There were some items that we really enjoyed, like the Mac and cheese, three blind mice sandwich, and the Alabama white sauce!! Other items like the green beans or pulled brisket left us wanting more. The green beans did not taste fresh, and the brisket lacked seasoning/flavor. There were also a lot of fried elements like the tater tots, onion rings or even the mozzarella sticks on the three blind mice sandwich, which we feel like were all decent and not too greasy, but also know those are easy things to make regardless of where you're at! The staff was very friendly at the restaurant! They were available if we had questions, and got our food out quickly to us. The ambiance of the restaurant was a little out of date and worn. You could definitely tell this establishment/building has been here for awhile with little to no updates over the years. A few updates to the space I think would really transform it and make it look like it belongs in 2023 not 1993.
