I love Vocellis Pizza and I can't get it delivered where I currently live :(. But when I'm at work on the weekends, I can! I think one of my favorite parts about Vocelli's is that they offer the "Lunch" Specials even throughout the weekend! So the website itself needs work. You can't find all the local coupons and you can't even apply the coupons once you have them, on some items. I was unable to place an online order via vocellis.com for a lunch special. But I called the 1-800 number and it was answered by a live, human! She said that she could place my order with the local store and apply the coupon from her end. It took about 28 minutes for me to get the food from a 1 mile to 1.5 miles away. The driver called 3-5 minutes out to ask which entrance to meet him at. I walked outside and the drive called again to tell me he was outside (He wasn't quiet, lol but he was close). Overall, this was a great experience with Vocelli's, I am a Fan! I will be ordering from this location again when I get the craving for nom nom pizza, subs and Stromboli! read more

The Pizza at this Vocelli is really great; we got the thin crust with chicken and mushroom and it was truly crispy thin all the way through and perfectly balanced. The customer service was fantastic and everyone was so friendly! read more

This pizza just wasn't very good. I normally go to Paisano's, but I decided I wanted to try something new for a change. That was a mistake. It was bland, nothing special, not at all worth the price. It's been like a month and I'm still thinking about how disappointed I was. There are SO many good pizza places in the area, including Paisano's like 100 feet away, there is absolutely no reason to go to Vocelli. read more

Great pizza, wonderful service, convenient location. Mr.Granthi, very kind and professional person. Highly recommend this place for an outstanding pizza . read more

Great Service, friendly staffs, the pizza is so good!!!! 100% recommend The stuff crusts pizza is bombbbb

Completely underwhelming in every way. Bland sauce, bland cheese, bland crust. Papa johns is better. Reminded me of school cafeteria pizza. Chicken tenders were bland and had cartilage. Pizza sizes are small. read more

One of the best Pizzas I have eaten in years. I got a chicken cheese and Pasta. They were made Fresh and the portion sizes are more than I expected. I would return here again and would recommend 100%. read more

Do not order off any third party app. I called after two hour of waiting for a 45 min delivery from slice. They said we are not associated with slice we don't even know if we had your order and no delivery driver had a "memory" of brining it to the address. Never got the pizza or a refund and the employees where insanely rude. read more

The food is always great, and I love the richness of the mozzarella cheese. staff are great and treat you even better.

Walking in, I was impressed by the clean, well lit building. I ordered Chicken Alfredo with penne pasta. Original cost was $13 and some change but they gave me a discount because I work in the same shopping area. When my delivery arrived I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo! My first impression looking at it was that there was enough portions for me to eat twice which is awesome considering the the price. The sauce was definitely creamy but I felt that it could've been a bit thicker, it was a little thin. There was plenty of chicken, they did not hold back! The pasta noodles were perfect, not too hard not too soft. I do wonder about the quality of the chicken. Was it cooked that moment, earlier that day or was it frozen/precooked.. The Garlic bread was epic! Two nice toasted buttery sized pieces.. Overall I enjoyed the meal. I suspect there pizza is better so that would be my order next time I stop by. Theyve got great lunch deals soo be sure to stop by and check it out! read more

Great pizza delivered hot and with generous toppings and was fresh. Will order again.

Lunch pizza came one-hour later than the committed time. Food came cold. Vocelli prides themselves on being a step above Dominos, Papa Johns, and Pizza Hut (which is evident by their prices), but their service and quality seem to be worse. read more

Food is good and quick! The staff is friendly and generally have everything ready before the time stated. I couldn't recommend any one particular thing, but I think the subs and calzone are my favorites. Highly recommended for a family dinner. read more

My office caters in Vocelli's for lunch pretty often, and I have to say, out of all the local places, this is THE BEST pizza around! It just tastes so fresh and clean and anything but ordinary. Not too greasy or anything either. We've also had large containers of the pasta brought in, and it's also very, very good. read more

While puffy-crust pizza is not usually my preferred style of pizza, Vocelli certainly made it work the order. They have great priced specials that I took advantage of (a medium 1-topping pizza for $9), and my pizza was ready for pickup very quickly. The tomato sauce was tangy but not overpowering, but I would have liked just a little more cheese on my pizza. Mushrooms topped my pizza and I was pleased to see that these were probably fresh, definitely not canned and placed on top, like many other pizza parlors I've been to. I ordered my pizza for pickup and it was ready within 15 minutes, which I think is a pretty decent turnaround from when I called the order in. Close to home, so I may be visiting here again if I don't find another thin-crust pizza place around! read more

You know those little soaps they give you in hotel rooms? The pepperoni at Vocelli Pizza is made by the same company. Why are the pepperoni slices here so teeny tiny?!? I've never seen such a thing on a pizza! And they are all so spread out! Why in god's name are they so stingy with their toppings? As I was eating, one of the loosely secured sausage pieces went tumbling to the floor, and it was so horrifying to me that it happened in slow motion. There were so few of them on the pizza that it was very emotional for me to part with it. I considered picking it up from the carpet, giving it a good shake, and popping it in my mouth, but cooler heads prevailed. It was so dramatic! Just give me some more sausage next time and this can all be avoided! But seriously, I ordered a large pizza for delivery here, and it was pretty disappointing. It has that familiar cheap mozzarella, wimpy topping portions, and overall it kind of reminded me of Domino's. Which, actually, I wouldn't mind if that was what I was in the mood for, but I was hoping for something a little higher quality, with a wider selection of toppings and sides, to be my go-to in my new neighborhood for when the grazy (greasy + lazy) bug hits. It appears my search will continue. Maybe I'll defy the reviews and order Lost Dog delivery or revert to my old standby, Paisano's... read more

Got the meatball sub. Hardly taste any meatball at all. The pic they have of the meatballs was a whole round meatball. My sub looked nothing like it. They sliced the meatball (less than 2 meat ball) for the whole sub. You can cheaper and tastier meatball sub at subway, which has more than 4 times the meatball in it for less than the price of Vocelli meatball sub. read more

BEST. PIZZA. EVERRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! great great pizza. i dont suggest the pan- rather dry and chalky crust + underbelly of the pizza. you cant go wrong with the regular- all variations are delicious. i suggest you request Extra Sauce however... makes the pizza all that more unbelievable + balanced. best few dollars youll ever spend on pizza. read more

My kids have loved this pizza and other offerings for years. They are now teens and they still love the novel taste and large choices offered. Hawaiian pizza on traditional crust wasn't bad, I would order it again. Also they charge for ranch even though it's just a cheap Ken's sauce. A little slow on the delivery... said 40 minutes took just over 60. Horrible pre-packaged soggy cannoli's (DO NOT BUY). Overall, a little pricy for okay pie's. read more

I love love love love loved my pizza. I ordered online and picked it up. The only issue is that the credit card doesn't take online, so be prepared to pay in store. It's well worth the money. Seriously. I got the BBQ Chicken Pizza with Sicilian crust, no bacon or red onions, and I added tomatoes. Love. Too bad I need to start on the diet. So once this pizza is done it will be a while before I come back. But I will be back. read more

If I could could write a comment without rating them I would. My friend lives within 5 miles of 3 different Vocelli's all of which who directed us to the Vienna location we called and ordered a pizza with no problem. They then called back 30 minutes later to confirm the address, which we did. We the waited and waited AND WAITED for an hour and half. Still nothing. I then proceeded to call them back and they told me that we have them the wrong address and that we were out of range. Basically it's been over 2 hours and still nothing has arrived. We will NOT be ordering from them any time soon. This is completely unacceptable. read more

First off, the pizza looks and tastes like they bought it from Papa Johns. The wife ordered a salad. Found a hair in it. She called to have them take it off her charge. They refused, they wanted to send another salad. You got to be kidding me. If someone from NY/NJ started a real pizza place down here, they'd make a mint. This place was disgusting. read more

We had ordered a few of their artisan pizzas over the years (by delivery) and they were decent. So, tonight we decided to order carryout with their Monday/Tuesday night coupon. The toppings were sparse and the pizza itself was so incredibly overcooked that our dog wouldn't even touch it! The crust was brown and had absolutely no flexibility/texture remaining. It was not ready when we arrived so perhaps they left it in the oven too long(?). Under different circumstances I would have tried to resolve the issue with them although it was so difficult to communicate with them at pick up that it seemed unlikely any resolution could be reached. Therefore, it was just trashed. Such a waste and overall disappointment! We will definitely not be back after this experience. read more

Awful. Took over an hour and 15 minutes to deliver. Came cold and hard as a rock. If you want hot, chewy or crunchy, and greasy consider another establishment. read more

Let me put it this way. I'd give it more stars if the website didn't try to sell this pizza as having "italian quality" and having been "crafted from a family recipe." If they'd been honest and called it "Food. When you're starving, you probably won't notice the terrible texture and rubbery cheese," I probably would have doled out another star. But I also probably would have realized I shouldn't order from them in the first place. Alternatively, I'd give less stars if the pizza was made incorrectly or had been late. But, technically, they did everything to qualify as having done the minimum to technically call it "delivery pizza." There was cheese. There was sauce. There was crust. It came on time. The basics were pretty much covered. However, it was really poor quality. And somehow we have made the mistake of getting pizza from this restaurant twice now. I'm not sure how. We're pretty sure at least the second time we got their pizza, the crust had been pre-made. It, at least, had that sort of texture - it reminded me very closely of Trader Joe's frozen pizza. I wish I could get back the minutes I spent chewing on it. I'm really sorry to bash a business started by someone who immigrated here from Turkey and started as a dishwasher in a restaurant, but HONESTLY. It's so sad when it could be so much better! This place is nothing compared to Flippin' Pizza or Pazzo Pomodoro (although PP doesn't deliver). Overall, needs improvement: Better crust, more toppings, more integrity between website description and customer experience. read more

I hadn't had vocellis in a while and really liked the Burke location. I thought maybe the standards would be the same in Tyson's but was disappointed. I've ordered twice in the last two weeks. Both times well over an hour delivery. The second time the pizza was cold and the driver expected a significant tip. read more

The pizza was cold, and the toppings fell off it because the delivery guy stored The pizza sideways in his lunchbox. Also, the chicken tenders were pretty underwhelming. read more

I highly recommend the Vienna Vocelli's. We've gotten pizza here for years--over a decade. We always try different pizza places but of all the places that deliver in the area Vocelli's wins for its quality and consistency. The food is always good, either for one person, a family, or catering a work lunch (which was how I first discovered the place and recommended to my family we try it ourselves all those years ago). Great prices for guaranteed quality. read more

As you know there are many choices to make with Pizza in Vienna VA. Vocelli really looks just like a Papa Johns or Dominoes. The menu is small and the decor in the restaurant pedestrian. It is hard to imagine this is possible but the pizza is worse than Dominoes and Papa Johns and actually more expensive. read more

The pizza was warm and it tasted well. I enjoyed it however the delivery took much longer then when it was supposed to arrive.

I really like Vocellis pizza, however, their delivery service is just terrible. I placed an order @. 11:02am and still have not recorded my order over 1 hr and 40 mins later even though my delivery estimate time was 30-45 minutes. Seriously? This was the last chance I was willing to give delivery. I will not order again. read more

Traveling through and staying at a local hotel I ordered in. Did not order pizza. Rather had the Chicken tenders which were over sauced with the requested BBQ sauce. And the main reason for a 2 star rating was the $7.00 antipasta. Advertised as fresh mixed greens, artichokes, red onions, roasted red peppers, black olives, ripe tomatoes, capicola, genoa salami, banana peppers, mozzarella and imported Pecorino romano cheese. What you get....... Fresh mixed greens..........maybe 1/2 head of iceberg lettuce. artichokes.......probably 1/2 of one jarred artichoke heart separated into individual leaves. Unbelievable. red onions.....one slice separated into rings. roasted red peppers........picture a 1 and 1/2 inch square sliced into 8-10 pieces. Duh? black olives.......perhaps 4 0r 5 sliced into rings. ripe tomatoes.....hard orange tomato capicola.....may have been. Looked more like domestic ham genoa salami (and I kid you not)......two thin slices cut into quarters banana peppers.................too minimal to comment mozzarella.......3 or 4 tablespoon fulls shredded Inported Pecorino romano cheese....Again, soft pliable shreds and imported from where? read more

The owners of Vocellis should be ashamed of themselves. One star is to many for Vocellis. This is an insult to call this Italian food, never mind food. I took a chance and ordered a meatball sub and a pizza. I recieved soggy mushy bread, one meatball sliced into 4 pieces and sauce splashed on it. The pizza was similar to a frozen store bought one. Elementary school lunch has more quality, flavor and quantity than this did. I was so aggravated I threw it all in the garbage. Its a sad day when Subway has a better meatball sub then this poor excuse for a "pizzeria". Never again Vocelli boy. read more
