I really wanted to like Leblon Steak, especially since we live nearby, but after two visits I can confidently say we won't be back. On the positive side, there were a few cuts of steak that were genuinely delicious--perfectly seasoned, tender, and worth coming back for. Unfortunately, they were the exception, not the rule. Many cuts were just average, and a few items, like the bacon-wrapped chicken, were so dry they were basically inedible. My biggest issue, though, is the service--not from the gauchos bringing around the meats, but from the actual table servers who handle drinks, à la carte items, and checks. On my first visit (over the restaurant's opening weekend), we waited a full 30 minutes after finishing our meal without seeing our server. We had wanted dessert, but eventually had to go to the hostess stand to flag someone down. By then we decided to skip it entirely and leave. I figured they were still working out the kinks as a new restaurant, so I gave them another try. Unfortunately, this second visit with my family was just more of the same--very long waits to get our server's attention, long waits for food items, and when we finally asked for the check, it took a while to arrive. Then my credit card sat on the table even longer before anyone came back to process it. For the price point, the food isn't competitive with other Brazilian steakhouses in the area like Na Brasa, Fogo de Chão, or Chima, and the service falls well short of what I'd expect. After two tries, I think it's safe to say we'll be spending our money elsewhere.

This place was amazing. We went to celebrate my mother's birthday and upon entering the restaurant, you greeted with gorgeous decorations. It wasn't the most spacious restaurant but in a way it was nice and had a touch of modern seating l. The food they brought out was also delicious as they kept bringing freshly cooked steaks to our table. Even if you're not the biggest steak person, they have a cut you'll love. Salad bar is pretty impressive as well with several options available. The drinks they make are also amazing as they are flavorful and pretty strong which I like

As a good Brazilian I must say I have high expectations when I comes to rodízio. Therefore I went in wanting the full rodízio experience and I was not disappointed, not even a bit. All the meats I tried was delicious, well seasoned, melted in the mouth. The salad bar was perfect. The potato salad was to die for, so authentic it brought me back home to Brazil. The service was impeccable. The restaurant is beautiful, very elegant decor. I will definitely go back

A cozy bar area greets customers if you want to grab a drink while waiting to be seated. They also offer upstairs seating, rounding out a welcoming and highly professional atmosphere that has stood the test of time.   THE FOOD * Bread Service: The bread arrived with a tasty honey, chive, thyme, salt, and pepper butter, which was a nice touch. * Kumamoto Oysters: Ice cold and refreshing. They were complemented with cocktail sauce, watermelon mignonette, and fresh grated horseradish. * Crab Salad Special: Served in a martini glass. It featured cold, chilled crab marinated with tequila, triple sec, and lime, carefully laid on a bed of avocado mousse with an Old Bay-lined rim. Delicious and refreshing during a hot summer evening. * Tri-Color Beet Salad: A roasted beet and citrus salad with whipped ricotta and a pistachio honey vinaigrette that provided rich bites. * New York Strip: Sourced from Allen Brothers in Chicago. A showstopper with excellent crust and beef flavor. We ordered the Au Poivre sauce, which was tasty, but the steak was so good on its own that I ended up using the sauce for my sides! * 14 oz Center Cut Filet: Also sourced from Allen Brothers. Tender as expected with a wonderfully executed crust. * French Bordeaux Wines: We ordered the Chateau Loudenne Medoc and the Chateau De Sales Pomerol. Both were tasty, medium-to-full-bodied, and served as excellent accompaniments to the steaks. * Tuna Special: Nicely seared tuna served over vegetables and udon noodles. * Limoncello Pistachio Tiramisu: Very light and a nice end to the meal. * Kentucky Butter Cake: Served in a cast-iron pot with vanilla ice cream. Yummy and rich.   THE SERVICE Our server, Gene, has been with the restaurant for 8 years and provided exceptional service. He was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, pointing out standout options like the pastrami-dusted bone-in filet and the 45-day aged tomahawk topped with a root beer bourbon bacon compound butter.   OVERALL A great steakhouse experience with a highly professional staff and a kitchen that flawlessly executes high-quality steaks. I also got a side of mashed potatoes which were smooth and fluffy. The meat was very tender but the dish was a bit salty. Otherwise, the flavor was very good. Could use a bit more bearnaise sauce.

It was understandably packed so we arrived early were offered a table in their outdoor tent - but I wish we opted to wait for a table inside. The outdoor tent, while appreciated to accommodate extra guests and while heated decently for a cold evening, was cheesy and decorated with grocery-store decor and flowers - it felt like a high school dance. Just was not the vibe we were expecting or hoping for. The service was also noticeably slow which I also imagine was a combination of being in the tent and it being a holiday. On the plus side, all of our food was incredible. There were lots of specials and everything we had was delicious. We will absolutely be back just for the food, but will avoid the holiday rush and will opt to sit in their "usual" dining room going forward.

The service was top notch and super accommodating, and the ambiance of the place itself was cozy and upscale, but overall the food wasn't doing it for me. To start we ordered oysters which were fresh. They'd run out of Blue Points which were noticeably better from the other option they ended up having to give us since just three were left, which were just a tease at that point. The mussels were in a garlic and white wine sauce that was just too sweet and not really balanced enough, and many of the mussels were still closed or almost closed which I know better than to mess with. My steak special was the best thing I had here with mashed potatoes and crunchy greens, but even the au poivre sauce wasn't very flavorful. Still, my steak came out cooked just how I asked for it, and it was a good cut of meat. The waitress did say the kitchen was closing early that night since the chef's wife just had a baby so maybe it was just an off night. It was packed though so it seems like locals really like this place.

We typically eat upstairs. Our server was pleasant but new for us. Greg the owner stopped by as he normally does and we had a brief chat. A couple of cocktails a spicy Hawaiian Margarita and an Aviation. Both were perfect. We ordered a dozen oysters two types and they were clean and fresh. For mains we got the surf and turf and 8 oz. Filet. All perfectly prepared. My side was the Brussels sprouts and they were great but different from what I remember. Greg said that the new chef added chili aioli. It was a good add. We had a bottle of the Barolo from the wine list it was very good great bouquet and went well with our meals. This place never disappoints one of our regular stops in town. Mark & Nancy.
