Coco's House Special Fried Rice with Shrimp, Beef and Chicken.
Brett L.

I vassilated between 3 or 4 stars. I think 5 stars are reserved for over-exceeding expectations. This selection was good. I called in my order and was assisted by a cheerful and friendly lady. I arrived 15 minutes later and my order was packed and ready to go. I ordered the Coco's Special House fried rice with shrimp, beef, and chicken. My wife was not feeling well and wanted the warmth and comfort of the wonton soup. The fried rice was a Huge portion. I had two servings and had only eaten half of the order. The shrimp were very large and I counted six in the order. Cutting the large shrimp into 3rds allowed better distribution in the meal. The amount of beef and chicken was good as well. There wa a slight overabundance of rice, and it was flavored well. There is a slight saltiness expected with Asian food that was well-balanced. I didn't have the soup, but my wife said that it was very good. Coco's House will be in my rotation when I choose Asian carry-out. The service is very fast & friendly. The price is competitive to other similar restaurants in this area. The portions are large, and the food is good.

Wifes Seafood Combo #1. Good portion

Overall friendly service, good food and a nice replacement to Chopsticks. The only reason its a 4, priced a bit high for the area I think but quality is good. Chicken Hibachi - double veggies. Chicken is cooked well which is a miracle in this town. Good sauce and nice portion. Chose soda over egg roll. See menu for exact offerings Wife had Combo #1. We didn't realize they changed the menu so instead of getting a lobster shell, she got crawfish. $33 but a nice portion. Smelled fresh. Shrimp was goooood. Hot n sour soup - very good take on it. Spicy but not over powering. Honestly, enjoyed it a ton. So while priced a bit high, I do like the quality and friendliness. They threw in a free steamed dumplings due to our $58 order so that tells me they want repeat customers and appreciate the business. Will be back.

Went here last night on my break from work and there was a maggot in my edamame. They were kind about it, and asked if I wanted them to remake my food but after finding a maggot in my food, I don't think I'll be able to eat there ever again. Just thought people should be aware.

The rice in the Buri-Bop, the dish that made Morimoto an Iron Chef, is one of the best things I've eaten this month, the yellowtail was lost in the strong flavors of the rice. The orange chicken is a safe option, as it "tastes like chicken". However the sauce is not the sickly sweet American sauce, it is more citrus like. The decor is beautiful and the prices aren't as outrageous as you might think.

During a business conference in Orlando the company made reservations at Morimoto Asia for dinner…read morefor 12 of us. The table was nicely prepared with a direct view of the kitchen and slightly separated from the rest of the dining room which was appreciated. We ordered sushi seafood towers, sushi platters and chicken and pork dumplings to start. All of which was very tasty and the fish was very fresh albeit the oysters were a little small. For mains I shared the Peking duck which was very flavorful and well prepared. However I was a little taken back by the flour tortillas?? Really? It should be served with pancakes that don't make your bite like an American Peking Duck Taco. The Bảo buns or lettuce wraps were a nice alternative. To make it even weirder it was served with noodles or rice as well. Those you can leave behind next time. Other dishes that looked amazing were the sea bass and fried rice dishes. What was very impressive was how attentive the staff was and that the drinks and food came out in a timely fashion even though the place was packed. Definitely worth a visit even for the duck dish but remember to pass on the tortillas and noodles as they are not needed.
