Pistachio Cake Delicious, soft, and not so sweet
    Tasha S.

Came here in a whim to try their pistachio latte and their pastries. Pistachio latte 12oz, 3/5 Pistachio cake slice, 4/5 mini bites, 4/5 Service 5/5, was very welcoming and helpful Lots of seating to hang out or to pop-up your laptop. but I didn't stay long enough to just chill.

Something about finjan coffee is just so much better than most other coffees. This cafe did not disappoint. I had ordered the finjan latte and Nutella croissant. The croissant was rather large and was not overfilled with Nutella like other places. Nice balance of bread to hazelnut spread. The finjan latte was what truly made my time there worthwhile. It was prepared perfectly (and this is coming from a non coffee person). Inside of the cafe was adorable as well with nice seating, WiFi, and available outlets. Table service was speedy. Parking was easy right outside the cafe. I will definitely come back here when I'm in the area again.

Very cute little cafe. They have a nice menu of Yemeni coffee and chai as well as a few dessert items. I had the adeni chai and it was pretty good. Does have seating but might be harder for groups of more than 4 to get together as the space is a bit small. Still a great place to meet with friends and catch up.

Finjan is one of my favorite coffee/tea shops in the area. I have been here over 10 times and the coffee and tea is always consistent and delish. Although there are coffee shops that are closer to where I live, I always opt into driving a bit farther because I feel like Finjan puts more spice into their coffee and tea and I love the unique and delicious flavors you get! You can't go wrong with ordering an Adeni Tea, Finjan Latte, Pistachio Latte, or the homemade Turkish Milk Cake. Check out my Instagram for more @hangry_detroiter

Had some time to kill between airport drop offs. We stopped in after our daughter did a quick internet search. Glad we did. Had a chai latte and it tasted wonderful.

First time meeting up a friend here and the place was amazing! It is a versatile establishment. You can bring your kiddos and chill or you can do homework or better yet, this is your work station. Pistachio Rose cake caught my attention on the aesthetics and the flavor was marvelous as well. I enjoyed every bite of it. I love their service too. It's friendly and makes me feel like I belong there. Thank you, Finjan ! Pls keep up the great service and food :)

If you love Yemeni tea (especially Adeni tea) and coffee, this was such a great find! My friends and I always go to Qawah House in Dearborn, but it is always busy and we have to fight to find seats. So our first time in Qamaria we were so happy to find multiple cozy tables and comfy chairs. It was not loud so we could enjoy each other's company. They have the honeycomb pastry but even more than that! Since we always order honeycomb pastry from Qawah we wanted to try the pistachio cake and knafeh cheesecake here which are sooo good!

I like this place, the ambience cozy the dessert and coffee excellent! The service was friendly. There is a negative tho, it'sa bit pricey.

Finjan Cafe opened in garden city about two months ago as of this review. The interior is gorgeous and coffee is rich bodied. I feel a lot of class in this establishment. It is clean, thoughtful design, and has a talented staff of baristas. While I was there another customer and I talked. He said it's his new pit stop and it completely replaced t hos on his way to work. Smart guy! I ordered a cappuccino and pistachio rose cake. They are gorgeous combo. The bitterness of the coffee and the sweetness of nutty cake play together nicely. The barista asked me if I wanted any sugar and I'm glad I said no. The balance of flavors was perfect in this combo. Similarly, My partner got the finjan latte and he says(paraphrased) "Finjan latte is a light, warm taste profile. Tasted good with the "B BALLS"

The vibe is great here! Perfect place to get some work done. There are outlets & free wifi (if you ask). I got a small pitcher of Adeni tea! It's perfect if you like milk tea. Just the right amount of sweetness. Will definitely come back!

Great selection of Middle Eastern pastries and coffee. This well decorated quaint cafe is a quiet spot great for trying new flavors while talking with friends or doing computer work. Try a couple of different pastries and a coffee. Customer service was great and staff was friendly.

Odd the hostess didn't catch this open table for us the first time. She asked us to wait a minute. We were able to move to the window high top table. Better to not sit across a big giant table with a bunch of strangers. Ordered the Mushroom Swiss omelet with hash brown and white toast. I wanted to order the ranchero Benedict, but I am not allowed to swap out the English muffin for GF bread. Ordered the Mexicali burrito with turkey sausage and turkey bacon instead of brisket and 4 orders of beignet. $77.38 Had to ask for the toast part way into our meal. The hash browns were cold. Burrito fell apart instantly. Too hard to pick up. Tasted okay overall. Sauce on the top of burritos, made the tortilla wilted and unmanageable to pick-up. The mushroom Swiss was decent, white toast too. Potatoes slices and hash browns were okay. Service and food is average, needs some improvements for sure. The to go beignets were definitely not out in 5 minutes, took over 10 minutes. The beignets were by far the best part of the meal. Dough was light, airy, outside was crispy, yet chewy. The cream cheese dip was such a good pair.

While I was an avid watcher, I am not an avid baker. The videos inspired me to find a restaurant/bakery that offered this delectable meal. Simit is a relatively new Turkish bakery/café/shop with an enclosed case filled with baked goods up front, waist-high shelves with Turkish goods bordering the counter, and a few tables against one wall. On the day of my visit, the tables were already occupied but there was still counter space near the window. I went with the pide topped with cheese and egg. Spinach or meat are also available. They are custom-made, so it takes a bit of time, but it was well worth it when you can scurry away with a piping hot, freshly made meal. I also purchased the gül börek a brioche-like roll with spinach, and a crispy börek, a flaky pastry also filled with spinach. Both were heated so I could get straight to tasting when I got home. Dellah is located on a mixed residential and commercial street with plenty of parking nearby. We chose to eat lunch here in June 2026 since it wasn't too far from our hotel and we saw that they had outdoor seating - important since we had my little dog with us. The place was very busy but since we were eating outside, we had no wait and we were waited upon promptly. There are a LOT of American choices on here (like sugary pancakes) but a third of the menu consists of Yemeni food. I got a traditional Yemeni tea ($4.50) and my boyfriend sipped on a smooth matcha latte ($6.50). We had a big breakfast that morning, so we chose to just share the lahm sighar ($20), which comes with a piece of khuba bread, and also order an additional khuba bread ($2). About 15 minutes later, our food was ready and after taking the necessary pictures, we dug in! Needless to say, the extra bread was not necessary. I don't know what we were thinking but we assumed a piece of khuba was small. Nope! Each piece is the size of my 17-inch computer. Anyway, we used bits of the khuba as silverware to pick up the deliciously tender lahm sighar, something I saw others do when I went inside to use the bathroom and nosily looked around. I must mention that the BATHROOM HAS A BIDET. I REPEAT. BATHROOM HAS A BIDET!!!! Hehe :) seeing it just made me happy lol. So anyway, I saw that the coffee section of Dellah is set up inside like a traditional coffee shop where you can grab and go some coffee, tea, and pastries if you'd like. I did grab my bf, dog, and I some water from the coffee counter, which is self-service. We didn't leave a crumb behind and loved our food here. I would happily come back again! There is a 3% card surcharge fee so I paid the bill with cash, which came out to about 45 dollars after tax and tip. A little pricey, thanks to our expensive drinks, but so yummy!

This was an awful table to be at in here. We hardly had elbow room or table space, especially after the giant platter sized bread was out with all of the breakfast/ brunch items for half of the table. I ordered the Fazolia. Everyone else got omelets, burgers or wrap items. Yes, a couple of team members weren't keen on ordering Fasolia with scrambled eggs, large Greek salad, 2 lahm sighar (one with potato and one quit eggs), 2 smashed burger, Yemeni scrambled eggs, chicken fajita, Greek skillet, southwest skillet, chicken wrap, coffee, tea without milk, Turkish coffee, mint lemonade refresher. Every team member said their food was good. The scrambled eggs are a tad runny and looked a bit puréed. The fasolia has good flavor and even better with some heat. It came out piping hot. Without the added eggs, this dish would be woefully lacking in substance for me. I would likely still be left hungry with the beans alone, since I don't eat the bread, generally. I tried the bread to give it a go, it's good. The Greek salad is nicely plated or bowled rather. The ingredients are in separate piles and looks like a pinwheel. The red onions were crudely cut. The tomatoes looked wrinkled and not so appealing. The Greek salad was underwhelming for me. The tea doesn't taste good, definitely need some honey, sugar or the milk here, although I favor nothing in my tea.
