Chicken sandwich with the shrimp tempura
    Jazzy T.

Lunch was good and satisfying. We had the chicken sandwich. Normally, I don't eat foods with a hint of sweetness to it. This sandwich surprised my palate. Lightly sweet sauce with a little zing to it. Their appetizer, Tempura was nice and crispy. You can eat tail and all. The only thing I'm not crazy about was the soup. That one was sweet and not my idea of a good soup. Even hubby didn't like it. And, hubby eats anything. He said, not too satisfactory to his taste. The place is clean. Not too crowded at that time (lunch). The server was very polite. Definitely recommend this place.

THIS IS HOW PAPASAN SERVE THEIRS. Few meat. Mostly fat and bones
    D D.

Price gets higher and higher for their food but quality of food gets cheaper and cheaper. Their short ribs is a joke. Where's the meat??? It's all FAT AND BONE. Cook must eat the meat. HaHa. Ridiculous price for fat and bones. I've inserted photos of their ribs versus how other restaurants serve. They need to serve meat!!

My family and I finally stopped at a Vietnamese restaurant we pass by almost every day, and wow, we've been missing out. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was stunning and welcoming. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were blown away by how flavorful everything was. I ordered the barbecue and it was packed with rich, smoky flavor. My sister tried the curry and couldn't stop raving about how creamy and well-seasoned it was. My son went for the shrimp fried rice and devoured every bite. My daughter ordered the steak pho but didn't enjoy the sweetness in the broth, so they happily swapped it out for the barbecue I had... amazing service. The food came out quickly and every bite was full of bold, fresh flavor. This spot is officially on our favorites list. I'll definitely be going back soon or ordering it straight to my door.

    Gà nướng lu

I ordered gà nướng lu, comes with gỏi, and xôi. I have to order 1 day in advance for that.

    Beef Pho

One of, if not, THEE best Pho places in Kissimmee. Quaint and very clean. Margie and Luis were awesome. Very attentive and knowledgeable, they provided quality service with a smile. (as we all should!) My beef pho was amazing (Shoutout Luis for the suggestion ) I will definitely be back in the near future.

First Egg Roll -- looks like it was refried

This was our second time coming to this place. It's a 40 minute drive for us. I could not stop thinking about the sandwich after our first visit. It was just that good.... I even tried the Banh Mi sandwich from two other places, not good! Service was great, the waitress was attentive, friendly & welcoming On to the food: The egg rolls looked horrible, I believe the cook refried them! See pic , we sent them bank because the egg roll was extremely cold in the inside. If I recall correctly the egg rolls were cold inside during our first visit. The chicken sandwich was delicious, however the pork definitely tasted different. I was very disappointed. Between the short cuts & pork -- we will not make the hike to this place again.

    Tarp Milk Tea
    Chris K.

Once again it was amazing. Great service and food was very tasty and a great lunch stop. I ordered the Traditional Banh Mi which consisted of the pork and Veggies. Paired that with my Taro Milk Tea which is always a must. Environment is always so relaxing and it's usually not as crowded , but I know they have a lot of online orders so that already speaks for itself. Look forward to coming back soon!

Surprisingly very authentic tasting pho!!! I yelped this place as I'm not from the area. Service was friendly and plenty of parking. Prices were a bit steep I thought for the area that it was in.

Mango green tea with boba ($6.5) and vegan pho ($16)
    Rachel S.

It seems like the quality of this place has gone down since the last time I visited. I ordered some fried rice ($15) and a milk tea ($9) to-go, and although the order was ready on time, they messed it up by failing to leave out certain allergens and had to re-make it. They apologized for the error and had the order out again in less than 5 minutes. The rice was basically pure salt and oil with limited flavor. The drink tasted nice and refreshing at least, but unfortunately the straw provided with the drink was too short, so I had a lot of difficulty drinking it. With all the trouble in this rather highly priced $25 lunch, I'd be hard pressed to recommend this place.

    Apparently these are wontons
    Emily B.

I've never seen wontons look like this - soggy and dripping with oil. We ordered via DoorDash . The meals we ordered were pretty good - curry chicken and chicken egg noodle strirfry - but extremely stumped with those wontons for $7.95 that taste like a mushy pile of grease.

Do they sell beer and wine?

Not according to the menu. They do have a variety of beverages.

Do any of the vegetarian dishes contain eggplant? I'm yearning for that! Your veg dishes look incredible!

I do not recall any dishes that contain eggplant.

My favorite part is you can do flights. I ordered three soup and two slider flight. Soups: tomato basil and lobster bisque. Both were good alone but they mixed well too. The bisque was one of the better ones I've had. I could actually taste the basil in the tomato basil. Sliders: chicken salad and pimento cheese. Both were good, but alone without soup they're just ok. The best part of the sliders is they come on Hawaiian rolls. I would definitely go again since I love soup.

**INITIAL REVIEW** I…read morelike to consider myself, at times, a connoisieur of soups. I love them all, and I don't even mean just the ones most people know of, but ones that are often passed over simply because they are not known. Good example: the savory cold soups that are meant to be cold, not just a hot soup you serve cold because you're lazy to wait a minute for it to warm up in a microwave. I will even go as far as to say that I love chili with beans... and without. Doesn't matter. It is a chucky soup. I like creamy soup. I like chunky soup. I like chunky and creamy soup. I like soup... and kudos to anyone who got the classic Eddie Murphy stand-up comedy joke right there. Anyways, The Soup Shop in, what I will call the part of Melbourne between Suntree and Melbourne Major (where Historic Downtown Melbourne) is located, right near the Eastern Florida State College Melbourne campus, is the original location (that I know of). I have been a couple of times, and every single time, it has been great. As a matter of fact, the Soup Shop answers that question I've asked which is, "What if there was a restauant that served an array of soups I can choose from?" Questioned answered and with flying colors, too. Pertaining to its ambiance, the Soup Shop doesn't exactly stand out compared to some of the decor these new restaurants seem to push as part of their experience. Instead, their decor is simplistic, but they so happen to really promote and push one particular artist as her paintings are all over the walls of the restaurant. As for the soup, I decided to get the flight, which is a sample (flight) size of three soups of your choice. Certain soups do have a specialty upcharge, specifically the bisques, and some can't be made in such because of how they are prepared, specifically the ramen. Despite that, there are a wide array of soup choices to choose from. You now, chunky soup, creamy soup, chunky and creamy soup. And to be serious for a moment, they also have soups that cater to special dietary needs. I saw a whole cooler full of ready-to-warm-up soups for bariatrics. As for the prices, they are not bad all. I think the soup flight was about $12, which is not bad at all for three soups a little bigger than a cup but smaller than a bowl. They also serve other food items such as sandwiches and desserts. My suggestion: the grilled cheese. Definitely pair it with the tomato soup. Ultimately, I am going to give the OG Soup Shop four out of five stars. They were outstanding the two times I went, but I need to try more of their food to see if they are consistent... because most people know that my fifth star is awarded after reviews (unless I've been to a business more than let's say five times) and they are consistent. I truly think The OG Soup Shop will be consistent, but you never know.

**INITIAL REVIEW **…read more The Soup Shop located in central Melbourne, which I will say is the area between Eau Gallie and Suntree, is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in the mid-Melbourne area, the area between Eau Gallie and Suntree. I mean, it is a restaurant that sells soup, and I mean more than one soup or even more than the common numbers of two to five soups. Think twenty soups or more. Ergo, when I found out that another Soup Shop location would open in West Melbourne, FL, I was excited. Not only would one of my favorite restaurants have another location available, but this one so happens to be closer to me. The question is if this new location would be as good as the OG. Despite not being a 1-to-1 of excellence to the OG, this new location is still excellent. Though an address is provided, the new Soup Shop location is located in the Palm Crossing Shopping Center a.k.a. Publix Shopping Plaza West Melbourne on Palm Bay Rd. (because to be fair, all the best shopping plazas in Florida happen to be Publix shopping plazas). If it helps, the new Apocalypse Coffee Roasters location is also in the same plaza. Upon entering the locale, it is like walking into a cozy nook you'd like to sit in and enjoy a book. Multiple two-person seating is available up front with one on the eastside. I usually sit on the eastside table as it is closest to the fountain dispenser, as all fountan drinks have free refills. As for service, the ladies working there are great, especially the team lead/manager who works on weekdays. I definitely like how she initiates conversation by asking about the t-shirt you are wearing. I was wearing my "EXPLORE" shirt and she asked me what it is I am exploring. Usually, it would be geocaches and/or letterboxes, but at the time, soup flavors! Which brings me to the six flavors of soup I had via the flight. Yes. The Soup Shop serves flights (and that is all the locations from what I know, too). I had the Dragon Stew, chili, chicken gumbo, tomato soup, creamy garlic tomato soup, and she crab bisque. Details of the soups are in the pics, but definitely loved the tomato soups especially with their fantastic grilled cheese sandwich they have on their menu. And on a sidenote: the restroom was unisex and clean. Definitely no drips on the floor or anything like that. Ultimately, I am going to give this Soup Shop - West Melbourne, four out of five stars. All and all, they are excellent, but we'll have to see if they are consistent. If they are consistently excellent, not perfect, just excellent, they'll get their fifth star for consistency.

First, the staff deserves credit--their energy and kindness were 10/10. The person I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The food itself was good, but I was disappointed that my order was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for only tomatoes and pickles on my burger, but it came with cheese and a sauce. Luckily, I was planning to eat just the patty, so I was able to rinse it off, but if I had intended to eat it as a regular burger, it would have completely ruined the meal as the bun was covered in the sauce. My sub was excellent, and I appreciated the staff's sauce recommendations. However, I was surprised that the homemade sauce came with a $1.10 charge for each side of sauce--that feels pretty excessive. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive one of the sauces I paid for. I understand they are homemade but it is a 1.5 oz container... My biggest disappointment, though, was the chips. It may sound minor, but when a meal is priced and advertised as a complete meal, you'd expect a reasonable portion. The "side" of chips was literally about seven whole chips' worth, mostly crushed into pieces. It was especially disappointing when compared to the portion of fries. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.
