Lebon Sweets doesn't play fair. You walk in, get smacked in the face by the smell of sugar and butter, and next thing you know you're questioning every other dessert you've ever loved. The place is so clean I'd eat knafeh off the floor (don't worry, I didn't... yet). The staff are dangerously nice, like "make you forget your diet, your bills, and your therapist" nice. And the frozen knafeh? Bro, it's not just dessert, it's a weapon of mass deliciousness. You could serve it at the United Nations and suddenly everyone's shaking hands and singing Bab al Hara or Fadel Shaker newest hit (shit slaps, look it up). Lebon Sweets isn't just a bakery, it's therapy with sugar. الله يرزقكن اكتر و اكتر Special shout out to Fatima, and the other sweet girl with cedar tree necklace read more

What a total scam and a complete waste of time. Called a week ahead and got a quote for an item. Go to pick it up and all of the sudden, the price just doubled. They started blaming us and saying that we misunderstood but when we got the manager on the phone, she took full responsibility and said that it was their mistake but what did she do about it. ABSOLUTLEY nothing. they would not honor the price given. We drive 3+ hours just to come get sweets from them but this would be the FINAL TIME read more

Kunafa was absolutely amazing. As good if not better than in Lebanon. They ship frozen to you too

I'm visiting from Maryland and I was looking for Middle Eastern sweers like pastries to celebrate EID. My niece recommended this place. I saw this place was packed with locals. I knew then, I be in good hands. I ordered a Kanafe sandwich. It's hard to describe, sweet cheese type dessert. Baklava, which is one of the best I had ever had. They have a delicious tiramisu, and tons and tons other delicious sweets. Very friendly staff!! I'll definitely be back! read more

If you're looking for Middle Eastern desserts, this is the place for you. They don't have your usual baklava, they've bumped it up a notch! They carry Katayef, knafeh, nabulsia, nammoura and lebon cheese (my favorite)! It comes with rose water syrup and it's the best by far. You can dine in or take out, buy one or take a tray with you. Either way, you won't walk away disappointed. They also have a location in East Dearborn. read more

As soon as you walk in, there's a whole selection of desserts to choose from. The staff are extremely friendly and you're typically served very quickly. The energy inside is always positive and uplifting. Their sweets will forever be my favorite and be the perfect beginning or ending to a long day. The interior is always very clean and organized as well. The location is on a busy intersection, but there's typically some place to park. Highly recommend trying it out! read more

Decent product. Way overpriced! 6 dollars for one kanafe sandwich. 30 dollars for a tray of 6. Wow it was 20 not long ago.

This place has the best kunafa in the USA and easily top 10 in the world. Yes, you read right, I ate it at many place in Lebanon, not as good. The cheese blend is soft and not too greasy, the crust is heavenly, but what really sets it apart is the sesame dome bread it's stuffed into. It doesn't get soggy and there are sesame seeds on every little surface of that bread. Go there, eat the kunafa, forget the other distractions, the baklava is ok, the sfouf is my favorite in town, reminds me a little of baba sweets Lebanon but not quite there. Love this place , I get the craves here. Needs a good expresso machine though. read more

Hi I just want to say something to whom it may concern to the manager or anyone at Lebon sweet first of all your knafe is not the same as usual you guys using mozzarella instead of real cheese for knafe and maamoul pistachios and a fake too you guys mixing the pistachio with some other stuff and adding green coloring to it also the dough for maamoul not good anymore. I use to recommend you guys to all my family and friends but now not anymore read more

Truly the best Kunafa around. They definitely know what they are doing. They also have lots of Arabic deserts. They don't make it too sweet or too bitter. Perfect balance. You can always ask for a sweetener on the side. I won't go anywhere else for Kunafa!!! read more

Hmmmmmm I'm sure I won't be back, regardless how the food tastes. Why? Cuz complete disregard isn't how I like to be treated. But if you're fine with the muhajaba (scarved) counter help making eyes at your husband and ignoring you, then this is the place for you. Honestly it's got nothing to do with her being Muslim, but rather that she's Lebanese cuz of course me being a non-Arab, I don't deserve acknowledgement. This isn't going to be unique to this bakery, but most Lebanese bakeries. Too bad. read more

This place is great they offer this cheese kanafah sandwiches in between a sesame seed roll, try it sweet. It's super delicious. I've had cheese kanafeh another place in dearborne but the seasame roll they offer here at Lebanon sweet makes the kanafeh thst much better! Also had some great cashew baklava, which was really good as well. My new go to bakery for some yummy sweets. You will not be disappointed. read more

I visited for the first time the other day... I wanted to see what this "cheese dome" business was all about. Being a huge fan of knafa (kanefa?), I wanted to try the dessert in bun form and I was NOT disappointed. How they manage to cram 8 metric tons of sweet, buttery cheese inside a 2oz sesame pita is a miraculous feat of physics. I ate the pleasure dome on my commute to work and was still full of cheese come 1pm. I take away two stars because the two ladies at the counter couldn't look less enthused at my presence. I didn't get a "hello! How are you! Choose a damn dessert and leave!" ... nothing. No smile... even a rolling of the eyes would have at least acknowledged my presence in the store. It was awkward. Me: "HELLO! So I heard you have something called a cheesedome!" Them: /crickets Me: "Um... I guess I'll try one." Them: /still crickets with the subtle tone of dome preparation. Me: /Pays. "Thanks BYE!" Them: /even louder crickets WHY Two stars off for an awkward encounter. read more

The knafeh is awesome! The syrup tastes great as well, it can ruin a good dessert if it is overpowering or tastes like perfume, they make it perfectly! read more

The ladies that work here are so rude. I was trying to ask questions about the sweets and they would mumble under their breath and snicker at me. I am new to the area and figured to try something knew. Had their helawit Jibn and it was horrible. The place next door "Saj" has amazing helawit jibn. I would avoid coming here unless you want to interact with unprofessional woman. read more

Most of the staff are untrained and the kanafa is soaked with syrup. It was the best knefa in town and maybe in the USA . Owners or managers never there , they put green coloring to fake for pistachio in some of their sweets . Greedy for money and quality is fading away !!! Wake up before it is too late !! read more

The place doesn't look much from outside, well, it doesn't look much inside either, other than an oversize picture of a Lebanese kunafeh sandwich on the wall that assuredly tells you that you've come to the right place! On the counter, there are two kunafeh trays and a pile of puffed up sesame sprinkled kaak, the Lebanese street bread. The kunafeh is warm, you can see the cheese layer oozing and spreading out under golden brown crusty semolina topping. Kaak is still slightly warm, almost completely hollow but a thin chewy layer adorned with toasted sesame seeds. When you stuff that warm gooey and crusty kunafeh inside, drizzle in a few drops of rose water syrup and then take a bite, it's one amazing sandwich. Of course you can eat the kunafeh alone as dessert, but the sandwich experience adds more fun and is quite uniquely Lebanese. The menu is short, it's mainly a kunafeh place. Enjoy! read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. the friend that recommended it to us described it as a dessert cheeseburger. we had a difficult time choosing so we had pretty much some of everything. I am glad this place isn't closer because I would want to get a treat in a weekly basis. can't wait for my next opportunity to be near it so I can stop in for a treat. read more

This is my to go shop for Kanafeh! This place offers baklava, croissants (many flavors), and variety of kanefh. I find there kanaefh to be really good especially the all white one with cheese inside. Also, if you purchase more than 6 pieces you get the sesames seed bread to put the kanafh inside. It's a sit in bakery that is at reasonable price read more

They have two locations and the Cheese Dome is to die for. We drove all the the way there for this place, amazing

My favorite Lebanese sweets place in the area. The knafa is so amazing! It tastes better than the knafa in Lebanon lol. I also love during Ramadan the sweet called Kalijj. The place is so clean and smells so amazing. The workers are super friendly as well. I've been coming to Lebon sweets since I was a little kid and I don't think I'll ever stop. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I highly recommend it. read more

The worst customer service you can think of . I was visiting Michigan from out of town and I was looking for good knafeh . The staff wasn't friendly . I asked if they can warm up the sweet for us ( knafeh) they didn't reply at all . Then went inside with the dish and came out . Without saying a word they ask if I am ready to pay . End of the story . Not one employee there were able to communicate or give a decent customer replies . The knafeh that we ate right after we picked it up was cold and dry read more

Im giving a 2 due the employees, but for the sweets i would give it a 5. I walked in there today and there was an old lady infront of us that was so sweet to the girl, but she was give her the biggest attitude ( my heart shattered for that lady she was so sweet and nice) when i came up, the other another girl comes and gives me and the customers the biggest attitude. Its the holy month of ramadan and we understand workers go through a lot but its not the people's fault to take it out on. read more

Definitely the best Kunafa in Michigan , and you know what i am even going as far as to say that the Kunafa there to me, is better than the Kunafa i had in Lebanon. Who needs Masri Kunafa when we got Lebon Sweet here in Dearborn Heights . The staff that works there is simply amazing and fun . I will miss this place when i move but they seem to have online service so i may be ordering some Knefeh :) read more

This place has excellent Kunafa! I say it is a tie between here and Shatila. It is different though in the sense you can eat the cheese kunafa sandwiched between a sesame bun that is glazed with jasmine syrup. Preeeetttty darn incredible tasting if you ask me. Tiny place from outside, but heaven in the inside. read more

Was looking for a new kanafeh place and was glad I was near the area. Didn't know they had the 'cheesedome' and was super psyched that they did. Very disappointing their sweets getting worse and worse they sold me some old kanafa that was all burnt up and cracking on top

Sweets are good but service is HORRIBLE! No such mentality of treating customers with respect. The young girls working there are rude and won't answer questions. Not only that, they force u to buy in bulk and won't give the option of selling individually. Basic business is u can charge a little extra for individual pieces verses in bulk, let the customer decide which unit price to pay. I asked them to put kunafa and baklava in one box and was told I can't. I asked why and response was I can't. I asked if it was a health code violation and again the dummy says I can't! Then she calls her sidekick to clarify and answer was we can't! Then after I basically interrogated and asked WHAT IS THE REASON, I can't is an action, THEN I got a response of "it might leak"... I said I'll take the chance as I wanted one box to carry for easy transport and response was "I can't"..., needless to say I left outta there empty handed n took my business straight to Masri.... the OG of kunafa, not these dumb copycat places. read more
