incredible. I don't get addicted to very many foods, but their pizza is really addicting. I ate too many slices when I got one recently, and it gave me a headache from eating so much pizza. Since moving to Fairfax, I've been on the search for some good pizza. My options has either been Costco or Pizza Hut. Costco is always good, especially for the price and Pizza Hut is good every once and a while. But people have always suggested to try Ledo's and so I decided to that for dinner. Ordered one Ledo's Deluxe and a Sweet Baby-Q pizza for my wife. I placed my order online for a set time. Arrived to the location and pick up was very easy. The hype was legit! Ledo's is good. The deluxe was full of flavor and really filling. Bacon was cooked just right and the crust was cooked perfectly. The Sweet Baby-Q was also really good, too. The bbq sauce was just right and didn't overpower the pizza and the cooked backed on top was a nice added flavor to the pizza. This may be my go-to pizza place moving forward. Its a a little drive, but I think it's worth it. Plenty of parking spaces, it's just a little tricky trying to get in and out of the lot due to the stoplight. read more

My baseline for comparison is what I used to get in New York City. Ledo's fails on every point: 1. crust was cooked, but still wet and gooey from everything above, and had hardly any taste; 2. sauce was spicy-hot, but not spicy-Italian -- kind of like tomato paste with Tabasco; 3. cheese was 100% provolone and no mozzarella -- result was an un-pizza taste and none of the stretchy-runny feel; 4. pepperoni was sliced too thick -- chunky and not bacon-crispy. All-in-all, you might as well go to the Big D and take your medicine with an unauthentic pizza rather than have your expectations so thoroughly insulted at Ledo's Too bad there aren't negative stars -- I could have used a few! read more

Tried this location several years ago and was not impressed with the service either dine in or carryout. We recently tried them again because we were close by and in a hurry. We were impressed by the service and the food. We have had the pizza, veggie subs, and garden salads. All have been delicious. The salads are fresh and the pizza comes out hot and delicious. The food comes out looking as good as the picture. The presentation is amazing. The dine in service is friendly and quick. This is a family friendly restaurant. This is now our go to neighborhood spot. The prices are very reasonable and they have something for everyone. If you have not tried them in a while we recommend giving them a try. Ledo Pizza is the best, was first introduced to it 40 years ago at the original Adelphi, Md location. It had not been franchised then. Was delighted to see that one opened in Vienna, not far from my mom's house. We always get the plain, no extra topping pizza. This one was off- crust was not quite that flaky, light pie crust that Ledos usually has. It was more of a typical, chewy crust. If you have never had Ledo pizza, you would be satisfied. Pizza is always great at Ledos. They have some stuff competition in the area. The restaurant is clean and very comfortable. They can easily fit a party of 16 or so in the middle of the dining area. If you like Ledos in Springfield you will be at home here in Vienna. Only thing that is missing is the Brushetta. read more
