Lead leaders..... to make a good team you have to lead by example, I give major kudos to shelley, Danielle and cardine for their work ethic and for making my decision of relocating so much better!!! if you are looking for a daycare, that's very well put together and want to feel safe about having your child go there..... they are going to experience an abundance of love support and compassion. I have met and witnessed other teachers in other classrooms and the way they handle their classroom and the way they are with the children all I could see is love, admiration and compassion!!!! but most of all PATIENCE which is what children need...... This is truly the canter to bring your kids if you live in the Cedar Grove or nearby towns, you will not regret it...I am a mom of two sons who are adults now I've worked in a pediatric office. I've worked in labor and delivery. I'm also a birth doula and I have to say out of all these places I've worked in with management and coworkers this by far......beats it allllllll...,,there's so much love here ..,,, something that they need....you gotta remember parents have to work so I am sure that while they're at work they want to hope and know that their children are giving the love and compassion and support and helping them with their milestones..... and REMEMBER these children are a reflection of us, so us teachers will be raising leaders here...... because what we would want for our own we would want for others...... many people have told me if I say something it's gotta hold truth... From the baby room all the way to the preschool class. This daycare was not only a daycare to me and my children it was a second home to us. They became family to me. They treat the babies and children as their own. When your child walks into the school they are greeted every morning with an huge smile, hello, and hug. Even my youngest loved it there. No other daycare/preschool is better than them. It's not those big chains, it's a small which means they follow the directions of schedules that you have for your children. And even played in the gated playground. I really liked this place. It is really difficult to find a place you honestly and completely trust to care for your child. Maybe no such place exists. But this was close. I just can't afford $1400 a month. That's why I took a star. The middle class should be able to afford a place like this without risking foreclosure or eviction.

Unfortunately it just didn't work out and we decided to take our child out after four months of enrollment. It was just a series of events that led to this decision, but the worst part is how it ended. Since he started in April, we felt like he's been out of the daycare more days than he attended(2 weeks for covid closure(thankfully my son didn't have it), a little less than a week for coxsackie closure(unfortunately he caught it from one of the kids), a random day in June, these upcoming two weeks for training and Labor Day, and possible two weeks Christmas Eve thru New Years break) and we're still paying for all of those days he's not attending on top of paying for a sitter while the daycare is closed. We wish we were aware that they have extended breaks instead of just major holidays like the other daycares in the area. What make matters worst is that they have a system where you pay for the month in advance. We notified them in August that our child will no longer attend the center in September(the month we recently paid for) and requested to get the money back. First we was told that our agreement states we have to give a 30 day notice(which it absolutely doesn't). When we went over the agreement and explained how it doesn't, we was just told that accounting team won't give a refund with less than a 30 day notice. I honestly feel scammed for my hard earned money and this experience has left a real bad taste in my mouth. Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had and no parent should have to go through this.

All of the teachers are great Ms.Bianca, Ms. Mary Anne, Ms. Jess, (just to name a few) they are simply amazing teachers that provide tons of love and have a huge caring heart. I'm writing this review with a heavy heart. I'm not one to bash any company! If I dislike any…read morecompany I just go about my day and don't return. Unfortunately, today I felt the need to review this business due to the trauma my son has been facing. My son attended this center for less than 8 months. In which two major head injuries occurred (see photo). One hematoma on the forehead which has left him with permanent muscle tear and is visible when he cries or laughs real big. Second injury was staples on his head because they allowed another child to hit my son with a very heavy plastic toy that gashed my son's head pretty deep. This is not ALL staff but certainly some young ones who clearly are not meant to be in The field to care for children. Sadly also management not being more proactive to make sure teachers are more aware of the children's surroundings. These are only 2 incidents that I felt justifiable enough never to return. There were other incidents of my child constantly being bitten. My reason for writing this is because the staples incident occurred 4/4/2025 and today my son had a complete meltdown scared to return to a new daycare... still naming the child from kindercare who hurt him. I'm not blaming the child I'm blaming management for having people who don't care and for not being more involved in the classroom. When my husband returned the following Monday to retrieve our sons belongings the staff didn't even bat an eye and that's very sad to hear. The reviews you see here are from management office pushing to get reviews from both parents and staff. They aren't real reviews. I only know this because I was one of the parents who received those request in November/December. Due to the biting incidents it took me awhile to review. But after the hematoma I removed it. All bad reviews seem to have been deleted. I hope they do better... for the children's safety and for the parents who have to work and shouldn't have to worry about their children's safety.
