I have been wanting to try the pizza for over a year and finally I did. I walked in and the owner Will was super friendly and asked me my name. He asked me what I liked and I said cheese. I do like pepperoni and sausage but sometimes they are salty for me. Will suggested I get two slices of cheese and a drink and I said that sounds good. He also let me try the gelato and the caramel gelato was really good. I didn't get gelato this time but I will in my next visit. The pizza was crispy and thin and not salty. How I like my NY style pizza. I will definitely be back cause I found the best pizza in Maryland and its been a long time since I have had a great pizza.

I ordered a pepperoni and sausage personal pizza and a pepperoni and cheese personal pizza. The toppings were plentiful. The pepperoni got a little greasy (little grease cups as I call them) but that's what makes it taste better, in my humble opinion. The amount of sauce was just right. I'm not a huge fan of red sauce (the horror, I know) but the sauce was very good. The crust was great. It was crispy on the edges, but soft and fluffy on the inside. Their pizzas range from $10 - $15 depending on what you want on them and what they're offering. Overall, the pizzas were delicious. I would certainly order from them again.

The good berry salad was so incredible. The goat cheese, cranberries, and corn were so perfect, I added grilled chicken- and it was so flavorful- not dry and not chewy. I can tell it's high quality. And I'm so beyond full and happy. My son crushed the cheese pizza. My husband (who said he didn't want anything) happily ate the chicken sandwich. I love how easy it was to remove or add anything online. My husband doesn't love mushrooms or mayo- and it was so easy to remove them. And the kitchen got the order perfect. The restaurant itself was so clean and well run. I honestly wish this place was closer to our house because I would order from here more often .... And I might if I can get it delivered somehow. Eek.

I decided to try something new to me and ordered the Chicken Marsala, which was chicken and mushrooms in marsala sauce over linguine. Also ordered a Caesar salad which unfortunately did not come (again, the delivery had other issues so I don't think it was the fault of the restaurant). My bf loved the cheese ravioli. He thought the filling was tasty and enjoyed the sauce. Their red sauce is a more chunky sauce with onions which I did not taste because I'm not a fan, but he would get it again. I'm still looking for a smooth sauce for some chicken parm, but no worries since the menu here has plenty of different sauce options! I enjoyed the chicken francese. The chicken was very tender and it was a generous portion. I felt it could have used a bit more flavor, but the sauce was a nice consistency and the linguine was cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed the complimentary rolls that came with the meal. Overall, I enjoyed this spot and will try more items in the future!

Driving down York Road one day I decided let me finally make a pit stop into Baltoz. An open space counter to see some of the magic in the kitchen, no frills to the restaurant, but a warm and inviting atmosphere for hanging out and enjoying a delicious pizza for dinner. All of the baked goods displayed on the counter entice you to indulge in a sweet treat before ordering a pizza. My first visit I just settled on some cookies and a jalapeno cheddar bagel, since I was on my way elsewhere for dinner. But let me tell you how the chocolate chip cookie instantly became one of my favorite bakery cookies. And the bagel was decadent for my morning breakfast, covered in cheddar cheese with those crispy edges that bake at the base of the bagel. On my second visit I settled on their corn pizza since it was a different flavor combination, and it tasted like a slice of summer. Corn, basil, and ricotta, and you can't go wrong. And the staff has always been really pleasant with each visit. I'm a sucker for baked goods and a wood-fire pizza and I can say Baltoz has stolen my heart. I'm looking forward to trying more of their rotational baked items. And I know for certain their pepperoni pizza has to be a showstopper.

Forno is officially one of those spots I will make the drive for. This was my second visit, and yes, I came all the way from Gaithersburg because the food is THAT good. It's a super cozy, family-owned, hole-in-the-wall Italian spot with such a warm, homey vibe. Nothing overly fancy or pretentious, just really good food, good wine, and the kind of atmosphere where you can settle in and stay awhile. The MUST order for me is the Arrosticini -- marinated lamb skewers grilled with lemon and EVOO and served with arugula. These are authentic Italian-style lamb skewers, and I'm telling you, you do not find these everywhere. They were so good we ordered TWO rounds. I almost went for a Third but they were sold out...no shame in my game. The fried artichokes were another standout, especially with the creamy cacio e pepe sauce. That sauce was so good I was dipping everything in it by the end of the meal. We also shared the meatballs, prosciutto burrata salad, and the Calabrian Sweet & Spicy pizza which is has fig jam, Calabrian chili, mozzarella, brie, and balsamic glaze. That sweet, spicy, creamy combo on the pizza was so good. We split a bottle of wine too, and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable some of the bottle prices were. Sam took care of us and was incredibly personable and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We ended up lounging on the couch, sipping wine, eating amazing Italian food, and just vibing. Honestly, such a good date-night or catch-up-with-friends kind of spot. Everything I've had at Forno has been delicious so far. Can't wait to be back! 100/10 recommend. Worth the drive. Come hungry, order the lamb skewers, and thank me later.
